(Girls Friday vs Kear's Kat's)

Intro:
Here tonight in the Cooper Box in London, Maisie Williams and Jorgie Porter do battle as both want to be moving up the rankings towards title glory this year.

Maisie is 21 years old; she stands 5'1 and holds a record of 10 wins, all by knockout with 5 defeats.

Jorgie is 31 years old; she stands 5'2 and holds a record of 16 wins, 15 by knockout with 7 defeats.

These two were interviewed by Denise Van Outen for BBU TV in the build up for this contest, Maisie was up first in the hot seat.

First she was asked about how she feels going into this fight, Maisie smiles as she answers "well I'd love to have said with a win but obliviously I lost my last fight to Stella Hudgens, I have to just shake that off and come into this thinking positively"

Then she is asked how she thinks she can beat Jorgie, the youngster answers "I honestly believe I do what she does better, I'm faster and a better all round boxer to be frank"

The final question is about if she has her eyes firmly on this fight or thinking of the massive test of Lucy Hale in future?

Maisie gives a rye smile as she admits "that Lucy fight has me very excited, I mean she is a former FCBA champion but I have my eyes firmly on Jorgie, I can't lose going into the Hale fight can I?" Both women nodding at that.

Now it is Jorgie up; she looks in good spirits as she sits on the seat, Denise asking her about her feelings going into this fight.

"Maisie has the name value but I am confident I can school her in that ring, only now does she seem to be taking this boxing career serious" replies Jorgie with a confident grin.

When asked what gives her such confidence, Jorgie answers "I've been boxing a lot longer then her so I own her in that regard, I also have reach on her and frankly I've never seen anything to suggest she belongs in the ring with me"

The final question is what are her plans this year, Jorgie says "you know something, I am sick of being the forgotten girl of the flyweights, your man Tom at the Real View never mentions me on these girls to look out for, well this year I am going to take names and I hope titles"

Fight night; out comes Maisie with Sophia Bush and Eva Carneiro beside her, Maisie steps down the aisle with a focused look, while her coaching team seemed excited to see how she does tonight against good opposition.

She is wearing a red sports bra with white trim, matching trunks and shoes, white gloves with red thumbs, while her hair is in a ponytail.

After getting into the ring; Maisie jogs over to her corner, where she mounts the bottom rope to pose with her arms in the air, before hopping back down to warm up.

Now out comes Jorgie; the blonde bombshell has her coach Gail Kim beside her as she looks more cheerful of the two fighters.

She is wearing a baby blue sports bra, matching trunks and shoes, with white gloves, while her hair is also in a fighting ponytail.

Getting into the ring; Jorgie poses at the center of the ring before she turns to head to her corner, where she discusses tactics while warming up.

The fighters come together at the center of the ring, neither looks too worried about the other as they listen to the referee while bouncing on their toes.

They touch gloves with no malice before they return to their corners, the referee signalling for the bell to start 10 rounds of flyweight action.

Round 1:
Both fighters look like mirror images to start, circling with their left hand low as they move their heads, maybe hoping to bait their opponent into throwing something they can counter.

It leads to an early stalemate; the best punches that are being landed are jabs as they dance around the ring looking to the other out.

Jorgie is the one who decides to change things up, feinting with her left before landing a clean right cross around her opponent's guard.

The veteran starts to unload more punches as Maisie looks to back off, punches landing off the youngsters gloves as Jorgie picks up the pace.

Later in the round Maisie shows some nifty upper body movement to dodge a straight, countering with an overhand right to turn her opponent's head, following up with two straight shots to knock her head back.

The round ends with both getting some good shots in, the aggression of Jorgie makes most ringside though believe she has the opening round.

Round 2:
Again the round starts somewhat cagey, though Jorgie looks to continue being the one stepping forwards behind her stiff jab to control the pace.

As she goes to step in with a left cross; Maisie dodges then comes up with an uppercut to show that quickness she spoke about in the build up.

Suddenly the switch has been turned on seemingly for Maisie, who starts to throw more punches as she moves around Jorgie.

Who after that uppercut looks a little more guarded, allowing Maisie more freedom to work, which can only be helping grow the confidence of the Game of Thrones star.

But as Maisie goes to move inside to work the body, Jorgie reminds her of her own quick hands, stepping back before lashing two punches straight into Maisie's face to knock her head back.

While both like to attack from different angles, they soon fall on close range to slug it out in classic flyweight style, heads rubbing as they work the body.

Then late in the round they separate; Maisie surprises Jorgie with a feint of her own before landing a right to the ribs, followed by an overhand left to the side of her head.

The round ends with Maisie this time looking the better fighter, something that pleases Sophia as she praises her stablemate.

Round 3:
Now that they have a good idea how the other fights, they are trading more punches in bunches as they look to wear the other down.

Maisie slips under a straight to again go to the body, Gail not happy with her fighter for letting her body be exposed to these counter shots.

With the Girls Friday fighter seeming to now be focusing on that body, ducking down to move inside to work while her head is near the chin of Porter.

Who gives Maisie a shove back to open up space, where she boxes behind her straight shots, TILL MAISIE LOOKS TO MOVE IN CLOSE AGAIN, AN UPPERCUT STRAIGHTENS HER UP INTO A LEFT HOOK, DOWN GOES MAISIE!

