Intro:
Now it is time for the main event and to find out who will create history tonight, here in the world famous Madison Square Garden we will crown the first ever Diamond Boxing Tournament winner, Camille Kostek and Karen Gillan both have won all their fighters in the round robin tournament; so the job is simple, either win and go home with the trophy or feel the bitterness of defeat at the final huddle.

Before the bout itself both women met face to face on a small stage at the press event inside MSG itself, banners hung up with both fighters in boxing gear, red for Karen, blue for Camille as they posed in front of them on separate sides of the stage with fists raised in their dresses (white for Camille, a light blue one for Karen) then coming together in front of the podium they were to speak at, staring intensely at each other as cameras capture the first face off between these two elite fighters, once told they have the photos both bubbly characters hug with smiles to show this won't be fought any ill feelings.

Sitting on stools on opposite sides of the stage back in front of their banners, the head of the FCBA committee gives a few words, telling the press “I will let these two wonderful fighters speak soon but I want to say on behalf of the FCBA committee congratulations to both fighters, you have shown the ideals we set out when we created this tournament of skill, toughness and a never give up attitude, as we here all know the person to win in these hallowed halls will rightly deserve it, now I will step aside and let Camille speak first” waving for Camille to speak, there's a round of applause for both fighters, who look to be blushing as they look at each other with a proud smile.

Camille now stands behind the podium as she waves to the press and assembled crowd, saying “gosh thank you all for that applause, I can say that it is humbling to hear that, you are all amazing, as has been said this has been a long journey made more interesting for me because I have heard before a punch was thrown in anger that I am the favourite, I have carried the weight of expectation throughout and with each win it has gotten easier, now honestly I have butterflies and feel a little sick but once that bell goes all that will disappear” Karen nodding along in agreement as she listens to her future opponent.

Turning to Karen, Camille says “now I can't exactly ignore you can I? (laughs from Karen and others in the room) I watched you that first night of the tournament after I won my fight, you were amazing to watch and throughout the tournament you have shown grit and your skills to get to this point, fact you are an amazing human being makes it more fitting that you made it here, if I weren't fighting you I would be rooting for you, but it is you and me red in the final and I haven't come all this way to let my stable down, so while losing to you won't be as bad as some people in the tournament, I am doing this for everyone who has helped me to this point” Camille nods to Karen to show respect, before giving up the podium.

Up now comes Karen with a beaming smile as she looks a little nervous, she jokes “you'd think I would be good at this with all my comic con events I have done but I am usually scared of saying something dumb” she chuckles as others laugh with her including Kostek, Karen takes a deep breath before adding “as Camille said this has been a hell of a tournament to be part of, I was viewed as an outsider when this begun and honestly I surprised myself at times with the wins I pulled out when I was behind, I've always been a bit of an underdog so this isn't anything new for me” smiling again as she looks assured of herself.

Then she looks at Camille as she tells her “trust me I like and respect you too Camille, I know maybe that doesn't sell tickets (laughing with the crowd) but I want you to know that, like you I have my own stable who has backed me since day one, when I was at Lookout! Boxing I got great training and support, still I got lost in the shuffle there, at Fates I have been given the number one tag in their welterweights, so like you I need to win for more then myself, I will drag you into the deep waters if you don't knock me out early, that's my promise to you” Camille stares with an intense look at that.

Both fighters square up again as they stare through each other, a few words being exchanged that microphones don't pick up before there is a handshake between them, heading off the stage at opposite sides as it seems to have been agreed that neither will be holding back, there positions on this fight clear, it is going to be horrible to chose which one of these two popular fighters to back when that bell finally rings.

Fight night with VIP guests at ringside, FCBA welterweight champion Hannah Ferguson, who has promised the winner a shot at the title, along with former champion Kate Upton, Lioness Club member Brooklyn Decker and Sceej boxing star Adrianne Palicki to name just a few at ringside to watch this clash.

In the ring the trophy is on a podium with a red pillow under it, a boxing glove shaped diamond on a wooden base with the year on underneath with a name plate space that is empty right now, the referee stands with the head of the FCBA committee and both fighters manager on either side for a quick photo before we get down to business.

