BEFORE: Hamburg's very own Collien Fernandes continues her scouting of the Lioness Club flyweights but BBU TV's Charlie Webster thinks the spicy brunette would be better off facing Jeanette Biedermann sometime else. The blonde singer has been through some rough patches during her lenghty BBU career however she scored a couple of good wins last season and plain knocked out former divisional title challenger Amelle Berrabah on the Boxing Day PPV. Eagles' coach Gina Wild believes that's actually the reason why Collien should face the Berlin-based singer right now as Collien doesn't really have much time to develop around these gatekeepers anymore. It's win now or go home for Fernandes and she'd need every ounce of that loud support from the partisan Hamburg audience tonight!

Collien Fernandes wears a red bikini set & black gloves. Long raven-black hair tied in a curled ponytail. Jeanette Biedermann wears a light blue bikini set & silver gloves. Long blonde hair tied in a sleek ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the flyweight division.

Round 1:
Collien blasts out of the gate and tries to smack the blonde straight up the middle but Jeanette shows impressive agility to avoid the initial leather rush. She lacks a proper response and only fuels more hectic attacks from her rival but Collien fails to land her shots early on even though the crowd really gets behind her. Eagles coach Gina Wild calls out the singer's cowardice but that appears to be the plan all along as Fernandes wastes more energy in a futile pursuit of Biedermann who yells out in delight when she delivers a quick hooking combo inside the final few seconds. She staggers Collien to the side and whips a left hook on the lips that makes the Hamburg audience really upset at the bell.

Round 2:
More of the same in the second, Collien tries to dominate the aggressive approach but fails to match the singer's mobility and gets picked off with single strikes as Jeanette settles for a counter-punching effort to frustrate her compatriot. Both vets get a little vocal but Biedermann still lands the better punches even though she lacks outright power. Fernandes almost leaps at her foe as she enforces a close range struggle where Jeanette spins her around onto the ropes and whacks with a drilling left cross on the jaw. Ugh! Collien sinks on wobbly knees and gets pinned in the corner while Biedermann unloads more head-hunting juice to shut the Hamburg native down for remainder of the round!

Round 3:
The brunette's puching resistance gets exposed badly in the third when she gets smacked on the lips repeatedly during the blonde's initial jabbing burst. Jeanette finally uses her mobility to outright dominate the TV presenter who disappears behind a hectic earmuff but still gets clobbered back to the ropes. Collien just can't stay out of her singer's range and doesn't find a noteworthy counter-punch while Biedermann lays it into her midsection to further enhance her progress. She ignores the high earmuff and pounds extra tummy while dropping Fernandes into loud spasms that make Gina Wild look shocked in the Eagles corner. Jeanette tries to dismantle that desperate earmuff in the closing stages but her uppercuts bounce off it so she can only verbally abuse her opponent as suddenly there's some bad tempers flying around the ring.

Round 4:
We have a proper national dust up going early in the fourth as Collien flies in with the overhand punch to blast the singer on the jaw. Jeanette gets beaten to the punch and reels backwards as Charlie Webster reckons Fernandes can only win this bout from the front. That idea sits well with the Eagles master plan but Collien's execution is too reckless down the stretch so Jeanette clinches her into safety before using her supreme footwork to gain the mid-distance advantage. She wants to pounce on the counter-punching plan again but the brunette's attacks are finding it's mark this time and the singer gets neutralized along the ropes which raises more support from the audience. Both women circle around each other to close out the round and it's still too close to call for Charlie in the booth.

Round 5:
Fatigue could play a big role in this cougar battle but it's more head-hunting menace aimed at haymaker breakthrough early in the fifth. Jeanette finally slams a good left/right combo into the brunette's nose but gets caught with a vicious overhand that makes her yelp in pain and suddenly Fernandes tees off from point-blank range and drops her foe on the heels with a steady dose of aerial pressure. She tears a small gash under the blonde's left eye before gut-checking her with a swift move downstairs. Biedermann tries to push off her heels but misfires over the top and gets NAILED with a right hook on the nose that bursts a bloody stream on the spot! Ugh! Jeanette gurgles in pain and drops her mitts alltogether as she tries to embrace the impact however Collien is right there to WHACK her on the chin which FOLDS THE SINGER ONTO HER KNEES moments later! The Hamburg audience errupts in joy as Jeanette bends her head against the canvas and aches her heart out before a brave comeback onto her feet at eight. There's still blood coming from her nose but the ref doesn't call for a medical timeout and Collien just rattles into the blonde's face as she seeks more damage. Biedermann's resistance is crushed when she gets whacked with more ruthless hooks and as she bellows out onto the ropes, Collien just buries her under more leather... she spins the blonde ponytail around until Jeanette cries out even louder and the REF PULLS HER AWAY FROM THE ACHING SINGER!!! TKO5 Collien Fernandes!!!

AFTER: Jeanette goes down onto her knees again while Lioness coach Mel B. argues she should have been granted a medical break to address that nasal damage. However Gina Wild & Collien could hardly care less as they parade around the ring amid a rampant support from the audience. The local girl scored a much-needed victory taking advantage of the singer's below par resistance but it's a common strike against these veterans. Charlie Webster reckons Collien could have been finished off in similar fashion if only Jeanette delivered the suitable dose of leather first. One can expect the raven-haired presenter to keep blowing hot & cold but she might be the Eagles' best flyweight option going forward especially if Sandy Moelling fails to beat Sylvie Meis in the next bout on the card!