The Jorgie supporters yell as she jogs over to a neutral corner, 1...2...3...4.. Maisie lifts herself up to a sitting position, shaking her head to clear the fog, 5...6...7... Now she is up to a knee before 8... Beating the count to a sigh of relieve from her corner.

As they are allowed to continue; Jorgie is looking to end this now, Maisie needing to defend herself as she retreats back after taking several clean shots to her face.

When Jorgie manages to knock Maisie to the ropes with a straight, the younger fighter is quick to clinch up with Porter, forcing the referee to step in to pry them apart.

Once they are separated; Maisie continues to retreat while throwing single punches to keep Jorgie off her, the round soon ending with Maisie annoyed at herself as she returns to her corner.

Across the ring Gail nods at Jorgie; who looks understandably relaxed as she takes on water, her and Gail discuss what to do now going into the next round.

Round 4:
Jorgie looks to build off the last round; stepping forwards with more sting behind her punches, Maisie forced early on to the outside of the ring.

The Hollyoaks star missing with several punches that looked to have real venom behind them, Maisie forced to mostly dodge and counter with single punches.

But Jorgie lands two punches that knock sweat off the head of Maisie, who is backed up towards a corner with most of her punches landing on the gloves of Williams.

When Maisie's back touches the turnbuckles, she looks to fight her way out of her predicament, punches land clean across both fighters faces to the delight of the crowd.

Till Maisie gets knocked back again with a three punch combo, she shields her head with her face as Jorgie then switches up to the body to make Maisie gasp out.

Forcing Maisie to pull Jorgie into a clinch, Jorgie looks to making it uncomfortable by pressing her body into her opponents, till the referee is forced to pry them apart.

Jorgie continues to be the aggressor as the round goes into the final stages, but Maisie is still showing fight to dodge before landing straight shots to the body.

The bell rings with Jorgie jogging back to her corner, she is met with a nod from Gail as this is what they wanted to see, Jorgie getting her faced washed down.

While in the opposition corner; Maisie gets a pep talk from Sophia, Maisie nods as Eva works on reducing swelling around her face.

Round 5:
As expected Jorgie continues to come forwards, stalking Maisie around the ring with head hunting punches, taking the center of the ring.

But Maisie looks to have shaken the knockdown she suffered off, her footwork looks back to where it was as she dances around the outside.

When Jorgie goes to land a left hook; Maisie slips under it then counters with two body shots, before moving out the way of a right aimed at the top of her head.

Slowly Maisie is getting back into this fight; making Jorgie miss before drilling punches into her face or body to make the blonde have to think about her attacks.

Ducking down to slip under a right cross; Maisie lands an uppercut to the body of her opponent, making her gasp out now as Maisie continues to work the body.

Those shots look to be hurting Jorgie as she starts to back up, Maisie looks to be in the fully swing of things now as she lands through the mitts of Porter.

Late in the round Maisie gets caught with a straight on the top of her head, followed by a left across her face, giving Jorgie a chance to get back onto the attack after being subdued.

There is a grandstand finish to the round as both fighters plant their feet while trading stiff shots, the bell rings to stop them as they exchange an intense stare before returning to their corners.

This time the Kear's corner is more busy, cleaning up Jorgie as her body looks to be getting a pink hue to it, she tells Gail that she'll put a stop to Maisie's resistance soon.

The Girls Friday corner meanwhile looks more relaxed after a good round for them, Sophia continues to give Maisie a rallying talking to, as Eva continues to keep working on her face.

Round 6:
The fighters trade single punches early on as Jorgie continues to walk forwards, Maisie is happy to box off the back foot it seems, even as she gets clocked with some stiff shots to her face.

A missed right by Jorgie allows Maisie to counter with a hard right to the solar plexuses, Jorgie winces as Maisie lands more body shots.

One lands near to the liver of Jorgie, making her retreat as she looks to be in real pain, BUT SHE CAN'T STOP MORE SHOTS COMING IN THAT MAKE HER FALL TO ALL FOURS!

Maisie's fan get their chance to roar for her as she jogs to a neutral corner, 1...2...3...4.. Jorgie spits out her gumshield as she tries to suck in air, 5...6...7.. Jorgie tries to push herself up, but she falls back to her knees holding her body, 8...9...10 ending up counted out!

Winner Maisie Williams KO Round 6

After:
This is a great win for Maisie; Jorgie knocked her around in the early going and looked to have in after the knockdown, Maisie dug in though to show off her toughness.

The winner raising her arms in the air as she stands smiling while staring at Jorgie, with Sophia and Eva rushing over to her to give her a hug.

While Jorgie sheds a few tears as much most likely from the sting of defeat as well as the pain her body is in, Gail kneeling down to check on her.

As soon as she feels up to it; Jorgie stands up with a slight grimace, she is still breathing hard as she turns to stare at Maisie, angry that she was beaten after looking so good.

Maisie gives her a quick stare, a few daggers being exchanged in those looks, it looks like these two won't be grabbing a drink together.

Jorgie leaves the ring with help from Gail, who tells her not to let this defeat drag her down, she showed what she can do and next time she will be the one getting her hand raised.

Instead it is Maisie this time getting her hand raised, she gets a round of applause from her fans, that brings a few tears of joy from Maisie.

Who now has the big test of Lucy Hale to look forwards too, the big question is how much did this fight take away from her?
