5. Megan Fox vs Kate Beckinsale II

Megan:
(34, 5’4, 114, 66:30:1 FCBA, VIXENs)

Kate:
(47, 5’7, 61:41:3 FCBA, VIXENs)

BEFORE:
“I’d bet many people were surprised when this fight was announced, least of all, yours truly,” Megan speaks first from the press conference. “I’ve always wanted that rematch against Kate, but ever since she joined VIX, she’s been nothing but kind and supportive to us girls. I felt bad asking for a match against my boss, you know?”

The room chuckles, as Megan continues. “But she said ‘Yes’. Didn’t even blink an eye or consider her own route to the Hall-of-Fame. And here we are. Regardless of who wins, it’s gonna be one step closer for us.”

Kate’s nodding along this entire time, the 47-year-old Brit soon pushing the halfway mark to a century but still looking sensational in her long black satin dress on stage.

“It’s only fair to Megan. I beat her WAY back in 2009, and then we’ve kept off each other’s radars? Why? She’s an excellent fighter, an ex-Flyweight champion, and you know the rest of the works. She deserves much better than how she’s been treated in the past, I think, both by Hollywood and past management.”

The main-event here features two Vixens, and naturally, they’re a little more cordial in each other’s presence. Megan and Kate shake hands on stage and embrace, before posing casually for the cameras and leading each other backstage with an arm wrapped around the waist.

Fight night and unfortunately, Megan and Kate still have to go their separate ways and throw down with their fists after the bell has rung. Beckinsale in a white top cut off at the midsection, with short black shorts and cowboy boots. She’s in red gloves for this contest. Megan wears her lucky-charm black bikini, its tiny strings frayed over the years as she strides down the ramp, waving amorously to the crowds.

Referee gets a nod from both corners - HERE WE GO with ten rounds of Bantamweight action! This match is a stepping stone for both women on the road to the Hall-of-Fame!

ROUND 1:
Some would say a good reason why Fox lost the last time was due to her three-inch height disadvantage. Others would confirm that theory and say that Fox hasn’t fared that well against anyone a little taller than her in the past, losing to Rosie-Huntington Whiteley and then Amber Heard in her last few attempts at punching above her weight. She tries a second time tonight against Kate Beckinsale, but keeps her distance, focused on intercepting Kate’s early attacks as the VIX boss strides in early to test out one of her own in the ring. Beckinsale’s jabbing at the shorter woman plenty but scoring far less, her punches mostly hitting Fox’s arms before getting countered with short but effective snap jabs to the face. Fox may be technically fighting her boss but that ain’t stopping her from pulling any punches, focusing on that right hand to deliver crisper shots to the Brit’s nose and lips. End result is a wide round to Fox, though some might say Kate was probably going easy on her ward by not charging in fully.

ROUND 2:
That myth is quickly dispelled, however, in the second, as HERE COMES KATE, moving hard and fast inwards as she throws bigger and faster combos towards Megan before stunning her with a fast jab combo to the forehead and another low hook to the tummy. Beckinsale uses her longer legs and wider stride to keep the pressure on Fox, hemming her in against the ropes as Fox does her best to skirt out of trouble but takes damage along the way, Beckinsale having free reign to land shots to her sides and ribs before catching her on the side of the head with a dull hook to end the long exchange. Fox is in trouble for sure if she can’t keep her distance, but at least she manages to keep up the pace of her jab combos sent back to disrupt Kate’s advance for the rest of the round. Close round overall goes to the VIX head-honcho, who silences the critics that she’s going easy on her girl.

ROUND 3:
Lest we forget, BOTH these women want to get into the Hall-of-Fame, and Beckinsale herself has been embroiled in a Best-of-Five war with McCarthy most recently to clear the way forever. It’s a big risk taking on a rematch against Fox, but so far, the Brit is doing a good job of keeping up with the former Flyweight champ, stomping inwards to control the space before rocking Fox to the middle of the arms with straight crosses and combos. Fox in a dilemma as she absorbs and absorbs, not sure whether to charge in to dismantle her opponent or turn tail and run, keeping her distance (and the rest of her body) safe and sound. Her indecision leads to multiple punches forced in between the arms, Kate shocking her to the lips and middle of her stomach before earning herself another wide victory at the bell, celebrating with a taunt of her own: “COME ON, MEGAN. THAT ALL YOU GOT??”

