Intro:
We kick off tonights Fight Night Live card in London's O2 Arena with cougar boxing action, Stana Katic looks to keep her undefeated streak against the former BBU lightweight champion Manuela Arcuri, will Manuela stop the feel good factor for Stana fans or will the actress keep on the run.

Stana has started her career by defeating Cindy Sampson and Angie Harmon, while Manuela has won two of her last fight, beating Monica Bellucci and Elisabetta Gregoraci, so Manuela needs a win to get on the right foot back towards the top again in her career.

Before the bout took place, both women were asked for a few words in the back stage area, first was Stana wearing a white T-shirt with blue jeans, the FCBA Network's Alicia Atout was on duty with the microphone along with her beautiful smile for the camera's.

"Hey Alicia, another FNL card I get to be a part of, another fun fight for me" Stana says with a beaming smile, Alicia nodding in reply with her own smile, replying that maybe they should set up an interview spot for each event ahead of time now, both chuckling at that.

Then it gets a bit more serious as she is asked about her thoughts on this fight, Stana replies "it's another step up for me already, while sadly I think titles are out my grasp, to fight a former BBU champion in just my third fight should be proof to fans how serious I am about all this, while I was kept out the FCBA for whatever reason in the past, now I am here I will take every big fight that comes my way" her eyes narrowing as she stares at the camera.

Alicia then asks what she thinks of Manuela as a fighter, anything that worries her, Stana answers "she is used to competing at a high level, when you can boast you were a world champion in the past, you don't fluke your way to that, beyond that I think physically we match up well, it will come down to if I can control the action, if I let her get on a roll then it will be hard for me to claw the fight back in my direction" Alicia nodding in agreement.

The final question is on Charlize Theron and with Tess Valmore's comments that Stana will have to wait a long time for a shot at the GOAT, Stana laughs before she says "I should have known that would come up, I never said I wanted to fight Charlize exactly this early, if I did hell I could go down to her gym and get into her face to throw down, I am not afraid of her but this is only my third fight, Charlize has a few too many tricks up her sleeve for me right now, whenever she has a slot open I want her to write my name in it because I want to fight her, I'll keep proving I deserve to till then" Stana tapping Alicia on her shoulder, thanking her for the time to talk before she heads off to her locker room.

Manuela meanwhile later the day comes to the backstage area wearing a blue dress with matching heels, she shakes the hand of Alicia before turning to face the camera, hands on hips as she says "you want to fight the best Stana, you certainly have it now" smiling as she looks in a cocky mood.

Asked why she took this fight, the Italian beauty replies "Stana gave me a call that she wanted to fight me, I never turn down a challenge, fact is she has beaten two nobodies so far in her career, now she thinks that she is ready for a real test, honestly she hasn't impressed me one bit" shaking her head as she dismisses her opponent.

The final question is does she feel like she has been rejuvenated as this will be her fourth fight this year after a quiet period in her career, she answers "did not fighting as much help; maybe, I am a fighter at heart and in my soul, so it has hurt not being able to step into a ring as much, this year has been so much fun and with beach boxing season coming up, let's say my bikini is always ready if someone wants to challenge me" winking, before she struts off to her locker room.

Fighting time, first through the curtain comes Stana with her coach, the Canadian beauty is wearing a red sports bra with white trim, matching trunks and shoes, hair tied into a ponytail, with white gloves on, she looks relaxed as she walks to the ring, used to the pressure cooker of a crowd wanting you to win and baying for your blood now.

Getting into the ring, Stana pumps her right fist into the air as she jogs to her corner, blowing kisses to her fans cheering her before she gets serious, shadow boxing as her coach reminds her to stick to the plan, not to be afraid of her opponent's reputation.

With Manuela now beginning her walk to the ring with her coach, she is wearing a satin blue robe as she has that catwalk strut, her coach following behind with a smile as they look confident that win number fourteen is coming tonight.

The robe is taken off to reveal a blue sports bra with gold trim, matching trunks and shoes, her hair is braided, while she wears blue gloves with gold thumbs, stepping into the ring with her arms in the air as she nods to her fans, Manuela fist bumps her coach then gets into her own warm up routine.

Referee waves the fighters to the center of the ring, where their eyes lock in an intense stare, both shaking their arms and legs to keep limber, when told to touch gloves they thud theirs into their opponent's set with a crack of leather, some respect but no real love between them, back in their corners now, the bell rings to start 10 rounds of lightweight action.

Round 1:
Kicking off the action around the middle of the ring trading stiff shots right away, Manuela lands a short digging right to the body, gets clipped to her ear by a left cross as both start off on the front foot, trying to establish control of the action.

An uppercut lands into the stomach of Arcuri, with a left hook on the jaw of the Italian to turn her head, Stana presses back Manuela onto the ropes with a well drilled body work, getting pushed back as the former champion gets off the ropes.

Manuela drilling in a nice one-two combo to the face of an aggressive Stana, a left cross lands to knock back Katic as now Arcuri is starting to open up, pushing back the Canadian back onto the ropes, throwing short cross punches up top as she looks to bully Stana.

A left forearm to the chest of Manuela nudges her back, a right cross lands on the jaw of Manuela, Stana lands a one-two combo into the face of the former BBU champion, driving her back across the ring as the action switches back around.

The bell rings with Stana pinning Manuela onto the ropes, she turns back to her corner with a relaxed look, Manuela banging her gloves together as she returns to her corner, annoyed at ending up bullied to finish the round.

