Intro:
It's time for Priyanka "Big Choppy" Chopra and Emily Ratajkowski to share a ring for the first time in their careers, both getting to wear their best bikinis into battle as they have points to prove, one to a stable manager, the other to the champion.

Priyanka has for many been shoved into the shadow of her stablemate Naomi Scott, the bantamweight champion has been the one getting the attention, while Priyanka has been playing gatekeeper for a shot at Naomi, a role she has bared through the past few months.

Being interviewed before the fight at the FCBA Network set by primetime host Lucy Liu, Priyanka was asked how she feels being seen as the forgotten woman of the division, Priyanka scoffs as she answers "look Lucy I respect you, please don't be one of the media who tries to cause bother where there is none, I respect and am proud of Naomi, though I still plan on becoming a bantamweight champion myself" Lucy nods with a rye smile, knowing she can't get anything juicy from the veteran of interviews like the Bollywood star.

So the subject changes to this fight, Priyanka tells Lucy "Emily is a good fighter, far from unbeatable, you know I love chopping down opponents, just look at the body of Ratajkowski, it shouldn't take long for me to make her quit on all fours in front of the world" that puts a smile on Priyanka's face after being serious.

Emily meanwhile is on a roll but to some pundits is being pigeonholed into just being a JMD fighter, missing the fact she actually has a great record in traditional rules bouts, judging by her comments in the past about wanting to be the bantamweight champion, the American beauty will be wanting to make a statement by beating Priyanka to get to Naomi.

Instead of doing an interview, Emily posted a video on her social media after working out in her stables gym, sparring with Alexis Ren, working the punch bag, working up a sweat as she shows what it takes to be an elite fighter, while showing her opponent a little of what she has to look forwards too.

After she is done working out, Emily has her fists taped red, sitting on the ring apron with her arms draped onto the middle rope, she tells the world "Priyanka I am ready for this, I was born to rule the beaches, I have made myself a champion, now I smash you aside so I can prove I am the best in this division" staring hard at the camera as if staring down the Hawkeye stable, daring them to give her a shot at the title.

Fighting time with the bleachers set up, ring posts are set on Copacabana Beach as the judges table and timekeeper sit beside the ring, the crowd is in a party mood drinking as they have enjoyed the action so far, buzzing for more amazing action still to come.

Onto the beach first comes Priyanka, she has the HISC coach following behind, she walks around the ring to her corner, wearing a tanned bikini with matching gloves, hair braided as she gets into the ring, banging her gloves together as she stares at the sand, psyching herself up for this hard test ahead.

Lead out by her coach Steve Boyd, Emily struts onto the sand wearing black sunglasses that match her black string bikini and gloves, she gets into the ring before posing at the middle with hands on her hips in the classic Wonder Woman pose, grinning as she looks over Priyanka, she returns to her corner with Steve taking the glasses off.

Both fighters step to the middle with eyes locked, bouncing on their toes as the referee goes through the final instructions, told to touch gloves they do after a tense moment, more a quick swipe then solid touch as they jog to their corners, once ready the bell rings to start 10 rounds of bantamweight action.

Round 1:
At the bell both jog out their corners looking excited to test their opponent out early doors, Emily using her jab nicely as she shows off her footwork to keep Priyanka on the outside in the opening moments, the Hawkeye fighter just missing with a few short hooks as she looks to lay a marker on Emily.

After a strong opening minute from Ratajkowski, Chopra times her attack better to slip a straight then bury a jab into the chin of Emily, following up with a left/right hook combo to the body as she looks to live up to her nickname and chop down the leggy model.

Pushing back Priyanka to open up space, Emily soon finds herself back in close with a determined Chopra, both lacing each other across the face, a rifled right slams into Ratajkowski's abs to make her grunt, then an overhand left smacks across her jaw to make her retreat back with her gloves up more tightly.

Priyanka controlling the action around the ring, staying in close as she pounds the body of Emily, who lands several chopping cross punches up top, being on the back foot though she doesn't seem to be generating the power needed to ward off her opponent, meaning at the bell it's a strong start for the Indian actress, who jogs to her corner giving Emily an icy glare.

Round 2:
Dancing out her corner, Emily is doubling up her jab more as she looks to control the range, taking several digs around her abs as Priyanka has a clear plan, problem is her left dips down enough for Emily to land a right hook that knocks her a step to the side.

On comes Emily as she lands a straight through the mitts of her opponent to snap her head back, gaining control of the middle of the ring, Ratajkowski is using her long arms to pepper the guard and face of Chopra, keeping her older opponent on the back foot.

