Jeanette Biedermann vs Tina O'Brien

BEFORE: Jeanette Biedermann returns to the ring as guest fighter on the Black Eagles Boxing undercard but she knows time is running out on her career if only she can rise above the ineviteable punchbag farewell reality. The Lioness Club swapped her aging talents for Ewelina Lisowska earlier this year but compatriot Gina Wild still thinks there's some fuel left in the tank as she gives her the edge over Sandy Moelling to face the long-time Coronation Street actress Tina O'Brien tonight. 

Tina has been dismissed as poor man's Samia Ghadie and she's very upset about that however she lost a direct battle versus the Mancunian stunner back in April and BBU TV's Charlie Webster claims she might have a hard time uppending the German singer on the road tonight as well.

Jeanette Biedermann wears a black bikini set & red gloves. Long blonde hair tied in a half-up ponytail. Tina O'Brien wears a white bikini set with blue trim and blue gloves. Long blonde hair tied in a curled ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the flyweight division.

Round 1:
Jeanette wants to pounce on this opportunity straight away and tackles the fellow blonde with a speed dial jabbing approach while Tina responds over the top triggering a hectic dispute in the center of the ring that immediately gets the crowd going as well. Jeanette pumps her mitts into Tina's body but eats a steady head-hunting response and wobbles to her heels when the Brit nails her on the nose before adding a nasty uppercut on the jaw. Jeanette tries to swing from the back foot but misses her target and has O'Brien blasting her from point-blank range instead. The plucky Brit keeps firing upstairs until she backs Biedermann onto the ropes where she punishes her with more head-hunting menace as the German's high guard collapses late and forces her to clinch the younger blonde to hang on for the bell.

Round 2:
Another high-tempo jabbing assault dominates the opening minute and this time Jeanette lands her shots much better as she snaps O'Brien's head back before blasting her on the jaw with a vicious uppercut double. Tina has to slug it back from her heels but gets outworked in the phone booth and begins to wince in pain when the singer nails her with additional juice that raises more crowd support inside the Lanxess Arena. Jeanette pounds away in fury and traps her opponent on the ropes but Tina slips away from more trouble and bangs a gut shot that halts the German's charge. Biedermann tries to track her down for remainder of the round but the Corrie blonde shows some wheels and hangs back in mid-distance safety despite the singer's best efforts.

Round 3:
Tina nails Jeanette with a huge left hook on the temple in the early stages and bangs quick fire assault up the middle that clips both jugs & chin and drops the German onto her heels while the Brit lashes out with more venom and glues her to the spot as she silences the Cologne audience in the process. Jeanette tries to swing back but catches the top of O'Brien's forehead and gets clubbed on the lips instead with Tina working on speed dial to drop the older blonde onto the ropes. She bundles the subdued foe right where she wants her and delivers another jabbing assault that dissects the ailing high-guard before a left uppercut on the jaw rattles Jeanette into loud spasms. She bends forward and soaks up another mighty uppercut on the jaw with Tina just missing the follow up shot that would have probably send the singer down for the count! Ugh! Bell saves Biedermann from looming disaster but Tina makes some gestures aimed at Gina Wild in the Eagles corner and Charlie Webster feels like the writing is on the wall here!

Round 4:
More close range slugging to open the fourth but Jeanette can only stop Tina's punches with her face and folds easily when the Corrie actress nails her with an uppercut double on target! Uh-oh! Jeanette tries to swing back instead of clinching her foe and pays the ultimate price as O'Brien SMOKES her with a left hook on the ear that SENDS THE LOCAL FAVORITE DOWN ON HER KNEES!!! Just too much punishment for the German veteran who sits down on her heels before getting up at eight. She nods back to the referee but Tina is all over her in a hurry and lands one cruel hook after another with the singer's guard unable to contain anything at this stage. Tina pounds the aching fellow blonde onto the ropes and keeps blasting her mitts aside until she lands a brutal piledriver on the nose that pulls the German plug for good. Jeanette bellows out onto the ropes with eyes closed and doesn't even see the last punch that tags her on the chin again! DOWN GOES BIEDERMANN!!! That's the second knockdown here and the singer simply faceplants at O'Brien's feet to remain spread eagle during the otherwise slowish count. It's all for naught as Tina O'Brien scores a convincing KO4 victory!!!

AFTER: There's a reason Gina Wild doesn't want to sign Jeanette into her stable and maybe she offers her a coaching staff role going forward but most of BBU pundits - Charlie Webster included - think that Biedermann is a totally shot fighter at this stage and should consider a retirement before things get really ugly. Meanwhile Tina O'Brien keeps making obscene gestures aimed at Gina Wild to the point another of the Eagles' flyweights Collien Fernandes enters the ring and issues a challenge to fight the Corrie babe "any time she wants to" next! Tina duly accepts the offer and vows to "destroy all these German skans one after another" before FCUK manager Katie Price shoves her away and heads over to Gina to discuss the details while BBU TV hits the ad break.

Final result: Tina O'Brien def. Jeanette Biedermann KO4.
