Jesy Nelson vs Kimberley Walsh
(Frankie's Foxes vs Lioness Club)
(0-7 vs 10-23, 10 KO)
Results: BBU; Story: Vassago

BEFORE: "It's now or fookin' nevaaahhhh!!!", that's the tune coming out of the blue corner where Little Mix's Jesy Nelson is ready to finally break her winless streak tonight. Many BBU experts believed Jesy was - or maybe still is - the most natural brawler coming out of the band but her boxing career has been a complete disaster to say the very least. But she didn't take two years off for nothing! At least that's what Frankie Cocozza says on twitter so shall we believe him?

Due to some bad publicity regarding her boxing record and random weight gains Jesy refuses to answer the pre-fight questions from Denise van Outen and has bandmates Perrie Edwards and Leigh-Anne Pinnock covering for her instead. In fact Leigh-Anne would like to tell Denise how she's gonna destroy Nikki Sanderson soon but that's not exactly what our lovely BBU TV wanted to know right now!

"Bwoah! She's like a glorified stripper these days! Just check her social media pages! Might as well seek a career in topless oil wrestling if you ask me!", Kimberley's response indicates she has zero respect towards the fellow singer and booked this fight in order to break her own lousy losing streak. "I have zero intentions to quit! I've seen all the BBU TV tidbits and they are all wrong! Too many beatdowns? Like really? Watch me pummel this stoopid little whore into 0-fer-8 tonight!"

Jesy Nelson wears a red bikini top, black hip-huggers & red gloves. Long dark brown hair in loose curls. Kimberley Walsh wears a light blue sports bra, black hip-huggers & yellow gloves. Long light brown hair tied in a sleek ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the bantamweight division.

Round 1:
Kimberley leads the way with some quick jabbing and glues Jesy to the spot but the hitherto winless singer is really determined to break that lousy streak and fires back over the top in confident fashion. Both women channel the slugging gear for a while - with questionable precision - until Kimberley bends her opponent to the side following a nifty double on the temples. Jesy leaks too many punches to succeed in the close range exchange and spins out of the jam only for Walsh to whack her across the lips and literally push back onto the ropes. Ugh! Jesy gets vocal as she tries to barge into the older singer's breasts but gets outworked in the process and sags into loud spasms when Kimba wrenches her midsection inside & out during the final minute.

Round 2:
Kimberley claims the early success punching the fellow singer in the gut again but Jesy finally responds in meaningful fashion and blasts her foe across the mouth before drilling her nose with a quick half-uppercut. Both women clash heads in the proverbial phone booth before Kimberley gathers her thoughts first and whacks the Little Mix member in the chest herself. Jesy barks in anger and continues to swing over the top which earns her a brief spell of dominance as Kimberley's footwork remains lethargic at best. She gets clubbed straight up and wobbles to her heels while Nelson racks up a jabbing drive to test the high guard before blasting a harpoon to the body herself. Walsh keeps her honest and works the high jab to avoid getting trapped on the ropes but she's lost the momentum here and Lioness coach Mel B. shakes her head in frustration come the bell.

Round 3:
Another jabbing blast bounces off Kimberley's face early in the third and she suddenly looks inferior to Nelson's slugging approach. The East Londoner steps up with her efforts and rises above its predictable nature to clock more juice into Kimba's cheeks to back her onto the ropes down the stretch. No luck in avoiding this trap anymore as Walsh rips a left cross into Jesy's nose but fails to build on that single punch and gets pummelled from both flanks instead. She groans in pain and clinches the younger woman but still eats more harpoons downstairs as Nelson gets vocal again and seeths into her ear in the process. Both women clash heads again but Jesy doesn't let Kimba off the hook and whacks her with an uppercut double before a left hook on the nose sinks the Bradford lass into spasms right at the bell.

Round 4:
Jesy feels like she can really punish the fellow singer and jumps into another high-octane series but Kimberley sticks her mitts into her chest and triggers a lenghty jug muggin' dispute that drains the Little Mix brunette out! A wild swing over the top cuts Jesy across the nasal ridge and suddenly it's Walsh back on top as she hauls in the jabbing menace into the younger singer's face to back her onto the ropes. Neither woman owns a great defense and Nelson for all her aggressive intentions gets clobbered up the middle again and has to clinch the Girls Aloud veteran. She plugs her in the solar plexus to escape a truly inferior position and beats Kimberley for another overhand right-on-right but eats a late cross-hook on the mouth and fails to steal the round outright as Walsh takes it close according to Denise van Outen in the booth.

Round 5:
More wild swinging early in the fifth as both women maybe lack the skills but not the heart... that's still a somewhat downgrade for someone like Kimberley who has won fights in this league but she's not getting any younger and she simply runs out of energy half-way through the round and allows Jesy to pancake her face thereafter! Jesy avoids all the looping menace and battles back to glue Kimba to the spot before dropping a nasty harpoon on the liver area that finally makes the Bradford lass feel it. Kimberley wobbles onto the ropes and tries to evade more trouble but just can't find that extra spring and Nelson blows her up along the turnbuckle to swivel her head back & forth and slump into loud spasms. Ugh! Perrie & Leigh-Anne get all excited in the Little Mix corner and Jesy might well be ahead on the cards at half-distance!

Round 6:
Jesy sprints across the boards to connect with the older singer's face and Kimberley's high-guard just can't stop anything at this stage stage which allows the East London babe to crank up the jabbing volume to the point she squashes her rival's lips and whacks her on the temple for a good measure. Kimberley wobbles onto her heels and reaches out from the back foot only to find thin air while Jesy SMOKES her with a cruel uppercut on the jaw instead!!! DOWN GOES WALSH!!! The Bradford singer gets dropped for the count and rolls onto her left side with a whimper... Perrie Edwards thinks her bandmate has broken her maiden but... but... Kimberley somehow makes it back onto her feet at eight and gives the Little Mix entourage a really long stare: "Not so fast, bytches!", "You lousy fat....", Jesy is helluva upset she has to double down on the knockdown series and romps into a head-hunting drive that shuts Kimba down along the ropes. All the wrath comes out and cuts the older brunette up under the left eye before Walsh simply bellows out into loud spasms on top of the ropes. She fails to raise her mitts high enough while Jesy works in gung-ho fashion to rearrange her face! Uh-oh!!! THE REF STEPS IN before Jesy really overheats the meat grinder!! Go ahead, kid! You deserve this one! TKO6 Jesy Nelson!!!

AFTER: Big roar from the Little Mix camp as Jesy has finally won a BBU fight! Huh! Better late than never! The East Londoner is so excited she barely has time to rub extra insult into the beat up Kimberley who gets escorted back to the locker room as fast as Mel B. can vent her frustration out. It appears like the Bradford singer has truly entered the jobber zone and there is no rescue in sight.

Meanwhile Jesy, Perrie and Leigh-Anne are all in for some party fever and invite Denise van Outen to share the experience with them: "I never pass on a free drink and hell, once the girls are stoned enough I'll ask them what's up with Jade Thirlwall and her quest to derail Ewelina Lisowska's championship hype train! I just hope Frankie Cocozza is busy bangin' Holly Hagan and doesn't spoil my night!"

Official Result: Jesy Nelson def. Kimberley Walsh TKO6.