First through the curtain comes Camille with her coach Nadia Bjorlin beside her, Camille blows kisses to the crowd at the top of the aisle before beginning her walk to the ring, a confident strut to her walk as she looks ready to take the trophy for herself, her fans roaring her on as she aims to show it's not just her SuperBowl winning man Gronk who can bring home trophies in that household.

Stepping into the ring to a loud cheer, Camille is wearing Buccaneers colours it seems in tribute of her man, red with black trim sports bra which have a pirate ship motif on her left bra cup, matching trunks and shoes, while she has red gloves, her hair is tied into a ponytail as she gives her manager a big hug, then settles into her warm up in her corner as she awaits her opponent.

Who she doesn't have to wait long for, Karen heads out with coach Ana Beatriz Barros beside her, who pats her on the back she sees that Karen is nervous, taking a deep breath as her fans are chanting her name, Karen marches down the aisle waving to the crowd with her beautiful smile, fans whistling and cheering the popular star.

She gets into the ring and gives her coach a quick kiss on their left cheek, then a fist bump with her manager at the Fates Boxing stable as they share a smile, Karen is wearing a navy blue sports bra, matching trunks, shoes and gloves as she bangs them together heading back to her corner, Ana telling her she has this as they embrace for a moment.

Referee then waves the fighters to the center of the ring as both fighters managers have left, the trophy and committee member are still there as both can't help having a quick look at the trophy, then they turn back to each other with an icy stare, know now it's time for action as they square up chest to chest.

After the referees instructions are finished, the fighters bump gloves with both wishing the other good luck, returning to their corners as the crowd is chanting each of their names, it takes a few moments for the podium to be removed, with both fighters pacing side to side in their corners, once everything is set the bell rings to start 10 rounds of welterweight action.

Round 1:
"Ding!" At the bell both women jog out their corner tapping a left glove with their opponent to show respect, then getting down to business as they trade probing punches, Karen bouncing on her toes as Camille tries to close the gap early, the blonde getting clipped to her face as she does so.

After the first thirty seconds, Camille feints with her left, as Karen takes the bait moving to her left, the real right hook catches her across the face, a groan escapes the Scottish lasses lips as she now finds Kostek in her face, Camille digging to the body as she crowds Karen.

Needing to shove back Camille as she feels the ropes on her back, Karen landing a one-two to the face of Camille, but she doesn't really press her advantage, which allows Camille to come back at her as they trade around the ring, Camille firmly in control of the middle of the ring.

Final minute to go with Camille dipping under a jab to come in with an overhand right that lands to the side of Karen's head, she drives the redhead onto the ropes again with Gillan covering up, trying to soak up punishment as Camille opens up on her, cracks heard from leather on flesh.

At the bell Camille yells "yes!" As she jogs back to her corner, breaking the ice with a strong round to start the fight, Karen being told to relax as Ana massages her fighters arms and legs, Karen nodding as she takes a deep breath to calm her nerves.

Round 2:
Tapping her cheeks before she steps out her corner, Karen doubles up her jab as she looks a little more free with her movement, Camille stalking after her with her own jab, both pounding gloves into cheeks when they land flush in the opening moments.

Then Camille goes to land a right to the body, Karen steps back with a clubbing left to the top of the Americans head to turn it to the side, as Kostek steps back a right lands across her jaw to rock her back a step as Karen's eyes light up.

Karen starting to bang back Camille, pressing her now around the ring as the blonde looks shook up, punches drilling into the face of Camille to mark up her face as she gets knocked into a neutral corner, where Camille pulls Karen into a clinch, blinking to clear her head as the referee needs to break them apart.

Resuming Camille looks subdued as Karen comes after her now, combos banging the arms of Camille, who can't get out from behind her guard, when the bell rings it's arguably a 10-8 round to Karen, she smiles as she jogs to her corner, Ana needing to now stop her getting overexcited as she seems to be letting emotions get the better of her.

Round 3:
Still looking a little shell shocked, Camille is getting peppered to her cheeks as Karen looks so much more free now, the redhead throwing combinations as Camille is mostly throwing single punches in reply, not doing enough to ward off Gillan.

