Intro:
Next up veteran Elena Santarelli tries to stop the unbeaten run of Sasha Luss here tonight in the BBU Arena, can the Italian upset the Russian tonight?

Elena is 38 years old, she stands 6'0, holding a record of 4 wins, all coming by way of knockout, with 9 defeats.

Sasha is 27 years old; she stands 5'10 ½, holding an undefeated record of 1 win, that coming by way of knockout.

Anna Woolhouse interviewed both fighters in their locker rooms before the fight, first entering the Italians room first to see Elena sitting chatting to her coach on tactics.

After seeing the interviewer; Elena stands up to talk to her, telling Anna "great to see you, I always loved this arena and it is sad I don't get to see it more often, maybe after I deal with Sasha you'll see more of me"

Smiling Elena continues "I mean I hear what people said about Sasha's debut, she didn't look that impressive to me, I know my reach and strength will give her problems, she'll see what a real opponent looks like"

The coach thanks Anna for giving Elena a chance to speak their mind, politely though they tell Anna is it time to go so they can begin the warm up.

Which is going on in Sasha's locker room, she is shadow boxing with music going, Anna is waved in by the coach when Sasha is finished up.

Stretching as she speaks to Anna; Sasha says "I was happy enough with my debut, I need to get better though if people are to really take me serious as a future champion"

Patting her abs before she says "look I am fit as anyone in this division, I know how to box so I am not worried about that, only issue for me is how quickly I can knock these bytches out so I can get that shot at Krsmanovic"

Asked about Elena, Sasha dismisses her as she answers "she is just a punch bag to me, I have seen women I know I am more talented then deal with her easily, so this is just ring experience for me fighting someone with a longer reach"

Fighting time; out comes Elena with her coach beside her, she throws a few punches on the way down the aisle, telling her coach she is ready to remind the world who she is.

She is wearing a baby blue sports bra, matching trunks with a white waistband, blue shoes, white gloves and her hair is tied back into a ponytail.

Climbing into the ring; Elena is all business now as she goes through her warm up routine, her coach talking to her about what to expect from Sasha.

Who now comes out with her coach beside her, Sasha looks intense as she heads towards the ring, thudding her gloves together.

She is wearing a red sports bra with black trim, red trunks with a black waistband, red shoes with black trim, black gloves and her hair is braided.

Stepping into the ring with a wave to the fans, once in her corner she is shadow boxing to warm up as her eyes are locked across the ring onto her opponent.

The fighters are brought to the center of the ring, where Elena looks down upon Sasha, who to her credit doesn't back down to the taller woman.

They swipe their gloves together to show they are more interested in getting started then respect, once back into their corners, the bell is rung to start 10 rounds of welterweight action.

Round 1:
Coming out there corners, Elena is trying to control the range straight away, slinging out jabs towards the head of Sasha, while moving around the outside of the ring.

Most punches don't land though as Sasha ducks to dodge, the Russian once she sees an opening she drives a straight into the abs of Santarelli.

Stepping in close; Sasha forces her opponent into a heated exchange, Elena needing to shove back the smaller fighter after she nearly takes a headbutt to her chin.

Angrily Elena comes firing at Sasha, catching her off guard with a jab/straight into the top of her head, backing up the younger woman as she gets more aggressive.

A missed right hook though leaves Elena open to an overhand left to her jaw, Sasha bashes back the veteran towards the ropes as Luss's coach roars her on.

Elena stuck behind her guard as Sasha keeps in tight to her, mainly hooks coming around the elbows of the Italian to her body to make the taller fighter groan out.

At the bell Sasha jogs back to her corner, Elena looks angry at herself as she returns back to her own corner, sitting on their stools staring across at each other.

Round 2:
Bouncing on her toes; Elena is trying to be more mobile, keeping Sasha at arms length with her jab to start off the round.

Sasha moving her head to try to dodge, but Elena is reading her movement more, catching the younger fighter to her face or side of her side.

Till Sasha starts feinting more, then she moves around a jab and landing a left under the ribs, an uppercut catching Elena on the chin to knock her backwards.

Suddenly Elena finds herself being bashed back again, Sasha sticking to the body till she is clinched up, Elena trying to grapple Sasha into the ropes as the referee tries to break them apart.

Once the fighters are separated, Elena matches to keep Sasha back as she moves side to side, most of her punches landing on gloves, she is stopping Sasha attacking her.

At the bell Elena looks happier she was able to keep Sasha at length, though Sasha doesn't look worried as she sits on her stool smiling to her coach.

Round 3:
Coming out their corners, Elena sticks trying to be mobile, Sasha though is moving more aggressively, slipping a straight as she steps inside the reach of the taller fighter.

A right buries into the abs of the veteran, Elena groans out and tries to match Sasha for work rate, its Sasha who is landing the better punches.

Ducking a left cross; Sasha lands an uppercut that snaps back the head of Elena, AN OVERHAND LEFT SENDS ELENA TUMBLING DOWN TO HER SIDE!

Pumping her right fist into the air as she jogs to a neutral corner, a smile on Sasha's face as she stares at Elena, 1...2...3...4.. Who shakes her head as she sits up against the ropes, 5...6... Elena grabs the ropes to help herself up, 7...8.. Getting to her feet with a little wobble to her step.

Elena is allowed to continue, she is firing out her jabs again as she boxes off the back foot, while Sasha stalks her around the outside of the ring.

When Sasha gets in tight to land, Elena pulls her into a clinch, wanting more time to recover, the referee breaks them apart.

Soon the round ends with Sasha pounding her chest before jogging back to her corner, exciting as she knows she hurt Elena, who is getting washed down by her corner, trying to get Elena back in this fight.

Round 4:
Sasha is on the hunt for Elena, feinting as she moves side to side, making Elena stare hard as she tries to work out where the attack is coming from.

Instead Elena tries to get at Sasha, missing with a left hook though as the Russian dodges before landing a left into the liver of Santarelli, who groans out and bends over.

Two hooks catch Elena across her face, stumbling back towards the ropes, A RIGHT HOOK TO THE JAW OF ELENA SENDS HER SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!

Smirking at Elena; Sasha raises her fists in the air as she jogs to the neutral corner, 1...2...3...4.. Elena crawls over to the ropes, 5...6...7.. Elena tries to pull herself to her feet, 8... But she slips back to her face, 9...10 that's all for the fight!

Winner Sasha Luss KO Round 4

After:
A dominant performance from Sasha tonight, she poses in the corner with her hands on her hips, her supporters cheering her.

While Elena needs to be helped up to her feet by her coach, she still looks shaky as needs the ropes to hold her up, Elena staring at the canvas angrily as she comes fully around to what happened.

Across the ring now back in her corner, Elena gets washed down on her stool, her coach trying to console her as they talk about what happened, Elena understandably upset how she performed tonight.

Sasha on the other hand is of course looking happy, her gloves getting taken off by her coach, the coach telling Sasha that was impressive, they want more of this going forwards.

When the fighters come to the center of the ring, Elena has her head down as Sasha gets her hand raised by the referee, the blonde roaring to the ceiling before grinning to her fans.

Elena leaves the ring with her coach behind her, she looks broken right now as she fights back tears, this will be hard to overcome for her.

Inside the ring Sasha heads to a camera, saying "watch out world I am coming for your best" smiling as she then moves to leave the ring.

Jogging up the aisle with her coach beside her, Sasha telling them "just keep lining them up" the coach chuckling as they head to the back.
