BEFORE: Several Italians were active in BBU this month already and the Black Eagles have invited Ilary Blasi for a high-profile test against Ann-Kathrin Brommel to go with the proverbial flow. Gina Wild still believes Ann-Kathrin aka Vida can become a regular lineal champion however the lanky model continues to blow hot & cold and BBU TV's Georgie Thompson reckons she won't reach all that potential in the foreseeable future. Brommel wants to prove the critics wrong and given Blasi's dismal record she simply has to put her away in style tonight.

On the other hand Ilary's only BBU victory came versus a German opponent and the TV showgirl herself belives Brommel is "equally as hittable as that stupid tramp Micaela Schaefer". Well, let's see if she's right about that one!

Ilary Blasi wears a violet bikini set & white gloves. Long blonde hair tied in a sleek ponytail. Ann-Kathrin Brommel wears a beige bikini set & red gloves. Long light brown hair in loose waves. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the lightweight division.

Round 1:
Ilary flies in hot and bounces into the model's face to trigger a feisty head-hunting dispute but Vida's superior reach eventually makes the difference and rocks the Italian with a hard left followed by a jaw-crushing uppercut moments later. Ilary wobbles to her heels with a loud whimper and the German model clobbers her up the middle to raise volume inside the arena. She backs the blonde onto the ropes where she keeps blasting her up high to bury Ilary behind a tight earmuff thereafter. The local fans must be enjoying this commanding drive from their starlet however Brommel is unable to send her rival down for the early count and gets clinched instead as Blasi manages to survive the drama with a desperate effort. She actually bangs the brunette in the navel but is almost shoved through the ropes as Vida wants to break free and resume some genuine boxing late.

Round 2:
Ilary remains aggressive early but her leaky high-guard dumps her into quick trouble as Vida simply outworks her in mid-distance and lands a couple of big shots on each temple before cracking another swift uppercut on the jaw. Blasi tries to fire back from behind the guard but finds the model's forearms and gets picked off thereafter while Brommel gradually begins to drop her back onto the ropes. Ilary is unable to tame the German's attack but leaks less punches then in the opener and responds over the top come the final minute. She lands some crisp single punches in Ann-Kathrin's face but that's probably not enough to convince the judges to award her the round according to Georgie T. in the booth.

Round 3:
Ilary tries to dominate from the start again but she doesn't carry enough power to handle Vida's response once the German starts to land her punches and spins the older woman to the side. Ilary soaks up a flurry of body shots which come into Ann-Kathrin's plan on Gina Wild's orders and this is where the TV showgirl looks vulnerable as she's unable to stay off the ropes thereafter. Vida yells at the her as she ups the tempo but only finds the break through when she nails her on the liver area. Ilary half-turns towards the turnbuckle and gets pounded on the kidneys while Brommel fires more shots downstairs and FORCES THE ITALIAN TO TAKE A KNEE just before the two-minute mark. Blasi barely landed a punch during this one-sided spell and appears to be genuinely hurt even when she gets up at seven. Ann-Kathrin wants to blow her away before the bell but misses her initial approach and suddenly has Ilary picking her off in desperate fashion; she lands a crisp hook on the temple and bangs a follow up on the breasts to keep Vida at bay which only makes Gina Wild upset in the Eagles' corner.

Round 4:
Ann-Kathrin races to pour more body assault on the seemingly hurting tourist but Ilary beats her for the initial punch and slams a cross hook on the nose on the follow up. That punch wobbles Vida onto her heels and Blasi rips a left hook on the ear that FLOORS THE MODEL to absolutely stun the Hamburg audience! Uh-oh!! Old demons raise their head for the German talent again as she has to soak up the standard eight count and Ilary can't wait to resume her shocking comeback. She jumps into a trigger-happy attack and tears a small gash under Vida's left eye while she bundles her over to the ropes where she hammers her in the gut. Brommel slumps forward with a loud whimper and tries to clinch the TV showgirl but Blasi wants none of that and keeps plugging her mitts into the exposed breadbasket until she SENDS BROMMEL CRASHING DOWN ON HER KNEES again! It's a knockdown number two and the German model is left down on all fours for majority of the count until she makes a last-ditch recovery at eight. Uh-oh! She's given the all clear but looks rattled enough for Ilary to pounce on the prey and BLAST ANN-KATHRIN ONTO THE ORBIT with a left/right combo on the chin that simply folds the local favorite unconscious even before she hits the boards!!! Stunning upset here!!! KO4 Ilary Blasi!!!

AFTER: Gina Wild is absolutely shocked and cannot believe what just happened. The designated tomato can just blew her alleged lightweight contender away in ultra-vicious fashion! Guess Ann-Kathrin's career might fall down by the wayside to mirror her husband Mario Goetze's fall from grace as the World Cup winner can't stay off the Dortmund bench for a long while lately. It's a proper disaster for the Black Eagles who looked set to sweep the home event until Ilary Blasi of all people filed a dissenting vote. She backs up all the Italian success in BBU this month and indicates she's maybe not such a low-hanging fruit for all these betting favorites after all? Meanwhile the best news for Ann-Kathrin is that stablemate Lorena Rae seems to be focused on making noise on the other side of Atlantic this summer and she's got enough time to find a redemption challenge in the so-called meantime.