Slipping a straight at the half way point of the round allows Priyanka to close the distance, banging in three short digging body shots to make Emily groan out, back goes Emily towards the ropes before she holds onto Priyanka, getting the referee to step in to pry them apart.

While Priyanka is having some success getting to the inside, she is taking stinging punches to her face to do so, Emily moves out the way of a left cross, then lands a counter right across the face of her opponent to turn her head, driving Priyanka onto the ropes in the final moments of the round, when the bell rings it's a great round for Emily in response to her opponent.

Round 3:
Trading stiff jabs to start as Priyanka is trying to find her way in close range more easier then the last round, taking some hard counters though as Emily seems to be adapting to this sand better, bouncing on her toes around it as she is almost grinning while marking up the face of her opponent.

A straight lands flush on the forehead of Chopra to snap her head back, Emily taking the opportunity to pressure back her opponent near the ropes, where Priyanka is being herded as she is struggling a bit now, Emily landing nice clean combos as she switches up targets, showing why she is one of the elite bantamweights in the world right now.

Though Priyanka can claim that feat herself in many peoples eyes, as shown at the halfway stage when she parries aside a jab to counter with a short left uppercut, then lands a right cross to make Emily step back, momentum changing around as Chopra gets in hard digging punches on the inside, slamming another uppercut in an exchange that forces Ratajkowski to retreat backwards.

When Emily is getting close to the ropes though with thirty seconds to go, she leans out the way of a left cross, banging in a one-two square into the face of Priyanka to knock her back, with Emily getting away from the ropes looking a little relieved as she opens up again with quick fire one-two combos to finish the round on top.

Round 4:
Priyanka certainly doesn't look like throwing the towel in anytime soon, instead she pushes out her corner looking to take the fight more quickly to Emily, dipping under a jab to hammer in two short right hooks to the body, taking a straight to her forehead from a retreating Emily to create a gap again.

While she has had success the last two rounds, Emily isn't enjoying being pressed back, not getting as much space to work in as Priyanka is wisely cutting the ring off, leading to some heated exchanges between the fighters, sweat flying off of brows when cross punches go in.

Past the halfway stage of the round, Priyanka lands an uppercut that knocks Emily back a step, with Priyanka bullying her into a corner, banging away with hooks from head to torso, some even bang across the chest of Emily as she is gritting her mouthpiece.

Pulling Priyanka into a clinch, both women are pressed tightly together as Priyanka pins Emily into the corner, not wanting to give her younger foe time to breath, referee breaking them up with Emily glad to have space, throwing two to three punch combinations at her opponent to try to ward her off.

At the bell Priyanka looks to her corner with a nod, much more happier with herself for that round, Emily meanwhile looks to the heavens wondering how will she keep this determined opponent off her, Steve giving her some advice as they discuss the fight.

Round 5:
At the bell Priyanka thuds her gloves together wanting more of Emily, who stands her ground more to land some hard shots, both thudding in punches as they trade more at midrange, crowd whistles and yells for both fighters, Priyanka landing some more good body shots, again taking punches across the top of her head in response.

Emily then steps back out of the way of a left cross, drilling in a double jab to the side of Priyanka's face, followed by a right cross to knock back the Indian superstar, Priyanka doesn't look ready to give up too much ground with two short hooks after slipping a follow up straight.

Half the round gone as Priyanka tries to drive Emily into a corner, missing with a right cross, taking a counter right to her jaw, THAT'S FOLLOWED UP BY A LEFT TO HER CHIN THAT SENDS PRIYANKA DOWN ONTO HER KNEES! THAT HAS THE RATAJKOWSKI FANS JUMPING UP AND DOWN!

Strutting to the neutral corner, Emily is grinning as she stares at Priyanka, 1....2....3... Who shakes her head of cobwebs, 4...5....6... She is standing as she taps her cheeks with her gloves, referee checking her over as it seems to have been a flash knockdown, Priyanka nodding she can fight on so here they go again.

It's clear that Emily is brimming with confidence, opening up more with hooks added to her combos, while Priyanka is landing a few good single punches, she is mostly tightening her guard up as Emily looks to be getting on top of things, when the round ends Emily pumps her right fist in the air as she returns to her corner.

Round 6:
That last round was massive for Emily, as shown early by her pushing the pace now, stepping into her punches more as Priyanka finds herself covering up more, retreating near the ropes as Ratajkowski now holds the center of the ring, throwing in more punches to the abs of Chopra to try to open her up.

Getting pressed onto the ropes by the American, Priyanka has to clinch up after taking two hard digging punches into her chest, referee needing to break the glistening fighters apart as Priyanka snarls in anger, not happy being on the back foot herself.

