BEFORE: "So, how is that Spice Girl Tour going?", BBU TV's Georgie Thompson is quick to ask Geri Halliwell about her comeback both in & out of the ring ahead of tonight's After Dark boxing effort: "Hi, Georgie! We kick off in Dublin on May 24th so I'm gonna be a little busy with that stuff but this is just the way I wanted to gain extra attention! Not that I need it all that much! We're STILL top billing in this country!" (laughs). "I sure wanted to bring Mel C. for the undercard but she's pulled a muscle or something and we all know Mel B. & Emma are into coaching now..." "Hi, I'm still here too!", Melanie Brown actually interrupts Geri's interview and waves back to the camera... "Sadly Victoria won't even join us on the Tour let alone boxing but who can blame her after she got whupped so many times before!" - "I broke her #### jaw back in 2003, that's why she's so fussy these days!", Mel B. reveals a plausible scoop however there's one woman who's clearly bemused by the Spice Girls frat party.

That's Foxfire Atlantic's Sylvie Meis who admits she's got a fight lined up in Hamburg within the next few weeks but simply couldn't pass on this opportunity as she seeks more exposure for her lingerie collection: "I know Geri can't win any fights versus these 20 year olds anymore but I'm still way younger than she is. I understand I was recommended by her husband who's running the Red Bull F1 team where our Dutch kid bags these great results! Well, I'm gonna bag one for us tonight as well and Geri won't be so cheerful anymore!"

Georgie Thompson worked in F1 coverage before but she's unable to confirm whether that was Max Verstappen or rather his father Jos who recommened Sylvie to Christian Horner (Geri's husband) however that's not exactly the most important question right now, is it?

Geri Halliwell wears an Union Jack-themed bikini top, blue hotpants & red gloves. Long strawberry blonde hair tied in a half-up ponytail. Sylvie Meis wears a pink bikini set & white gloves. Long blonde hair tied in a curled ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the flyweight division.

Round 1:
Geri wants to establish some early presence but gets picked off by a Dutch buzzsaw as Sylvie literally runs across the boards to secure the initial connection. She aims high and cashes in with some cruel hooks that rattle Geri's head around and glue her to the spot before a thumping left hook catches her on the boobs and drops back onto the ropes. The blonde's high-octane start continues as she hauls in a wicked left cross on the nose and keeps Halliwell pinned onto the ropes while blasting more shots to the body in the process. Geri has no options but to clinch the charging rival yet she still gets outworked along the ropes as Sylvie breaks the clinch and slams a wicked uppercut double on the jaw to basically whitewash the opener! Even Mel B. looks on in shock and the Spice Girls reunion requires some immediate response according to Georgie Thompson in the booth!

Round 2:
Forget about that response, it's all Meis early in the second again as she thumps quick-fire abuse up the middle and sends the redhead reeling into mid-distance. However Sylvie remains on top of her game and dances into a close range position where she punishes more English jug and makes Halliwell whimper in discomfort. Another clinching attempt finally stalls the Dutch antics and Geri reaches out to punish Sylvie's kidneys which draws ire from the lingerie model. Sylvie resumes the head-hunting pursuit come the final minute and has Halliwell weaving around in hectic retreat before one of the overhand nails the Dutch stunner on the nose to stop her aggressive run. Bell.

Round 3:
Sylvie flies in with another overhand assault but Geri spins away from it and hauls a rare hook as the younger woman tried to follow through... Sylvie reaches too far and misses the target while her balance gets compromised and Geri's right there to SMACK a left hook on the eye that rocks the blonde's head back and make her squeal in pain! Ugh! Halliwell powers ahead into close range and connects with the model's jaw before a drilling harpoon on the liver area throws Meis out of her comfort zone. She almost gets stuck on her right leg but with her mobility neutralized for a moment, the Ginger Spice WHACKS her over the top and tears a small patch under the right eye... Ugh! Sylvie refuses to engage in another slugging exchange and gets pounded back to the ropes where Geri cleans out shop by drilling the exposed ribcage for remainder of the round.

Round 4:
That's more like it from Geri who seems to have found her range as she trades quick-fire punches in the center of the ring; Sylvie hassles with her overhands but only matches the singer's improved intensity and gets whacked across the wounded area repeatedly which slows her right down to the point Halliwell can cripple her with more harpoons to the liver area. Ouch! It's the blonde's turn to seek a clinching respite but Geri breaks it off after a jug-to0jug tussle and swings one more time to nail the Dutch woman on the gash under the right eye. Sylvie yelps in pain upon impact and fails to mount a proper response while Halliwell methodically dissects her high guard and pummels back onto the ropes come the final stretch. Ugh! Sylvie slumps in visible discomfort at the bell but Geri tells her she's just getting started!

Round 5:
Meis doesn't enjoy the mobility advantage anymore and gets overpowered in a slugging exchange that knocks her head back repeatedly during the opening minute. Geri's durability must be a concern given her age but she glues the blonde opponent to the spot with some cruel hooks and inflicts more damage on the cut under the right eye. Sylvie begins to feel the heat as well and slumps into a clinch but then she's badly affected by the swelling as the redhead keeps piling more pressure right where it hurts the blonde the most. Ugh! Meis tries to attack the body but gets bumped onto her heels in jug-to-jug contact before Geri SLAMS a right cross on the mouth that almost knocks the wind out of the aching model who slumps on the ropes only to enjoy the bell-sounding save. Huh! That was close!

Round 6:
Sylvie's right eye is almost completely swollen shut now as the Foxfire entourage can't do much about it and Geri just lays it into the stranded woman whose guard collapses under the head-hunting pressure. Poor blonde is hurting badly as she cries out one strike after another... she tries to land that awkwardly rare haymaker against the odds but misses badly and Halliwell FLOORS HER WITH A RIGHT HOOK that bounces off the jaw and ragdolls the aching blonde face-down onto the canvas!!! "That should frickin' do it!!", Geri thinks she's got this all wrapped up and she's right. Sylvie stays down in spread eagle fashion and aches all her pain out during a slowish count! It's almost like the ref wanted to rub it all into the Dutch tourist's swollen face! KO6 Geri Halliwell!!!

AFTER: Ginger Spice high-fives her bandmate Mel B. and there's more jouyful chat between the two of them while the medics help the Dutch model to regain her whereabouts. Sylvie avoids eye contact with the Spice Girls once she gets up but she can't see much out of that swollen right eye anyway! Meanwhile Geri takes over the cheering duty and it's all about the Reunion Tour kicking off next month that Georgie Thompson believes BBU got paid off in a publicity stunt to showcase more Girl Power singing talent. Party like it's 1999? 

Back in the media room the Lioness Club entourage refuses to confirm whether this was a genuine one-off for Geri or whether she plans to box around the Reunion Tour dates going forward. On the other hand former Lioness coach Gina Wild reveals she invited Sylvie Meis to take part in a special Black Eagles card to be held in Hamburg within the next few weeks: "We hope Sylvie doesn't bail out on us just because Geri banged her up a little tonight! She'd still sell more tickets in Hamburg than Spice-fookin-Girls will for this sorry-ass reunion scam!" Ouch. It sounds like Gina still can't get over the fact the Spice Girls have run her out of the Lioness stable over three years ago!
