(Free Agent vs Free Agent)

Intro:
The Dome Leisure Centre in Doncaster hosts tonight's action, Helen Skelton looks to keep going on the right track after winning her debut fight, in her way is former singer Michelle Heaton.

Helen is 35 years old; she stands 5'3, holding an unbeaten record of 1 win, that was by way of knockout.

Michelle is 39 years old; she stands 5'4 ½, holding a record of 1 win, that by way of knockout, with 5 defeats.

They were interviewed face to face on BBU TV, with a relaxed feel between the two fighters as Denise Van Outen sat between them.

First to be asked her opinion on her opponent was Helen, who said "I know Michelle isn't as bad a boxer as her record states, I mean she has lost to former bantamweight champion Amy Nuttell, flyweight champion Tiffany Mulheron and plenty of other top fighters, that would be hard for any fighter to gain traction"

Michelle smiles as she answers the question "Helen is a good person I know outside the ring and has shown she has skills in it, the problem she has is I am not going to be playing nice in the ring, when that bell rings I will be out to hurt her to take that unbeaten record"

Smiling back; Helen nods before jovially replying "we'll see soon enough if you can keep that promise" making Michelle look more serious as she stares at her future opponent, maybe mistaking her tone for a mocking one or not liking the phrase used.

Both women pose fists up facing off for the cameras, neither smiling now as they stare right into the others eyes, with Denise needing to nudge them apart when they don't listen to her.

Fight night; Helen is out first with her coach beside her, she looks relaxed as she waves at the fans, wearing an electric blue sports bra, shorts, shoes and gloves, while her hair is up in a ponytail.

After getting into the ring; Helen flexes her right arm as winks at the crowd, then when she reaches she corner she begins to warm up by shadow boxing.

Now out comes Michelle with her coach behind her, she raises her fists in the air as she jogs down the aisle towards the ring, wearing a black sports bra, black trunks with white trim, white gloves, black shoes, while her hair is tied into a ponytail too.

Stepping into the ring; Michelle stares over at Helen before she heads to her own corner, where she stretches to warm up.

The fighters come to the center of the ring, looking each other as the referee speaks to them, before they touch gloves when prompted.

Both get final words from their coaches as they return to their corners, the bell rings to start 10 rounds of flyweight action.

Round 1:
At the bell Michelle looks like she wants to keep her word, coming straight up the middle to pressure her less experienced opponent.

Helen looks a little shocked by the attack, she gets shoved into her shell as Michelle lands a jab/straight into the face of the younger fighter.

The Geordie lass takes the center of the ring as she works hard to keep Helen on the back foot, with Skelton on able to land single punches out of that guard.

More the focus for Helen is to dodge before looking to counter, but Michelle is the one pushing the pace, not landing much, she is stopping the Carlisle woman on the back foot.

The bell rings with Michelle nodding to her coach, both looking happy after a strong opening round, while Helen is being told to get out of the starting gates quicker.

Round 2:
While Michelle caught Helen out; it doesn't work this time as Michelle hasn't the speed to do it again now Helen knows what is coming.

Instead they both trade jabs as Helen boxes off the back foot, letting Michelle come at her as she looks to counter punch.

With Skelton slipping a right cross to land a left under the ribs of Heaton, now working away at the singers body, Helen makes Michelle groan out with each hit.

Till Michelle is able to nudge Helen back, catching the younger woman to her face with a jab/right cross as she steps forwards.

They end up rubbing heads as they work the others body, maybe Helen wanting to show her opponent she won't be bullied so easily.

The round ends with both women nodding at the other before they turn back to their corners, neithers coach looks too worried as they chat to their fighters.

Round 3:
The fighters again trade jabs as Michelle keeps trying to press, but Helen looks warmed up now as the former Blue Peter presenter is dodging more easily before counter punching.

A missed straight by Michelle leaves her open to a left/right hook combo on her chin, she stumbles back as Helen follows her, A RIGHT HOOK SENDS HER DOWN TO HER BACK!

Helen is smiling as she heads to a neutral corner, 1...2...3... Michelle shakes her head as she sits up, 4...5...6.. Looking up at the referee, Michelle begins to shove herself up, 7....8... Beating the count as she lifts her gloves up to show she is OK.

The action resumes with Helen dancing around Michelle, looking for angles to strike as Michelle looks more defensive.

It looks like Helen hasn't got that one punch knockout power, but is hurting Michelle when she steps in to land combinations, drilling punches mostly into the body of the older woman to make her groan out.

Michelle only able to really land single punches to the top of Helen's head, she doesn't seem able to stop her opponent getting inside her reach though.

The bell rings with Michelle looking up at the ceiling of the arena, frustrated as she heads back to her corner knowing how terrible that was for her.

Round 4:
Helen steps out firing out a double jab now, keeping Michelle behind her guard as the Geordie is looking for a way to get back into this.

A feint from Helen opens up Michelle for an overhand right to the side of her head, a left comes through the gloves of Heaton onto her nose.

Michelle tries to retreat backwards; Helen though is keeping in close, ripping in two body shots then AN UPPERCUT LANDS FLUSH TO SEND MICHELLE ONTO HER BACK AGAIN!

The crowd roars as Helen is full of joy while heading to the neutral corner, 1...2...3...4.. Michelle groans as she slowly turns to her side, 5...6...7.. She is blinking as her gumshield comes out, 8...9...10 Michelle is counted out still on her side!

Winner Helen Skelton KO Round 4

After:
Another good performance from the rookie Helen, it was a slow start as Michelle caught her out somewhat, but she finished the fight with an impressive combination.

Michelle meanwhile is helped to sit up; she rubs her jaw as her coach tells her not to let this fight get her down as she nods at them.

Helen jogs over to her to check on Michelle, who tells Helen that she will be OK to the relief of the woman who just gave her the sore jaw.

Heading back to their corners; understandably the Heaton camp isn't the most talkative as she just wants to get cleaned up, looking annoyed as she looks at the canvas.

While Helen is smiling at her coach, who is praising that finish as they she gets a pat on her back, before the gloves are taken off.

Heading to the center of the ring, their is a fist bump between the fighters before Helen gets her hand raised by the referee, she jumps up and down overjoyed to have kept her win streak alive.

While Michelle just nods as she turns to leave the ring, it'll be interesting to see how many more fights she has in her as she stares glumly at the aisle she is heading up.

Inside the ring Helen is doing a lap of honour, waving to the fans as they chant her name, finishing up bowing before she leaves the ring, hoping to be back in the ring soon enough.