Round 2:
Pressing ahead with a double jab into the top of Stana's head, Manuela shows off her raw power with a right cross on the jaw of the actress to turn her head, allowing her to take the center of the ring, making Katic go on the defensive.

Stana landing several good jabs, she misses with a right hook out her guard as Manuela sees it coming, leaning out the way before pounding a straight into the forehead of Stana to knock her head back, Manuela then presses her into the ropes with a one-two combo.

Needing to clinch up with Manuela, Stana looks like she is gritting her gumshield annoyed, referee needing to break them up as they grapple, once apart Manuela getting caught with a straight on her chin, a left cross lands to the jaw of Arcuri to turn her head.

Final minute to go, Stana is able to get her rhythm going again, slamming in some nice combos, but she misses with a left cross before a right hook slams into the jaw of the Canadian, with Manuela able to press back Katic into a corner, covering up as the seconds tick away, the bell rings to end the round with Manuela strutting back to her corner, happier with herself after a strong round.

Round 3:
Trading in close range, the fighters are starting to use little shoves to open up space, with Stana getting clipped with a left cross on her cheek, Manuela landing a one-two to follow, pushing back the actress towards the ropes.

A missed right cross leaves Arcuri open to a counter left on her jaw as Stana moves to her left, a right then smacks the model under her right eye to make her retreat back, Stana not giving her much room to breath as she whacks in two hooks to the body.

Taking the center of the ring for herself this time, Stana mixes up her punches as Manuela is only really able to land single punches out her guard, Stana beating her back with two to three punches in return, controlling the pace of the fight well.

Late in the round though Manuela makes some headway with a counter left after feinting with her right, catching Stana across her lips, she follows with a straight into her nose to make Stana take a step back, soon they are going toe to toe as the crowd is whistling and cheering both women on.

At the end of the round they turn to their corners after a quick glare at each other, Stana sitting on her stool looking at her coach for advice, with Manuela staring daggers across the ring at her, not enjoying being pushed around by her opponent.

Round 4:
Slamming in more straight punches through each others guards, Stana slips a straight to bang in a counter left across her face, when she tries to press forwards though she is nudged back by the left shoulder of the model, who lands two short digging rights to the body.

Fighting around the middle of the ring after they shove apart from close inside fighting, Stana gets clipped with a left cross to her cheek, then a straight slams into her face to knock her head back with sweat flying, Manuela turning the heat back up on her as she muscles Katic into a neutral corner.

Throwing short digging punches into the breadbasket of her opponent, Arcuri is gritting her mouthpiece as she lays into Katic, getting clipped around the back of her ear with right handed shots, till Stana needs to clinch up to force the referee to break them apart, Manuela doing a great job keeping Stana towards the ropes, slamming in punches to the chest of Stana to open her up to hooks up top.

Forty five seconds to go with Manuela still herding her opponent around the ring, she misses with a right cross as Stana gets her left glove up in time, a straight slams into Manuela's chin before a left hook slams into her temple, that looks to have stunned Manuela as she finds herself being knocked back by five punches flush into her face, with a sixth coming if not for the bell ringing to stop the action.

Manuela shakes her head as she looks a little wobbly on her feet, returning to her corner where her coaching crew try their best to get her woken up for the next round, even though Stana probably didn't do enough to win the round, she might have just gained the biggest step forwards in it with that temple shot.

Round 5:
Manuela is out her corner but Stana is quicker off the blocks, catching her with a double jab on her nose, stepping back when Manuela swings in a left cross that finds simply air, INSTEAD AN UPPERCUT LANDS ON THE CHIN OF MANUELA TO ROCK HER HEAD BACK BEFORE SHE COLLAPSES TO ALL FOURS!

A loud roar rings out from the Stana corner as she jogs to the neutral corner, 1...2...3.. Manuela tries to push her way up to her feet, 4...5...6.. She stumbles though as clearly she is badly dazed, 7....8... Ending up on her left side as she groans, 9...10 that's it! Manuela is out for the count!

Winner Stana Katic KO Round 5

After:
That's win number three for Stana, who turns to the crowd with arms out at her side and a big grin as if to say "did you enjoy that?" To them, they respond with a loud cheer to show they did, with her coach smiling warmly at her as they give her a thumbs up.

Meanwhile Manuela needs assistance from her coach to get back over to her stool, she holds her jaw as she is clearly hurting from that knockout shot, her eyes starting to clear thankfully as the ringside doctor checks her over, giving a thumbs up that she will be OK.

In the opposite corner Stana gets her gloves taken off as she admits "I didn't know if I could match her power, god she is strong" getting a rye smile from her coach, who pats her on the shoulder as they tell her she is doing great so far, always room to improve makes Stana chuckle as she nods.

Heading to the center of the ring, Manuela stays in her corner watching from her stool as Stana gets her hand raised, the crowd chanting her name as Manuela shakes her head as she stares at the lights, wondering how she lost this fight against this rookie in her eyes.

Manuela leaves the ring with help from her coach, she will be looking to get back in the winning column soon judging by how serious she has taken to fighting again after years of one of appearances, maybe even a rematch with Stana someday judging by the stare they gave each other before she stepped out the ring.

In the ring Stana goes on a victory lap as she blows kisses to the crowd, thanking them for their support with a big beautiful smile, she leaves the ring when the lap is over, who will be next on Stana's tour as she looks to catch up on lost time starting her career so late.
