BEFORE: "I've heard a lot of positives about Caylee so I'd like to know if she's the real deal or not!", Nina Dobrev explains her decision to challenge a largely unheralded busty blonde from the mysterious Left Turn Knockouts stable. BLONDE! Magazine claims Caylee is best suited to follow Sydney Sweeney's instant JMD elite path but apparently the Los Angeles native has other ideas for the time being. Accepting Dobrev's challenge looks extremely premature on paper but if she somehow defeats the former bantamweight champion tonight, she's gonna shoot up the glamour market overnight so it's definitely a high risk/high reward strategy. Let's see how this one plays out!

Nina Dobrev wears a purple bikini set with black trim & silver gloves. Long dark brown hair tied in a high ponytail. Caylee Cowan wears a black bandeau bikini set & red gloves. Long blonde hair tied in a curled ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the bantamweight division.

Round 1:
Caylee jumps into a trigger-happy assault and flicks several good punches into the brunette's face which triggers a hectic exchange in the center of the ring. Both women refuse to yield an inch and Caylee wins all the praise when she rattles the former champion up the middle and secures a ruthless connection with her chin. Nina's head snaps back several times and forces the Canadian back while Caylee jumps after her with a mean spark in her eye and clobbers the reeling brunette onto the ropes. Ugh! Nina just couldn't escape the slugging pounce and ends up hugging the ropes as Cowan cleans up her breadbasket to take the opening round wide!

Rounds 2 & 3:
Nina battles back into contention by the virtue of shutting the blonde down in the proverbial phone booth. Caylee struggles to stretch her elbows and soaks up a steady jug muggin' assault along the way as Nina uses her experience to drop the buxom foe into significant trouble. Caylee gets chaotic in response and crashes off Dobrev's forearms too often to make a difference before she gets pounded back to the turnbuckle where Nina pays back the body assault favor. More of the same in the third - just add a stray heabutt that leaves Cowan trapped on the ropes much sooner this time... she slugs back at the older woman but Nina barks in her slugging efforts and keeps the blonde pinned in the corner before slumping her into loud spasms when she tackles the impressive cleavage late in the third.

Round 4:
Caylee stuns the former champion with a scything double on the chin and resumes the head-hunting pounce before Nina can adjust her stance. She cracks a left hook on the jaw that spins the brunette to the side and rips a booming hook on her chest almost by accident. She aimed elsewhere according to Tess Valmore in the booth but she still pierces Dobrev's solar plexus and shockingly sends her DOWN ONTO HER KNEES in the process! Uh-oh!! How about this then? Caylee walks back to her corner shaking her head in disbelief while Nina wisely takes the count all the way until eight before getting back upright. She gives the blonde rival a long death stare afterwards but allows Cowan to run the action from the front and applies the Odette Yustman bendy special which literally defaults the round but prevents further damage as Caylee's knockout hassle proves fruitless!

Round 5:
Caylee knows this is her chance to take a shortcut into stardom and she lets it fly early in the fifth while Nina hangs back in mid-range and seems keen to allow the blonde upstarts have all the fun during the opening minute. The only problem is, Caylee just can't land her shots on target and punishes the Canadian with single drills. She keeps coming at The CW starlet yet she just can't plug her with a similar piledriver anymore and gets dragged into a lenghty phone booth action when she runs out of gas late to trigger Nina's jabbing rally against the run of play. It's not enough to steal the round outright but some fans still enjoy the sight of Cowan's boobs bouncing underneath Dobrev's power supply!

Round 6:
Caylee tries to stay in the hot lane but swings over Nina's head with her initial burst and gets caught on the nose before the older actress adds a booming shot on the chin to make the blonde groan out in noticeable pain! Ugh! Nina goes for rapid fire blast now that Caylee wobbles to her heels and rips a left hook on the ear followed by another vicious shot on the nose. Caylee spins to the side and slumps forward with a whimper just as the LCA fighter NUKES her exposed solar plexus with a brutal right hand. Ugh! Cowan crashes DOWN ON HER KNEES and we have a swift replay of what happened in the fourth round. However Caylee slumps on all fours and tries to frantically catch her breath while the merciless count quickly reaches seven... eight... still down... NINE... oh, noes.. TEN!!! Caylee remains on all fours and spits out her gumshield as she simply can't inject enoug oxygen into her lungs anymore. Shocking KO6 Nina Dobrev in upset-avoiding come-from-behind fashion!!!

AFTER: Nina gives the kneeling blonde a long stare and tells coach Eva Mendes to take it easy as well. Talk about a hard grinder of a win - BLONDE! Magazine indicates the former champion got really lucky she managed to take the 'W' and Caylee will only improve from here. However there might be one obvious problem that prevents Cowan from copying the Sydney Sweeney championship script - she simply can't go down so easily after getting whacked in the chest like that. That's a huge no-no in JMD competition! But other than that - she's ready for more prime time action!
