BEFORE: We kick off the Monday night action in Rome with the unbeaten local favorite Martina Stella going up against the Icelandic queen Heida Reed. Both girls are making a proper BBU comeback tonight and there's a real buzz in town that Martina can go places very soon if she overcomes the enigmatic talent from the North. Heida racked up three wins on the bounce back in 2017 but has been MIA since and there's not much coming from her camp ahead of this comeback effort which leaves the Italians all the room in the world to hype Martina's potential upside. BBU TV's Charlie Webster finds herself stuck in the bar for almost too long and she barely makes it back to the booth on time but we're ready to go and Martina's making some gestures as the steely-eyed opponent during the introductions already!

Martina Stella wears a navy blue bikini set & silver gloves. Long blonde hair tied in a curled ponytail. Heida Reed wears a red bikini set & blue gloves. Long dark brown hair tied in a thick bun at the back of her head. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the bantamweight division.

Round 1:
Martina channels her aggression to the point she sends plenty of jabs in the opening seconds whereas Heida refuses to buckle and rides the laid-back approach with her stubborn defense. She lets Martina bounce around from both flanks before lashing out on the counter-punching effort which finds more success in the process. Heida lands the single punches with a better execution and snaps Martina's head back; the crowd doesn't like it much but the blonde actress struggles to lock the ice queen down and gets dragged into a hectic shoving match along the ropes come the final minute. She drops to punish the brunette's midsection but Heida shoves her back and blows past her mitts with a nasty hook on the jaw right at the bell.

Round 2:
More of the same in the second, Martina rolls forward with some promising jabs before Heida tackles her on the overhand response and keeps sticking her mitts spot on target. Martina barks in her efforts but becomes too predictable with the head-hunting swing and leaks too many hits downstairs when Heida powers forward in her own right. A quick double cross staggers the local favorite on her heels and she gets beaten to the subsequent punch upstairs; Reed barges her with a stray elbow and traps the older actress on the turnbuckle where she drives in easy harpoons to the body with Stella unable to break free.

Round 3:
More jabbing success for Heida who takes over a mid-range dispute and clobbers Martina up the middle! Ugh! Coach Martina Colombari begins to lose her temper in the Azzuri corner but she can do little about Reed driving her mitts into the blonde's gut. Martina dekes and weaves on her feet alas she can't escape the brunette's methodical punishment and gets pounded back to the ropes where Reed just lays it into her to silence the crowd. Stella swings back over the top but only bounces off the top of the brunette's forehead and remains pegged back until a late clinching attempts tames the Icelandic attack. Ugh! Martina is clearly upset and argues with her coach during the interval while the tourist from up North keeps it all to herself instead.

Round 4:
Martina dominates the eary exchange but just can't rattle Heida enough despite plenty of effort; she switches low down the stretch but the brunette responds with a quick uppercut strike and wobbles the blonde with a big right hand on the mouth. Stella is upset again and tries to push off from her heels but gets staggered when the younger woman nails her on the mouth with repeated hooking blast. Ugh! Heida suddenly ups the tempo and closes her rival down in close range; Martina accepts the slugging feud and holds her own but gets smacked on the liver area and wobbles off her stance while Heida cracks another hook on the mouth to whip her back to the ropes. Martina tries to bolt away but eats a left hook on the jaw and half-spins to the turnbuckle amid a loud jeering series from the audience right at the bell.

Round 5:
Heida's counterpunching tames the charging Italian early in the fifth and suddenly Martina's blonde ponytail begins to fly around as the ruthless tourist connects with the jaw all too often... Stella responds with a single-strike assault but skims off the mitts repeatedly and gets drilled on the mouth one hit after another... Heida's glued to her face with a stunning rip and closes the local favorite down behind a tight earmuff before a clubbing hook on the liver sends Martina into spasms.. she lowers her guard immediately and gets SMOKED with a brutal uppercut on the jaw moments later... BLONDE GIRL DOWN!!! Disaster for the Roman audience and Martina barely beats the count at eight looking very woozy here... Heida steps right up to hammer more leather into the exposed midsection and clobbers the wilting blonde back to the ropes where she tears into her ribcage from both flanks and sinks Martina into even louder spasms... the proud Italian just can't shake the Icelandic nemesis off and is unable to even land a single punch in response WHICH FORCES THE REF TO STEP IN and save the day! Ugh! TKO5 Heida Reed!!!

AFTER: The partisan crowd is simply stunned over the sudden demise of a previously unbeaten blonde who collapses to her backside in the corner and has to be consoled by coach Martina Colombari. Heida poured not just cold water but a proper ice cold waterfall over the hot-blooded Mediterranean egos here tonight yet she refuses to say a word and only scans the crowd with her steely eyes as if she wants to find another opponent out there. BBU TV's Charlie Webster has some ideas on her own but maybe the bantamweight contenders' picture is a little too crowded for the Icelandic vixen to make immediate impact. However Heida might be a win or two away from some true big money fights so watch her progress!
