Intro:
Two EastEnders stars get to settle whose better in the ring now, Lacey Turner and Maisie Smith have shared a set for over the past decade, with their career paths on camera and in the ring looking similar when you look at Lacey at Maisie's age, can Lacey the one to take the undefeated streak of Smith?

Heading into the fight, both women took time to speak their mind to the BBU TV reporter Kate Abdo, with Lacey sitting backstage on the EastEnders set when she has a moments peace from filming, crossing her right leg over her left as she looks a little annoyed to be pestered on set.

Lacey tells Kate "I finally get to punch Maisie's lights out, all the time we'd spar on set when we had free time and she would talk tough, she's always been a mouthy brat, ask anyone on set who had to deal with her, thank God she left to be a pub question answer on who that little ginger s**t was on EastEnders" taking a sip out of her coffee cup.

Asked about if she thinks comparisons between them are justified, Lacey looks into her cup angrily, then answers "what's with that bullsh*t! Maisie and me are nothing alike in the ring or out of it, I can't wait to lay that to bed when I knock her f**king out!" Kate nodding as she sees others on the set looking at them, thanking Lacey for her time before heading off.

When Kate talks to Maisie, it's after Maisie has finished a training session in the Marti's Maulers gym, they sit on a bench as nearby her stablemates are working out, Maisie wiping her brow with a white towel as she tells Kate "I have wanted this for a while, Lacey is all talk and no guts, well maybe plenty guts" using her hands to signal she thinks Lacey is fat, then laughing as Kate looks awkward.

"When I was eighteen and finally allowed to train in boxing on the set, I will never forget the first training session with Lacey, she seemed all sweet till we got in the ring, then the tubby cow tried to rough me up, hell if not for the producers we'd have settled this a long time ago, now I am rid of that sh*tshow, she has no where to hide from me" says Maisie, looking determined as she clenches the towel in her right fist.

Kate then asks if she might be thinking about fighting Lottie Moss still on the Boxing Day PPV, Maisie grins as she replies "oh Lottie doesn't have to worry, she is still on my mind, first Lacey, then I deal with Princess f**king Peaches, ain't no one going to save her from my wrath" tapping Kate on her left shoulder as she gets up, thanking her for the time before heading off to the showers.

Fight night, first through the curtains comes Lacey with her manager/coach Katie Price beside her, Lacey walks down the aisle wearing a purple sports bra, purple trunks with black trim, matching shoes, purple gloves, while her hair is tied into a braid as she steps into the ring now, tapping her cheeks as she bounces on her toes, psyching herself up for this battle.

Here comes Maisie with Emma Bunton working her corner, she is wearing a white sports bra with black trim, matching trunks and shoes, black gloves, her hair is tied into a ponytail, she steps into the ring thudding her gloves together, Emma telling her to keep relaxed and do what she does best.

The referee waves the fighters to the center, smartly staying between them as their eyes are locked, the tension clear as the crowd is buzzing for this fight, no touch of gloves when prompted shows there is no love lost here, instead they return to their corners, ready to start 10 rounds of bantamweight action.

Round 1:
Out come the fighters and right away they trade punches in close, feet planted as they want their opponent to respect them, they nearly clash heads as they come in closer with hooks, making them move back to range as the crowd roars the fighters on.

A jab smacks Lacey onto her chin, followed by a straight to her nose that knocks back her head, Maisie piling the pressure on now as she smacks her opponent with another one-two to knock her towards the ropes, Maisie smartly not rushing inside, working on the outside as she uses her reach advantage.

It takes a minute of Turner being knocked back around the ropes, Lacey deflects a straight before landing a left cross to the jaw of the redhead, pushing back the younger woman to the center of the ring, where they trade hard shots across their opponent's face, both gritting their mouthpiece to try not to show pain.

Final thirty seconds sees Maisie step back out the way of a left cross, hammering in an uppercut to knock back the brunette, Lacey covering up as she is sent to the ropes, Maisie swinging in short hooks up till the bell rings to end the round, a strong start from Smith as she grins.

Round 2:
Again both start out on the front foot, clashing bodies as they both swing in right hooks that just miss, pushing apart as they stare angrily at each other, Maisie pumps a straight into the face of her rival, a left cross follows as back goes Lacey onto her heels, with Maisie driving her back into a neutral corner.

After pushing back Maisie, Lacey gets away from the corner, she ducks under a left cross to bury in two right hooks under the ribs of Maisie, a left hook turns the head of Smith, who finds herself now being pressed back towards the center of the ring, both fighters coaches urging them on as neither wants to give the other an inch.

Missing with a right cross, Maisie takes a right to her abs, followed by an overhand left to her jaw that makes her groan, Lacey powers her into a neutral corner with piston like body shots, her head right under the chin of Maisie, who pulls her into a front headlock to force the referee to step into break them apart.

Final moments sees Maisie not as keen to engage, trying to not get caught so easily as she uses her jab to try to keep Lacey at range, stabbing it into the top of the older fighters head, at the end of the round Lacey raises her arms in the air as Maisie stares hard at her, both keep their cool to return to their corners, it's clear though that Maisie is bugged that she couldn't keep on top of her opponent as easily as she clearly thought she would.

Round 3:
Trading more jabs to start as both have been told off going head first into a brawl, Maisie starts to relax a little as she can start moving more, with Lacey catching her with a short left across the jaw to make her think about things.

A straight catches Maisie into her chin, she gets knocked back to the ropes as two cross punches slam across her face, Maisie tries to fire back as the fighters slug it out, Lacey shoves her rival onto the ropes, then bangs away to the body with short hooks as she barks in effort.

