Sandy Moelling vs Elena Gheorghe

BEFORE: We're back for another flyweight tilt here in the Lanxess Arena and Sandy Moelling is one German that could express relief that Jeanette Biedermann got blasted out on the card's opener as her imminient Black Eagle Boxing future appears to be safe following that result. However BBU TV's Charlie Webster claims the former No Angels singer has been matched against a superior opponent as Elena Gheorghe vows to "f### this blonde bimbo up" and there's no denying she's very serious about it. 

Then again Sandy stopped the designated Romanian Invasion flyweight leader Inna back in August 2018 so technically those predictions about Elena being a superior fighter don't hold much ground other than her small sample size and a potential huge upside. There's every chance Gheorghe proves superior to Inna down the stretch but she needs to overcome the experienced Eagles opponent first!

Sandy Moelling wears a green bikini set & golden gloves. Long blonde hair tied in a sleek ponytail. Elena Gheorghe wears a leopard print one-piece swimsuit and red gloves. Long light brown hair in loose waves. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the flyweight division.

Round 1:
Sandy jumps in to stuff Elena in the center of the ring and she plucks one good shot after another busting the brunette in the guts before she swings over the top and nails the younger singer on the nose. Ugh! Elena stumbles to the side and before she knows it, the local favorite powers ahead with more head-hunting menace clubbing the Romanian onto the ropes amid wild cheers from the audience. She gets vocal as she lands her punches while Elena bellows out onto the ropes and can't even land a single strike back which only fuels the blonde's aggression. However Sandy runs out of steam just past the two-minute mark and allows the brunette to clinch her which stalls the promising opener right down. Ref tries to separate the two hellcats but Elena has none of that and even whacks her rival in the groin which she muscles the ref away for a good measure. The crowd doesn't like that at all but there's no time left on the clock for Sandy to punish her anymore.

Round 2:
Sandy flies in to resume the commanding attack but Elena finds her stride in the slugging exchange and matches the older singer punch for punch before she nails the blonde with a big overhand and makes Moelling wince in pain on the spot. Another wild hook finds the ear and stumbles the German to the side which allows the tourist to slice in with the unanswered body assault that further softens Sandy up! Uh-oh! Suddenly it all goes downhill for the hitherto dominant blonde who gets clobbered onto the ropes and eats one big hook upstairs after another; she has to clinch the fellow singer but Gheorghe shows supreme strenght and breaks free before nailing another uppercut on the jaw that folds Moelling behind a tight earmuff for remainder of the round. Gina Wild is furious in the Eagles corner as Sandy struggles to maintain that offensive burst and effectively brought the Romanian tourist back to life against the odds.

Round 3:
Elena anticipates another German attack and Sandy tries to enforce her jabbing guile but bounces off the high-guard too often to make it count and gets picked off over the top instead as the Romanian settles in nicely with a steady head-hunting attack. Sandy tries to up the work rate but struggles to split the brunette's mitts and loses her grip when Gheorghe accidentally head-butts her in the clinch. However Elena sells a low punch on the navel well and before Sandy can react she gets blasted on the jaw dropping on her heels in the process. Elena quickly mops her with more jabs and backs onto the ropes where she unloads more pesky jabs to keep the fellow singer shut down for remainder of the round.

Round 4:
Elena comes in hot with a left/right combo and Sandy's chin begins to take too much heat even for Gina Wild's liking. The local favorite can't find any respite in mid-distance either and eats more relentless jabs as she gets outworked in the center of the ring and simply has to yield real estate as Gheorghe guns for more head-snapping meance. She swivels Moelling onto the turnbuckle where she hauls in a proper jug muggin stamp to cripple the older woman and belts Sandy in the breadbasket for a good measure. Sandy struggles to swing back and bellows out into a hectic earmuff as Gheorghe piles on with the jabbing blast and splits the high guard to leave the blonde nursing a visibly swollen lips come the bell.

Round 5:
Sandy gets stranded early in the going and fails to even graze the brunette's flesh; Elena shows improved agility and bounces on her toes full of confidence before she digs deep to punish the blonde's guts again. Sandy slumps into a clinch and tries to wrestle her foe into a stalemate on the ropes but Elena shakes her off and rips a left hook on the liver area that makes the German gurgle in pain... the arms are slow to get up and the tourist SMOKES the ailing blonde on the chin THAT FOLDS HER DOWN ON HER KNEES!!! Elena punches the air in delight as Moelling tries to scramble back onto her feet. She's up at eight and a change but wobbles into the referee's embrace regardless and just can't shake that knockdown daze off! The fight is duly stopped as the woozy blonde has to be escorted back to her corner! TKO5 Elena Gheorghe!!!

AFTER: That's 0-fer-2 for the Eagles' hosts and Gina Wild is truly furious with such a pathetic display from Sandy who might well be living on borrowed time if only there was a suitable replacement for the struggling blonde woman. Beating Inna a little over two years ago seems like a high-water mark for Sandy who puts a towel over her head and tries to ignore Gina Wild and Collien Fernandes arguing what went wrong here. Meanwhile Elena claims she's actually the best Romanian flyweight in the BBU and it's only down to Inna's early career debut she's not valued as such by her peers and the BBU pundits. However the Romanian Invasion manager Corina Caragea refuses to follow through with a flyweight supremacy battle and believes Elena needs to shut down several other BBU veterans to really emerge as a high-class contender going forward.