Who starts to dig more punches into the abs of Camille to open her up top, Karen then lands a left cross up to the jaw of Kostek, which seems to wake her up as she throws a one-two combo into Karen's face to show her not to get too confident.

With half the round gone Camille is starting to come out her shell, knocking aside a jab as she steps in with two left hooks to the body, then just misses with an uppercut as Karen leans out the way in time, the attack at least has Nadia clapping as she wants to see more then of that.

Things evening out more as Camille is pushing forwards, still she is getting caught to her face as Karen is still throwing beautiful two to three punch combinations, sweat starting to cover their stunning bodies as they box around the ring to duelling chants.

When the round ends they turn on their heels to their corners, sitting on their stools looking at each other across the ring, there's hard looks being exchanged as a win tonight will mean the world to them, Camille tapping her toes as she wants to get out her corner to fight.

Round 4:
Jogging out to the middle of the ring, Camille has definitely shook off that second round from memory, exchanging with stiff punches as they move around the ring, Karen doubling up her jab as she is causing some swelling under the right eye of her opponent.

Slipping a straight as Camille moves in closer, landing two uppercuts to the body before a clubbing left to the cheek of Karen, Camille showing that raw power again as she presses her taller opponent to the ropes, sticking to the body as she wants to stop the Scottish lass being as mobile around her.

Hanging onto Kostek, Gillan forces the referee to step in to break them apart, once in space Karen hammers in a one-two combo to the face of Camille, looking to keep the powerhouse at bay as she drills in punches to the chest and face of Camille.

But a missed right cross leaves Karen open to an uppercut that knocks her head back, Camille pressing her onto the ropes again as time ticks away in the round, Karen covering up as Camille opens up on her, the bell rings to end the round with Camille nodding to herself, feeling better about herself after two terrible rounds.

Round 5:
It looks like the leash has come off Camille as she is coming forwards more again, getting more into the chest of Karen to force the issue, crowd roaring as they slug it out in close range, Karen nudging back Camille to reopen the gap between them.

Boxing more off the back foot as she let's Camille come at her, with both women staring hard at each other, a left smacks Camille across her cheek, THEN AN UPPERCUT CATCHES CAMILLE ON HER CHIN AND SHE STUMBLES DOWN TO THE CANVAS ON ALL FOURS!

Another big turning point as Karen is quick to head to a neutral corner, bouncing on her toes as she looks at Camille with a hopeful expression, 1...2...3... Camille shakes her head as she punches the canvas with her right hand, 4...5...6.. Camille pushes up to her right foot with her left knee on the canvas, 7...8... She pushes to her feet nodding to the referee that she is OK to continue.

The fighters resume fighting with Camille being pushed back by double jabs into her face, clinging onto Karen when her back touches the ropes, a little dirty boxing coming in as they land to the others kidneys, broken apart by the referee as they are warned to keep it clean.

At the bell Camille looks to the heavens, she must be wondering if tonight simply isn't going to be for her, Nadia is yelling at her to keep her head, Karen getting wiped down as Ana tries to hide her own joy at how the fight has went so far.

Round 6:
Pushing from the start to go at Camille now, Karen landing several good clean punches into the face of the blonde, snapping back the head of the American, opening a cut on the bridge of Camille's nose to make things look worse for her.

Ducking under a left cross, Camille lands two hooks to the body of Karen, shoving her head under the chin of the taller fighter as she pushes her back, with Karen shoving her as things get scruffy for a moment, more clipping punches being landed then flush ones.

A double jab catches Camille onto her nose to make her retreat back, Karen is doing a good job keeping Camille at range aimed towards the ropes, with Camille looking frustrated as she can't unload as she wants, getting pegged back when she is able to get in closer, head being snapped back.

Final minute to go in the round, Camille slips a jab then steps in with a clubbing left hook to the jaw of Karen, sweat flies off the redhead as she is being driven back into a corner, Camille throwing the kitchen sink at her to try to turn the fight around, banging to the body then she splits the guard of Gillan with an uppercut to knock back her head as the crowd is cheering her on.

