Fiona Wade vs Mandy Capristo

BEFORE: Both these women have big aspirations and even though Emmerdale's Fiona Wade sits below .500 she made her FCBA debut earlier this year and hopes to steal more headlines back in the old country. Meanwhile Mandy Capristo is buried on the Lioness Club depth chart and was reportedly manhandled time and time again by new sensation Ewelina Lisowska back in the Barnet gym over the summer. BBU TV's Charlie Webster claims Mandy has lost the mental edge based on these sparring results and has to build her reputation from the scratch but trainer Mel B. dismisses that report as "pure hogwash". 

Fiona Wade wears a black bikini set & yellow gloves. Shoulder lenght raven-black hair straight. Mandy Capristo wears a red bikini set & silver gloves. Long dark blonde hair tied in a custom ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the flyweight division.

Round 1:
Mandy's the younger fighter but Fiona is more aggressive as she crashes into the singer's body and thumps the exposed tummy to gain the initial upperhand. Mandy swings over the top but fails to register a meaningful combo and has to fend off more body assault as the smaller actress keeps pounding away in utmost fury. And Fiona hurts Mandy in the process signalled by some loud yelps that force the German back down the stretch. Ugh! That's never a good sign when a fighter backpedals so quickly but Fiona wants more and leaps after the reeling foe with some additional jabbing volume. She smacks Capristo on the lips and controls the action along the ropes in the final minute thumping the midsection on speed dial while Mandy can only clinch her to limit the damage.

Round 2:
More swarming aggression gives Fiona another immediate breakthrough as Mandy simply looks vulnerable out there leaking punches from both flanks. Meanwhile Wade barks in her efforts and cleans out all the German flesh she can before blasting a wild uppercut on the jaw that sinks Capristo into loud spasms once again. Ugh! Mandy fires back and catches the top of the brunette's forehead but Fiona counters from the inside and NAILS the singer flush on the jaw with a big right hand!!! DOWN GOES MANDY!!! Huh! Stunning knockdown puts the Emmerdale hype back ON as Fiona gloats over the floored opponent who gathers her thoughts while kneeling on all fours!!! Mandy extends the count all the way until eight and she's back on her feet but gets trapped on the ropes almost immediately as the tiny Brit goes for the kill... and misses on her pounce! She bounces off the blonde's forearms and eats a seemingly stray hook on the nose with Mandy shrieking in her comeback attempt that enables her to punch the brunette back to center of the ring and escape the looming disaster!

Round 3:
Mandy escaped the swift demise in the second and she's turning the counter-punching heat on with Fiona rolling out the haymaker buzz herself. She drops the body assault ideas and simply wants to knock Mandy's head off but gets sucked into a back & forth jabbing tirade which helps the singer to find her range down the stretch. Messy action in the second minute as both women clash heads in the proverbial phone booth before Capristo nails the smaller woman with several crisp shots to the body. Wade spins out of the jam but has a hard time working her slugs in mid-distance and gets outpointed into a standstill with Mandy still looking too desperate to rise above the knockdown funk according to Charlie Webster in the booth!

Rounds 4 & 5:
Fiona hassles the younger woman but Mandy turns on the lithe moves to stay clear of more slugging trouble and finds more success looping shots over the top which only frustrates the exotic Brit into unneccessary madness along the way. Fiona verbally taunts the German but finds no bite and gets picked off too often when she tries to slug it right into Mandy's face. This approach worked well in the early stages but Fiona is losing the proverbial zip with every minute and gets trapped on the ropes late in each round with Mandy still looking a bit cagey but those blows into the brunette's gut carry enough power to slow Wade right down before the clean-up work allows Capristo to steal the artistic impression value. She doesn't offer that haymaker punch but leaves Fiona arguing with the ref over some mythical low punch that wasn't spotted by anyone inside the Cardiff Arena.

Round 6:
Mandy stuns Fiona with a nasty left/right combo on the nose and catches her from the inside again as the brunette's chin gets exposed all of the sudden before a slugging push has both women trading vicious leather in the center of the ring. Fiona goes back to where she feels at ease and nails the German on the nose a couple of times but then eats a stunner on the ear and wobbles to the side just as Capristo rips a left hook on the liver area AND DROPS THE EMMERDALE BABE ONTO HER KNEES!!! Ugh! That one even caught Mel B. by surprise but it's Fiona who has to soak up the pain and she barely does so getting up at eight... she stumbles forward with a whimper but indicates she's good to go... okay, dear... let's see what you've got!!! Ref nods back to Mandy who ROARS with a left/right combo and thumps a wild hook on the brunette's ear before an uppercut on the jaw BACKFLIPS FIONA DOWN ON THE CANVAS again!!! Oh, Lord!!! That's a keeper for your highlight reel, everyone! Fiona is down and out!!! KO6 Mandy Capristo in come-from-behind fashion!!!

AFTER: Mandy yells out at her entourage and circles around the fallen actress who is left totally dazed and unresponsive down on the boards. Fiona doesn't even feel Mandy planting her foot on her chest but this was a truly vicious knockout that erased all the "Capristo is finished" buzz for the time being. However Charlie Webster indicates that Mandy struggled to embrace the early slugging from someone three inches smaller and eleven years older so there's a lot to ask for if the German singer wants to consider herself an elite prospect. It's just not going to cut it among the very best - and that includes her own Lioness stable!
