BEFORE: Swedish bombshell Helena Mattsson took care of Stella Maxwell's business back in October and there are rumours she's ready to battle Kelly Gale for national pride again however Malena Costa shouldn't be overlooked as mere cannon fodder despite her minimum body of work thus far. The Spanish model (half-Swedish too!) knocked out the impressive Clara Alonso in July of last year and simply couldn't wait for the next opportunity: "This feels like a fresh start but let's face it, I scared all these bimbos off! Nobody wants a piece of a tough Spanish chica like me so all credit to Helena here. I won't call her a blonde airhead out of respect but I'm still gonna beat her brains out tonight!" (laughs).

Helena dismisses the tease in stoic fashion while Lookout Atlantic owner/manager Nicole Richie is the one losing her temper during the introductions. Order is quickly restored and we can finally focus on pure boxing here in the Wembley Arena!

Helena Mattsson wears a light blue bikini set & yellow gloves. Long blonde hair tied in a braid. Malena Costa wears a crimson bikini set & black gloves. Long dark brown hair tied in a custom ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the lightweight division.

Round 1:
Helena takes the stoic approach into the first round but Malena wants none of that and enforces some quick jabs to inject action into the ring; she smacks the blonde's high guard at first but then lands a vicious belter on the liver area that catches Mattsson off guard. Ugh! Helena tries to swing back yet Malena steps into the punch and slams a left hook on the nose before looping more shots up the middle to send the Swede into hectic retreat. Malena seems to enjoy the early pounce alright but loses her precision when Mattsson keeps her in mid-range until another looping cross bumps the Lookout! fighter on the nose. Helena avoids getting trapped on the ropes but fails to halt the brunette's jabbing pursuit until she clinches her in the final seconds of the round.

Round 2:
Helena gets more aggressive this time to prevent another expected jabbing rush from the Spanish model and both girls duke it out in close range for a while until an accidental clash of heads stops the action. Malena finds her spots but switches downstairs to plug her mitts into the blonde's ribcage; Helena tries to swing back over the top with minimal success which leads into another lenghty clinch as both women refuse to back away from the invisible cage. Mattsson explores the jug muggin' route which Costa struggles to embrace during the second minute but she recovers with a booming cross on the nose that simply makes the blonde angry. Another hit & miss display follows with Helena landing the better punches as she tags the brunette on the mouth several times to perhaps steal the round.

Round 3:
Malena dominates the jabbing prelude but Helena wants to slug it out regardless, she misfires on the approach and gets thumped on the jaw instead. Another half-uppercut plugs her in the boobs and suddenly Costa goes on a rampage punishing the blonde's rack; she whacks her with a stray elbow in the slumping chin as well and Mattsson just can't escape the rush... she drops into a wincing struggle and loses her footing while Malena plugs her on the solar plexus before a lightning fast uppercut finds the jaw and sinks the Swede into real trouble. Malena shoves the ailing foe back and lands a freebie on the nose... Helena can't embrace that punch at all and HITS THE DECK moments later as the Wembley Arena audience actually errupts in joy! Not much support for the Swedish babe all things considered but she's up on her feet at eight and takes another delay spitting out her gumshield. Costa is downright furious and wants to finish the seemingly hurting blonde off however she can't land that crucial punch anymore as Mattsson bides her time along the ropes in hectic albeit successful retreat.

Round 4:
Malena comes flying in and tries to inflict some damage upstairs even though she had so much success punching the blonde in the boobs before, a back & forth struggle ensues with the blonde showing little fear coming from that knockdown - she tears it up and clatters into the brunette's jaw with a good double before Costa finds her jug muggin' ways again. Both women land a stray elbow into each other so the action descends into a gruesome catfight in the phone booth which should suit the model better but then she gets whacked on the liver and bends to the side while Helena nails her on the mouth and tears a bloody patch on the spot. Malena pushes off her heels but shoots over Helena's shoulder and eats another quick hook on the nose as the Lookout! babe rallies late to clean out shop and drop her rival onto the ropes to complete her recovery.

Round 5:
Another hectic start from Costa who lands her jabs on target but Helena soaks up the initial blast on the jugs much better this time and sends the overhand reply into Malena's lips. The Spanish babe just refuses to back off from the point-blank range assault and wants to respond in similar fashion only to find Mattsson blasting her on the jaw back & forth... Uh-oh! The brunette's legs lose that stiff presence and suddenly Helena NAILS her with a vicious uppercut to trigger instant yelping dismay... Malena can't move her feet and wobbles into a brutal hook on the mouth which sends her gumshield flying off!!! SHE JACK-KNIFES TO HER KNEES in slo-mo fashion and collapses at the blonde's feet in spread eagle fashion! Take that and then some! The count is waved off at seven as the fallen brunette makes no effort to get up! KO5 Helena Mattsson in come-from-behind fashion!!!

AFTER: This was a difficult bout for the Swedish veteran and she knows it! Malena had her in serious trouble but got carried away following that knockdown and dropped a famous victory. Someone more experienced would have boxed it out from the front and worn Mattsson out into a desperate KO-or-bust approach down the stretch. Malena wanted to finish her opponent too quickly and got punished in the slugfest response. She will learn her lessons and come back stronger according to BBU TV's Anna Woolhouse. Meanwhile Kelly Gale can actually look forward to her chances of taking the fellow Swede down in the rumoured rematch. Helena has shown enough questions marks tonight to warrant Gale's mocking on social media that kicks off seconds after the official verdict is announced.