The round ends with Camille taking a deep breath as she returns to her corner, while Karen shakes her head annoyed at herself for being caught there, both fighters coaches patching them up as there is some redness forming around the body of Gillan.

Round 7:
That long jab of Karen continues to be a headache for Camille, the ones that drill into the cut on the models nose to make her grunt out with a grimace, with rights following to knock her back a step in the early part of the round.

After the opening thirty seconds Camille fines her timing as she parries the jab to step in with a jab to the chest of Karen, then a right cross catches the redhead across her cheek to knock her head to the side, getting into the chest of the actress to force the issue.

The determination from Camille is showing as she keeps on getting into the face of Karen, both women throwing hard shots on the inside, but Camille for all the punishment she has taken is still landing the harder shots as she is also using her left forearm to bump back the older woman.

Using her own forearm to nudge back Camille, Karen lands two cross punches across the face of the American, pumping her fists back into the face of Kostek to knock her back, crowd standing cheering both women on, Camille covering up as she ends near the ropes.

Final moments of the round, Camille dips under a straight then throws an overhand left that smacks across the right eye of Karen, a small gash opens up above the eye as Karen cries out, Camille hammering away on the inside up till the bell rings, both women taking a breath as Karen checks her eye and sees blood on her glove, head down as she shows a hint of worry on her face.

Round 8:
Coming back out their corners, Karen seems to be keeping her right tighter to her right side of her face, with Camille getting more left hooks to the body of Gillan, Ana yelling at Karen to not hold back, with Camille pounding away more in closer now.

Heading towards the second minute as Karen starts to let that right go more, but Camille slips a straight then lands a left hook on that cut, opening it more as Karen cries out, AN UPPERCUT LANDS ON THE CHIN OF GILLAN TO SEND HER TO HER BACK!

Camille bangs her gloves together smiling as she looks relieved, 1...2...3...4.. Turning to her front, Karen has blood running down her right cheek to the canvas as she blinks trying to clear her vision, 5...6.. Pushing to her knees as she wipes her right eye, 7...8... Getting to her feet, Karen raises her fists up as the referee checks her over, the ringside doctor checks her eye and after wiping it clean allows Karen to continue.

On comes Kostek with just about half a round to finish this, Karen being bullied behind her guard as Camille is right at her, her supporters rallying behind her as they smell she can end this with the referee keeping a close eye on what is happening.

Pulling desperately her opponent into a clinch, Karen looks to be fighting her own emotions as well as her opponent, tears welling up as Camille struggles mightily to break free, the bell rings to end a drama filled round with Karen getting worked on desperately by her corner crew, Camille sits down looking amped up as Nadia tells her she has kicked the door down, time to take this fight home.

Round 9:
Going on the hunt right away, Camille has her supporters right behind her as Karen is boxing defensively, Camille rushing some of her attacks but the ones that land are definitely hurting her opponent as Karen is grimacing when the thud of Camille's glove lands on her.

Heading towards a corner as Camille comes after her, Karen shows she still has fight in her with a straight right onto the cut nose, THEN SHE LANDS A CLUBBING LEFT ACROSS THE CHIN OF CAMILLE, WHO STUMBLES ONTO THE ROPES, A RIGHT HOOK THEN SENDS HER DOWN ONTO HER BACKSIDE WITH HER BACK AGAINST THE ROPES!

The crowd are gob smacked till Karen fans jump for joy, she takes a deep breath trying to keep calm as she steps to the neutral corner, 1...2...3...4.. Camille blinks as she reaches up with her right to grab the middle rope, 5...6...7.. She turns to face the ropes as blood drips off the end of her nose, 8...9.. Camille is up, turning to face the referee with her gloves up, Karen looks heartbroken as she bends over shaking her head as if to say "what do I have to do to win?" As the referee orders them to continue.

On comes Karen as Camille still looks a little shaky, she pounds the face of Kostek with three clean punches that knocks her against the turnbuckles, crowd roaring as the referee watches closely, high drama here as Camille grabs Karen into a clinch, both tough fighters look tired as they rest on each other, broken up by the referee.