Pushing Lacey to her face so she can get away from the ropes, a double jab smacks Turner to her face, Smith looking to create space so she can regain her rhythm, Lacey is keeping on the front foot, pushing the tempo with both women slamming in straight shots to the others face, a trickle of blood starts to run from the redheads bottom lip as she suffers a cut from a right cross.

Dipping under a right cross, Maisie is able to land a short right to the body, an overhand left then slams into the ear of her opponent, Lacey is driven back to the middle of the ring, the bell rings to end the round with both giving the other a shove, eyes full of fire as years of pent up aggression to their opponent is being released, referee nudging them back to their corners.

Round 4:
Starting off wanting to make Lacey respect her, Maisie isn't using her jab as much as she was, allowing Lacey an easier time to duck under hooks then counter with overhand punches that turn the head of Smith, AN UPPERCUT CATCHES MAISIE ON THE CHIN TO SEND HER DOWN TO HER BACK!

Lacey smirks as she tells Maisie "you should have stayed playing with the kids bytch" then heads to the neutral corner, 1...2...3.. Maisie blinks as tries to clear her vision, 4...5...6.. Maisie gets up to her right knee, 7...8.. Then gets to her feet, fists raised as she tells the referee she wants to fight on.

Back together come the fighters as Lacey tries to come on the attack, with a left cross/straight catching her as the veteran tries to close the distance, Maisie knocking back Lacey as she shows she isn't too badly hurt, a left hook slams across the cheek of Smith to turn her head.

Final moments of the round sees both lock up drilling punches into each others body, grinding foreheads together as they fight in a phonebooth, at the bell they push apart, Maisie looking ready to scream as she returns to her corner, Emma giving her a talking to as Maisie nods as she cools off, Lacey thuds her gloves together wanting to be back at her rival.

Round 5:
Slamming punches into their opponent's face from the off, Lacey lands a left/right hook combo to the body of Maisie, who uses her right forearm to shove back Lacey, roughing up their opponent as both push their rival back then open up on them before suffering themselves.

A missed straight by Turner leaves her open to a counter right to her eye, Lacey cries out as she is being bullied back towards the ropes, Maisie landing a short uppercut to snap back the head, causing Lacey to clinch up with Maisie, not enjoying being hammered by her rival.

Broken apart by the referee, they trade stiff single shots, Maisie grimacing when her bottom lip gets hit clean, another left hook catches Lacey around her eye, making the brunette whine out as her eye is starting to swell, with Maisie knocking back Lacey to a neutral corner.

Final moments Lacey is shelling up as Maisie is throwing a barrage towards her, several punches go through the guard of Turner to knock her head back, when the round ends Lacey shakes her head as she stares at Maisie, who bangs her gloves together as if in a warning for Lacey of what is to come, both sitting on their stools getting patched up.

Round 6:
The fighters are groaning when they get hit clean, a right misses from Lacey with a left hook crashing into her eye, Lacey cries out as she is being hammered back, a straight knocks Lacey onto her heels, AN UPPERCUT THEN A LEFT HOOK SENDS LACEY STUMBLING DOWN TO THE CANVAS ON HER FRONT!

Maisie stares hard at Lacey before she heads to the neutral corner, banging her gloves together as looks ready to charge Lacey down, 1...2...3.. Lacey blinks as she tries to clear her head, 4....5... Slowly crawling to the ropes, 6...7.. She misses them when she reaches out, 8.. Badly dazed as 9...10 she is counted out!

Winner Maisie Smith KO Round 6

After:
Another impressive victory for Maisie, who walks over to Lacey with eyes full of anger, she presses her right foot into the back of Lacey, pressing her to the canvas with her arms flexed, yelling "so much for you being the top bytch on the EastEnders set! You can kiss my arse" Emma instead leading her away as she hugs Maisie, telling her that she did a great job.

Lacey groans as she is helped up to her knees by one of her corner team, Katie just shaking her head looking annoyed that Lacey has lost again, she turns her back on her fighter and heads off to the back, showing tough love to Lacey or simply doesn't care what state she is in by the looks of things.

Looking around for Katie, Lacey throws her gloves to the canvas when she gets to sit on her stool, fuming that she is being treated this way, she was once a contender for the bantamweight title, now she is being treated like an afterthought by her own manager.

Maisie grins as she sees Lacey's reaction, getting wiped down as some of her own blood dripped onto her breasts from her cut lip, Emma and Maisie chatting more friendly then they did after Maisie was put down, with Emma proud of her protégé as Maisie seems to have found real momentum now.

After both women after cleaned up they head to the middle of the ring, Maisie gets her right hand raised in victory as Lacey glares at her, before the beaten fighter says "lucky bytch" loud enough for Maisie to hear, Maisie asks "excuse me?" As she pulls her arm away from the referee, Lacey making it clear she heard her as both women step together, slaps are exchanged as both have to be pulled apart, even as the crowd chants to let them fight.

This is clearly not over between them as Lacey tells Maisie "I'll f**king get you back you ginger brat!" With Maisie simply replying with a middle finger salute, Lacey storms out the ring as this has been an awful night for her, fists clenched as you'd hate to be someone getting in her way right now.

Maisie on the other hand has other fish to fry, flexing her arms for the cameras, she has a serious look as she says "you're f**king next Lottie!" As she makes the challenge clear that she wants Lottie Moss for the Boxing day PPV, the grudge fight that has been growing for months between the two new prospects.

Leaving the ring with Emma, tonight is all about getting the job done in the ring, though whether Maisie is in much of a mood to celebrate as she walks to the back, Emma letting the youngster have a moment to herself as she doesn't say a word.
