Manuela Arcuri vs Elisabetta Gregoraci

BEFORE: It's time for some Italian supremacy battle as former BBU lightweight champion Manuela Arcuri squares off against the hard-hitting Elisabetta Gregoraci. Both models were pretty vocal on social media in recent weeks with Gregoraci doing most of the bullying. She knocked the stuffing out of genuine welter Alex Gerrard last time and vows to demolish the fellow model who has really struggled for results even since losing the Latin Union support. Moreover Elisabetta thinks she's superior to Belen Rodriguez who starred on the Copacabana beach last week and emerged as the next challenger to champion Alessandra Ambrosio. Elisabetta missed her shot at the straps last year and finds it annoying that Arcuri joined the BBU line-up several years before her which enabled her to become a lineal champion in the early days of the organization: "Just bad timing, folks! Everyone knows I'm the superior woman and I feel sorry for Manuela already!"

Round 1:
Elisabetta takes extra pride in her power-punching tactics so she simply lashes out at the older brunette trying to knock her head off inside the opening minute already! Manuela knows the drill and responds with a proper body attack on her own but just can't blast Gregoraci's boobs during a hectic JMDD-like approach while she gets tagged on the chin a little too often to feel comfortable instead. Elisabetta remains glued to the head-hunting attack but lacks that one big punch and suddenly she stumbles forward when Arcuri lands that harpoon on the solar plexus amid a back & forth slugging struggle. Cue in the follow up and Eli's head snaps back as Manuela takes over with the aerial guns to land immediate punishment on both temples which reel the younger model backwards. Neither woman is a speed demon across the canvas so the late pursuit from Manuela goes south but she's survived the opener here in good style which actually surprises Charlie Webster in the BBU TV booth.

Round 2:
More head-hunting attacks from Gregoraci during the opening minute but Arcuri blocks them off before trying to stack a JMDD-like response into the fellow brunette's cleavage. Elisabetta barks in anger after another hook bounces off the top of Manuela's shoulder but she has to adjust to the jug muggin' ideas sooner or later... Manuela leans forward and almost head-butts her foe before ripping a left cross on jaw that wobbles Elisabetta backwards. Another wild swing finds the nose and bends the younger brunette to the side which allows Arcuri to smack her downstairs and drop onto the ropes. Gregoraci tries to swing back but the slugging Manuela keeps her honest and lands more head strikes to dominate the back & forth exchange against the odds. She tears a small bloody patch above the left eye and stuns the crowd into silence when she nails Elisabetta hard on the lips to make the Calabrian model shout in panic right at the bell. Huh! If anyone expected a Gregoraci whitewash here in this bout then it's been anything but that thus far!

Round 3:
Manuela feels like she can really score the upset here and charges into another body-busting attack that leaves Elisabetta covering up in numbers. Even the partisan audience seems shocked to see the power-hitter dumped into a hectic defense like that but Arcuri just lays it into her in the middle of the ring and seeks immediate profits. Gregoraci bails out into mid-range where she starts to mount her comeback but the former champion still delivers the JMDD wrath even though the single punches seem to lose their cutting edge and Gregoraci recovers well enough to flick a couple of promising hooks upstairs that finally tame the Arcuri attack. Manuela still wants to control the fight from the front and racks up more speedy punches on the guts which force Gregoraci into a clinching delay; both women struggle for power until Eli throws her opponent onto the ropes and rallies with a late gut-checking series alas Manuela has the last laugh as she whacks her foe on the liver area and leaves the younger brunette slumped against her waist at the bell.

Round 4:
The upset is ON! Manuela romps clear into pounding Elisabetta's ribcage and stuffs the younger brunette on her heels while leaving visible bruises on the flesh. She keeps digging her mitts on target before tagging the chest as well with Eli dropping back but still ending up butt-in-ropes in a hurry. She swings back but misses the target again and folds under pressure. She begins to moan in pain which only fuels Arcuri's attacks, a wayward shot catches the hip so Manuela pauses to adjust her stance... she rips a left cross on the nose and SENDS GREGORACI CRASHING DOWN to the side amid a wild ovation from the audience! How about that then? Elisabetta rolls onto all fours but makes it back onto her feet in time; Manuela gloats over the subdued woman but keeps her pinned on the ropes and tees off with more head-hunting damage. Gregoraci only tries to survive here but suffers from a leaking high guard anyway and gets sucked into a hooking vacuum with Arcuri opening another cut above the other eye and then blasting the aching foe with a jawbreaker-like punch. Ugh! Elisabetta goes all jelly knees here as her backside gets caught between the ropes, Manuela digs a left elbow onto her face just to find the range and SMOKES the fellow brunette with a vicious cross on the mouth that knocks the gumshield flying into the audience!!! And Gregoraci jack-knives to the floor with her eyes closed... she's outta her even before she crashes face-down at the fellow model's feet!!! KO4 Manuela Arcuri in Upset of the Month fashion!!!

AFTER: The Roman crowd errupts in joy as Manuela comes from a town just 70 km up the road from the capital so she has every right to celebrate with her entourage. She took Belen Rodriguez seven rounds before going down a couple of years ago and most of her losing streak is down to facing genuine welters. She's returned to the fold with a bang tonight which leaves Charlie Webster really surprised. Not many fans outside of Latium saw this result coming and now Manuela wants a piece of Elisabetta Canalis for the Italian Lightweight Title: "I'm still the BEST Italian lightweight, Elisabetta here had a nice little run but she's lucky I didn't break her jaw! Stay down, bytch! I want that other Elisabetta c### next! I should have battered her into a pulp long, long time ago but these English glamour models boosted my bank account so I looked elsewhere for opportunities. But I'm ready to claim my stock now! Canalis, you skinny little tramp, you can't hide from me anymore!"