As Karen tries to get back at Camille with less then a minute to go, the American slips a straight to pound in an overhand left to that eye again, blood trickles from the cut again as Karen's eye seems to be shutting, more drama now as Karen clinches and as they wrestle both trip up to the canvas, taking a few moments to get up as they probably wish they could both just lay down, too much at stake here for that.

At the bell the crowd is on it's feet whistling and cheering both fighters as the place is electric, both sets of corners working furiously to get their fighters ready for the next round, the ringside doctor is watching Karen closely for her right eye, surely they wouldn't stop it now with a round to go?

Round 10:
The doctor gives a nod that Karen can fight on, with the referee bringing the fighters together before the bell for a standing ovation and to show each other respect, both fighters embrace as they clearly hold the utmost respect for each other, bumping a fist together before returning to their corner, they are ready for maybe the most important round of their careers so far.

"Ding!" A loud roar erupts as they move out to fight, Karen for most pundits is ahead on the scorecards, though she doesn't look so sure herself as she steps in with her right cross to try to hurt Camille early, that trouble with her right eye has effected her range though as she keeps missing with it.

The arena is electric as each clean hit in exchanges is met with wild cheers for both popular fighters, sweat and blood goes flying off as they are hitting each other with everything they have left in the tank, KAREN MISSES WITH AN UPPERCUT AS CAMILLE STEPS BACK IN TIME, A BRUTAL LEFT HOOK WOBBLES KAREN TWO STEPS TO HER LEFT, WITH A RIGHT HOOK SENDING GILLAN TO HER BACK!

"F**k yes!" Screams Camille as the referee has to remind her to go back to the neutral corner, she is pacing in the corner, 1...2...3...4.. Karen is staring at the lights laying spread eagle as blood runs from that cut down the side of her face to the canvas, 5...6... Tearfully Ana is begging Karen to get up, 7...8.. The count can barely be heard due to the noise of the crowd as one set of fans want her to stand Tyson Fury style, the others want Camille to win, 9.....10! It is over! Camille does it!

Winner Camille Kostek KO Round 10

After:
A dramatic end for what has been a drama filled tournament, Camille falls to her knees covering her face as her emotions hit her, this is the most important win of her career so far as she becomes the first ever Diamond Boxing Tournament winner, Nadia quick to rush into the ring full of tears herself as she kneels to hug her fighter, years of working together has led to this moment.

On the other side of the coin Ana is sobbing tears of pain as she kneels beside Karen, the ringside doctor checking the beaten fighter over as Ana apologizes to her for not doing a good enough job, Karen is helped to sit up crying herself, saying sorry to Ana as both look broken at the moment by this loss, after toughing it out through challenge after challenge, the Cinderella story ends in heartache.

Once Karen is helped to her feet by Ana, over comes Camille as the two fighters embrace and share words of love and respect for each other, Camille lifting the right arm up of Karen to a loud cheer as Karen wipes tears from her face, Camille showing her class tonight.

Returning to their corners for a much needed sit down while they get patched up, the crowd is standing on it's feet applauding both women for one hell of a fight, Karen looked firmly on top then Camille's comeback late on in what can be described best as a shootout through those last few rounds will go down in FCBA folklore.

Once they are ready along with the tournament organisers, the award ceremony begins as Karen is first up to the center of the ring to receive a silver medal with a green sash, she waves to her fans as they chant how much they love her, it is a hard pill to swallow losing but Karen must be proud of herself for one hell of a tournament performance, she has arguably now finally entered the elite club of fighters after so many years looking in from the outside.

Then it's time for the big moment, Camille getting her hand raised by Karen as she comes to the center, with Camille fighting back tears as she thanks Karen for her class, turning to the podium, Camille gets a diamond medal with winner on it, before lifting the trophy up to confetti raining down over her while the crowd cheer her.

Posing for photos with the trophy and Karen beside her, Camille took her favourite tag in her stride from day one and now is a history making, with the champion watching on keenly on her next challenger, can Camille complete the perfect month and win the title on the 30th July?

For now Camille and Karen climb out the ring and head to the back together, though one leaves with the main prize, both have won respect from the fans around the world and are right in the contender stakes, the next friendly race between them will be who wins the big gold belt first between them it seems as they joke around.
