BEFORE: "Okay, so maybe I'm slumping a little now but I'm sooo ready to silence my critics tonight!", Polish glamour model Monika Pietrasinska sounds pretty confident despite riding a two-year winless streak that saw her lose six straight to otherwise impressive opposition. However former Miss Northern Ireland Zoe Salmon isn't exactly an impressive fighter these days so Monika's job might be that little easier as she enjoys plenty of support in her hometown of Warsaw.

Salmon got replaced by Yasmin Verheijen on the Lioness Club roster over three years ago and never really recovered from that moment onwards. But she refuses to be dismissed as "punchbag for hire" since even BBU TV's Georgie Thompson doesn't consider her a journeywoman anymore: "Geez, they sure pay Georgie a lot of cash to talk such BS! What is HER record anyway? Even worse than mine! Nevermind, I'd rather fight this Polish cow in Belfast but it is what it is. Once I knock her lights out, I will choose the venue of my next fight! Let's get it on, bytch!"

Monika Pietrasinska wears a red bikini set & white gloves. Long dark brown hair tied in a curled ponytail. Zoe Salmon wears a navy blue one-piece swimsuit & black gloves. Long blonde hair tied in a curled ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the lightweight division.

Round 1:
Zoe wants to punish the local heroine as early as possible but her initial swinging approach misses the target and makes her look a little too desperate here; Monika stays clear of the blonde's attack but fails to punish her on the reply and the opening round is more swing & miss than expected. Monika lands some single punches into Zoe's face but the Irish girl keeps coming back at her despite execution struggles and both hellcats tangle in a wrestling stalemate in the corner before Zoe whacks the brunette on the kidneys which earns her a late reprimand from the referee.

Round 2:
More of the same in the second but Salmon finally breaks through Pietrasinska's high guard and knocks her head back repeatedly before the Polish lass finds her response. Zoe soaks up a couple of big hits on the nose but still drives the younger girl onto the ropes where she blasts an uppercut double on the rack and cripples Monika into loud spasms! Huh! More strikes from Zoe send the local heroine behind a high earmuff and it's a poor showing from the embattled model who fails to break free from the blonde's assault that makes the crowd go haywire with jeers & whistles when the bell finally halts the action.

Round 3:
Maybe Monika could use a coaching advice from BBU champion Dorota Rabczewska here? The Polish Queen Bee is absent from the Torwar Hall though and Monika has no better ideas than to tackle the blonde in a swarming fashion outright. However Zoe's confidence is pretty high at this very moment and she outworks the brunette in close range before thumping her on the rack to gain more comfort. The raw power isn't quite there but Pietrasinska's forced to yield real estate and more jeers greet Salmon's jabbing hassle that triggers a lenghty clinching stalemate when Monika backs out of the slugging exchange.

Round 4:
It's a bad look for the Polish model who allows the otherwise lacklustre Salmon to bully her around like that but the high guard has improved to the point the blonde becomes frustrated when she bounces off it far too often early in the fourth. She drives low to punish the brunette's guts but gets caught out with a vicious thump across the nose that enables Pietrasinska to rally into a commanding position with more pesky half-uppercuts. Both girls slug it out in close range and Salmon gets rocked with another nasty uppercut on the jaw before Monika sends her butt-in-ropes with a late drive that ignites the crowd into some loud cheers!

Round 5:
Monika becomes more aggressive as she trades punches with the stubborn blonde in the center of the ring. Zoe is well aware she could be leading this one on the cards but wants to hurt the glamour model outright alas she soaks up too much pressure up the middle as Pietrasinska exposed her leaky guard more than enough to grind the Irish woman into a halt come the half-way mark. Ugh! Zoe aches through the punishment she receives and wobbles to the side after another cross hook on the nose and has to yield real estate wholesale as the Polish model tracks her down thereafter; she traps Salmon in the neutral corner and cleans out her midriff to cap off a good spell here!

Round 6:
Zoe wants to resume that early round promise but gets cut above the left eye when she succumbs to the slugging pressure of the local girl; Monika barks in her efforts now as she clubs more clean strikes into the blonde's face and Salmon wobbles back & forth on her feet which badly affects her precision. She tries to slip for the inside attack but gets bumped onto her heels and then is too slow to raise her gloves when Pietrasinska NAILS her with another vicious cross that opens a second cut just below the left eye as well. Ugh! Zoe cries out once she gets pummelled onto the ropes and the final stretch is as one-sided as it gets with Monika clubbing unanswered leather straight into the blonde's face! Huh! Zoe looks more than woozy as she stumbles back to her corner!

Round 7:
Monika triggers instant head-hunting attack and Zoe's head snaps rapidly back & forth until she literally slumps into loud spasms that only fuel the brunette's attack! Monika makes sure the cut below the eye begins to leak more blood and Salmon almost turns her back on the younger woman as she's unable to fend off the brutal jabbing rally. She gets thumped back to the corner and cries out more pain before Pietrasinska SMOKES her with a huge right hook that sends more blood on the canvas next... AND THE REF ISSUES A STANDING EIGHT COUNT just to halt the beating even if a stoppage looms large here... Zoe can barely respond to the call as her left eye has been swollen shut in the so-called meantime and the fight is promptly WAVED OFF when the Irish babe admits she can't see much through all the swelling. TKO7 Monika Pietrasinska!!!

AFTER: A big win for the Polish vixen who really needed this sucker! She yells at the bruised opponent and Zoe's not arguing her case much as she looks quite dreadful out there with her eye completely swollen shut by the time the official verdict is announced. Monika still wants to parade the Ulster rival around the ring and Zoe gets pushed & bumped around the area before she stumbles onto her knees and finally lets all the tears out! Such a disappointing end to one of her best performances in years! 

Forget the Torwar Hall love though, Monika's come-from-behind stoppage success leaves more questions than answers as the Polish model must consider herself lucky Salmon didn't blow her doors off at any point during the initial aggressive period. Several partisan fans want Monika to clash with Ann-Kathrin Brommel soon and Yasmin Verheijen wants a piece of her too but it doesn't seem like the buxom brunette is ready for these kind of opponents just yet. She's enjoyed her share of tough outs during the past couple of years and Georgie Thompson suggests another glorified journeywoman match-up to build more confidence first.