ROUND 4:
Fox narrows her brow and comes back into the action with renewed purpose, surprisingly choosing to meet Kate in the center of the ring when the bell rings to start. Kate delighted, THROWING a lot of ammunition towards her fellow Vixen, but mostly hits the arms and her hardened abs. Fox takes and takes the abuse before suddenly whipping out fast and short attacks of her own, STUNNING Kate with a hook across her face before another swipe is sent across her chest and body for good measure. Beckinsale grunting, getting pushed back, forced back on the defensive even as she continues pounding and swinging away at the oncoming Fox. Megan has her defences down pat, however, keeping her face hidden in her arms before torqueing those shoulders left and right, yet another thump delivered to the belly, which throws Kate’s defenses wide open! Both ladies scored well this round, but Megan finally takes the healthiest round for herself, looking satisfied with her performance as she raises a hand back to the corner!

ROUND 5:
Kate refuses to go down without a fight, however, and repays the Vixen early in the fifth by staying far away from her advancing form, then pestering her with multiple jabs that stop Megan in her tracks. Fox can’t keep up with the absorption forever, of course, grunting as another one-two combo is shoved into her lips when she chose to break formation at the wrong time. End result is both women circling and pawing at each other for the middle minute, Fox looking for an opening but finding nothing but punishment to the face and chest whenever she tries to make a sudden move forward. Kate certainly is no saint either but at least she’s playing to her strengths, though the action erupts in the final seconds when Fox finally decides to charge in and go swinging wildly at her body and arms. Both ladies end up in a messy clinch but instinctively separate at the bell and referee’s instructions. “Good punch,” Kate says, with a sly smile, to which Fox merely smirks back with a nod.

ROUND 6:
Megan continues her attack, using her youthful energy to push Kate about the ring early. Kate grunts as she’s attacked by more and more combos slammed into her arms, Megan head-hunting and betting on the fact Beckinsale can’t go the full ten rounds with her, not at her age. Kate eats another one-two to the mouth and gets momentarily stunned, but as Megan tries to CHARGE in to finish her off, she shows the Vixen who’s boss with a counter overhand that smacks off the top of Megan’s head with a mutual grunt. Fox gets thrown back, shaking her head, has to contend with a couple more punches tossed at her head as Kate tries to go on the counteroffensive, but the two women are too busy catching their breaths, exchanging smaller jabs to end off the sixth.

ROUND 7:
Kate’s clearly running out of steam at the start of the seven, breathing hard as she takes only a few steps out of her corner. Megan gives her some space to start, but quickly ramps up the punishment as she rocks another cross hand into the middle of the Brit’s arms. Fox plays to her strengths, relentlessness, storming in and battering the Brit to her arms to drive her back into the ropes over and over, each time nailing Kate further with a straight hand to the nose or lips. Kate’s trying to fight back, of course, stay the course, but Megan is easily avoiding any of her wild counterswings or swishes, groans as Fox ducks and weaves, buries another right hand clean into her tummy. Kate’s back is skirting the ropes as the older Brit hovers and covers up, trying to survive this onslaught, but Fox DINGS! another hook off the side of the head, sees the opening and STRIKES! Right hook catches Beckinsale off the chin and DOWN KATE GOES!! It’s a well-earned KNOCKDOWN for Megan Fox, and Kate looks absolutely gassed out as she spreads her arms out on either side of her head. Referee grants her the formal 10-count but the Brit ain’t moving! He hits the count of 10 and WAVES the rest of this fight off!

Official Decision: Megan Fox defeats Kate Beckinsale via KO7!

AFTER:

Fox raises her arms high as she soaks in the loud ROAR of the crowd! This is her 99th fight, and she continues to march over past opponents who have wronged her before! She doesn’t spent too much time gloating, of course, walking over to Kate moments after and kneeling down to check on her boss’ status.

Kate’s regained consciousness, though having some difficulty getting her head off the mat. She manages a small, reassuring smile when she notices Fox staring down at her with concern. Later, backstage, the two women congratulate the other on a well-fought match - they’ve certainly given it their all tonight!
