Intro:
A Merseyside clash kicks off tonights pay per view, with fans of both actress Jodie Comer and singer Jenny Frost crossing the border into Wales for this clash in the Cardiff's BBU Arena, will Jodie continue to grow her reputation as the new hot thing from Liverpool or will one of it's favourite daughters stop her unbeaten run?

The betting odds are firmly on the rookies side with her beating Micaela Schaefer and Danielle Lloyd to kick off her career, but Jenny is coming in on a victory over Jessica Michibata this month, Jenny will need to roll back the clock once again if she is to overcome the young fighter tonight.

Before the clash both women gave there thoughts to BBU TV reporter Georgie Thompson in the backstage area, Jodie coming into the arena with her coach carrying her bags, Jodie wearing a white blouse, blue jeans and black heels is all smiles as she sees Georgie, giving her a warm handshake before they get down to business.

It's been a few months since Jodie last fought, Georgie asks what has kept her from the ring, happily Jodie replies "well my acting career has kinda gotten bigger lately, a few movies and of course Killing Eve has taken my time, still I have been sparring when I can and doing my morning runs, now I have some free time I decided to get in a fight or two before Christmas to remind people in the BBU that I am around" Georgie nodding in reply with a beaming smile of her own.

The subject changes to her opponent tonight, Jodie tells Georgie when asked about Jenny "she's been a good fighter but I need to stamp my authority in Liverpool, it was great that Jennifer (Ellison) sent me a message wishing me luck in my future, now is the time to knock down a few legends, Jenny doesn't scare me one bit, she needs to step aside for me" her demeanor changing as it becomes more serious.

With a final question asking if she has any plans to join a stable, Jenny laughs before answering "well considering I have been away for a while, I don't think a stable would want me, I'm glad of freedom to box and act when I want, maybe when I am more established I'll see if anyone wants me, for now it's just about getting into a groove to show I belong in the elite here in the BBU" thanking Thompson afterwards for taking the time to talk to her, then leaving to go to her dressing room.

Jenny meanwhile walks in wearing a blue T-shirt with blue jeans and black trainers, also looking in a good mood as she hugs Georgie, telling her how good it is to see her as it has been a few months for Jenny being in the ring, her coach follows in afterwards with her bags.

Georgie asks Jenny what she thinks of her opponent, Jenny replies "not too much, she doesn't seem to have any dedication to this sport and I think she just wants her face on magazines for winning, not for actually achieving anything, my first fight all those years ago was against Lisa Maffia for the lightweight title, I pushed myself to be the best in the BBU from day one, Jodie is going to get a rude awakening tonight" a serious tone from Frost, who clenches her fists as she means business.

She adds "before you ask I know people are writing me off as they always have, probably saying I'd have a better shot if the gloves were off and we were fighting outside a bar, all the jokers can stick their heads up their backsides, Jodie won't be sweeping me aside like Micaela and Danielle, she'll need to knock me out to get past me" Jenny nodding to Georgie as she is wished good luck by the interviewer, heading off herself to her locker room.

Fight night, out first comes Jodie with her coach, she is wearing a black sports bra with red trim, matching trunks and shoes, red gloves, while her hair is in a ponytail, she gives a quick wave to her fans at ringside, she looks in all business mode though as she steps into the ring, bouncing on her toes shadow boxing to keep loose.

Jenny is now out with her coach, looks like she won the coin toss on wearing the Liverpool inspired kit, a red sports bra with gold trim, matching trunks, shoes, with red gloves and her hair also in a ponytail, she stares hard at Jodie as she steps into the ring, pointing at the canvas with her right as she says "I end your run tonight" Jodie waving Jenny to bring it as this certainly isn't a friendly atmosphere between the fighters.

Even more evident when they come together at the center of the ring, noses touching as they square right up to their opponent, hands on hips as they scowl at each other, when told to touch gloves they swipe them into their opponent's, then jog back to their corners, fists raised as they are ready for 10 rounds of lightweight action.

Round 1:
Trading stiff jabs to start, Jenny is looking to pressure Jodie it seems as she swings in cross punches that just miss as Jodie steps back out the way, landing a few good counter punches straight into the lips of the veteran, getting an early smile from her coach.

Jenny shows a little of her experience by feinting with a left, then slamming a right into the chest of Jodie, she then powers back the Killing Eve star to the ropes with short hooks around her guard, Jodie grabbing onto Jenny's right arm as she hammers her left into the side of the head, referee breaking them up and warning Comer to keep it clean.

Half way through the round, Jodie dips under a left cross, hammering in two right hooks under the ribs of her opponent, an overhand left doesn't land clean, it does though allow Jodie to drive back Frost towards the ropes, working the body as her head is down, getting pushed back by Jenny to open up space between them.

That seems to give Jodie confidence as she pushes the pace, landing two punches to Jenny, controlling the center of the ring, Jenny covering up as a left hook across the jaw, a straight snaps back the singers head, the bell soon rings with Frost on the ropes, thudding her gloves together as she returns to her corner looking annoyed, Jodie looking relaxed as she listens to her coach with a smile.

Round 2:
Meeting back at the center of the ring, Jodie comes out on the front foot, drilling in several one-two combos to knock back the head of her opponent, Jenny needing to shove Jodie back so she can retreat to reset herself, Jenny seen saying "come on" to herself.

As Jodie looks to pile the pressure on, she shows a little rookie tenacities as she misses swinging wide, Jenny spots her chance to come back at her with a counter right across the jaw of Comer, a double jab followed by a straight knocks Jodie back onto her heels, with Jenny now stepping forwards to work.

Controlling the center of the ring herself now, while Jodie is getting off some good punches, Jenny is starting to dictate the action by using shoves along with slinging in body punches that are borderline on the waistband of her opponent's trunks, starting to rough up the younger woman.

Final thirty seconds sees Jodie miss with a wild left hook as she tries to get off the ropes, Jenny smirking as she sends a right hook across Jodie's breasts to cruelly hurt her, then a double jab smacks the actress to the chin to send her back to the ropes, the bell rings to end the round with Jenny looking better there, happier now as she sits on her stool tapping her feet looking like she wants more of Jodie.

Round 3:
As they exchange now Jenny is starting to use her left to give Jodie little shoves, when Jodie gets in closer she is starting to hold with her left as she sends right into the side of her head, referee warning Jenny now to keep it clean as she is roughing up her less experienced opponent.

A double jab catches Jodie on the top of her head, pushing her back to the outside of the ring as again she moves to the center, she gets in closer as she dips her head down, forcing a phone booth style fight as they work away to the body, Jenny not giving Jodie much room to load up with the ropes behind her.

Clinching up with Jenny to force the referee to break them up, Jodie looks happy to have space to work in again, especially when Jenny tries to get back into her face right away, Jodie dodges a right cross and lands a counter left across the cheek of her older opponent, an uppercut knocks back the head of Frost as they enter the final minute of the round.

Comer starting to come forwards, happening in punches square to the face of Jenny, who is trying to fight her way back onto the front foot, but is being knocked back towards a neutral corner, Jenny is shelled up in the final moments of the round, at the bell Jodie nods to her corner as she walks back to them, looking all business as Jenny scowls at her.

Round 4:
Snapping a one-two combo on the chin of Jenny, Jodie is getting her rhythm going, starting to move her upper body more to dodge then strike, Jenny now the one getting desperate with her punch selection, missing more as she takes punches square to the face.

A feint opens Jenny up to an uppercut on her chin, Jodie follows up with a left/right hook combo as she is starting to batter back the singer, Jenny again misses with a left cross, A COUNTER RIGHT ON THE CHIN WOBBLES JENNY, LEFT HOOK ON THE BUTTON SENDS FROST TO HER BACK!

Jodie walks to the neutral corner saying "that's it" to herself, 1...2...3.. Jodie looks to the lights with an unfocused look to her eyes, 4....5....6.. Mouthpiece hanging out her mouth, 7...8... Jodie bouncing on her toes arms in the air, 9...10 knowing this fight is over as Jenny is counted out!

Winner Jodie Comer KO Round 4

After:
Third win for Jodie, third where the fight only lasted till the fourth round, the winner mounting the bottom ropes of the corner she is taking in the crowds love, a big beaming smile as Jodie is looking a good prospect on these early performances.

Jenny on the other hand needs to be helped by her coach, gumshield taken out so she can get a drink, shaking her head to clear some fog, she looks down at the canvas when it sets in that she lost this fight, her coach trying to keep her spirits up by reminding her she looked good over the second and third round, though she doesn't look so interested in that.

Once both women have their gloves off, Jodie goes over to the corner of Jenny, offering her a handshake as Jenny stares hard at her, they do shake hands but it is a tense one as Jenny is still upset about losing, Jenny leaves the ring afterwards as she isn't interested in seeing Jodie getting her hand raised.

Which happens not long after, the right arm of Jodie raised up, her fans applauding her as Jodie blows kisses to them in reply, Jodie then steps out the ring as her coach pats her on the back, can Jodie fulfil her potential like she has in her acting career or ironically will her acting career get in the way of her boxing career?