She shows her fight to come back at Emily, knocking aside a straight to bang in two hooks to the ribs of Emily, which is starting to redden up, as soon as Priyanka gets in close Emily drags her into a front headlock, referee is again needed to pry them apart, giving Emily a warning as Priyanka looks furious by the move.

That causes Chopra to throw a few more wild punches, Ratajkowski happy for her to do so as she moves out of the way of them, countering with stiff punches, a right across the nose of Priyanka making her cry out as blood starts to run from her nostrils, Emily making her cover up for the final forty seconds as the bell rings soon enough, another solid round Ratajkowski as she jogs back to her corner with a smiling Steve happy with her work in the past two rounds.

Round 7:
Bouncing on her toes as she looks buoyant, Emily targeting the nose of Priyanka, trying to cause it to bleed again as Priyanka moves her upper body to try to dodge and sneak to the inside, punches slamming into each others heads.

Priyanka ducks under a straight to slam a right into the solar plexus of Emily, then a short left hook into the ribs of Ratajkowski, the American needing to clinch up as she finds her way towards the ropes, referee needing to step in to break them apart, foreheads grinding together as tempers are flaring up.

Emily manages to keep Priyanka back heading into the final minute, drilling in her punches around the face of Chopra, more blood flowing from the nose of the Indian as she shows her toughness to keep coming forwards, getting more in closer as the time ticks away.

A missed left cross leaves Emily open to a counter right under her ribs, a jab slams into the liver area of the model, who winces as she finds herself being driven backwards, Priyanka finally ripping through the defenses of Emily as she keeps hammering the body of the younger woman.

The round soon comes to a close with Emily holding her stomach, Steve putting an ice pack on it as Priyanka stays standing in her own corner, maybe mind games off the older fighter or she senses there is blood in the water here, her coach patches up her nose again as they discuss tactics for the next round.

Round 8:
Both have been hurt clearly but they both step out their corners ready for more, Emily doesn't quite have the same spring in her step, though her jab still seems to have a sting behind if judging by her clipping the top of Priyanka's head to keep her at bay during the opening moments of the round.

Ducking down more along with feints as she looks for routes to get in closer, Priyanka drills in several punches around the abs of Emily, who grimaces with each clean hit to them, Emily lands a hard left cross along with a straight into the face of Chopra to make her back off.

Past half way Priyanka dips under a straight to land a short uppercut to the body, Emily dips down into another short uppercut, AS A LEFT CROSS SLAMS INTO HER EAR EMILY IS GOING DOWN! ON TO ALL FOURS GOES RATAJKOWSKI!

Walking to the neutral corner, Priyanka takes a deep breath as she looks to the heavens, 1...2...3....4... Emily spits out her gumshield to help her breath more easily, 5...6...7.. She tries to get up but holds her body as she stays on her knees, 8....9... The tears come as 10 Emily is counted out!

Winner Priyanka Chopra KO Round 8

After:
Another big win for Priyanka as she gives a right fist pump in the air to her supporters, who are cheering their hearts out as their girl gets the win, she heads back to her corner, stopping to stare at Emily then shakes her head as if to say "embarrassing" about Emily crying over the pain she is in.

Steve rushes into the ring ice pack in hand, holding it onto the body of Emily as he puts his left arm around the shoulders of his fighter, who kisses his cheek as she mumbles "thank... You" the pain stopping her talking normally as she winces, Priyanka definitely lived up to her nickname here.

Helped up to her feet once she is feeling good enough to stand, Emily gets a round of applause, she was looking great till that liver shot caught her out, that begun the spiral to this defeat, Emily sits on her stool in her corner happy to get a drink and can recover off the sand.

In the winners corner Priyanka gets a pat on the back after her nose is patched up, tissue up her nostrils as she gets the good news her nose isn't broken, she laughs as she admits "if it were I would be crying on that beach instead" coach laughing back, Priyanka is wiped down as she raises her arms in the air while looking at the fans on that side of the ring.

Soon the fighters both come to the center of the ring, the look they exchange shows there is still tension between them, maybe more then when they stepped into the ring, Priyanka gets her right hand raised as Emily ruefully nods, knowing tonight she was second best, it could have easily been her hand raised in victory though.

Leaving the ring, Emily will need to put her title aspirations on hold a little longer, she tells Steve she doesn't want to be out the ring long, getting a smile from the coach, though the kiss on the cheek may not go unnoticed in the Vixens stable with a certain Alexis Ren.

In the ring Priyanka poses with hands on her hips, giving a menacing look to the cameras, soon she leaves the ring after bowing to each side to show her thanks to the crowd for their support, blowing kisses as she heads off the beach, Priyanka is a top fighter in her own right, maybe she is starting to grab some of the spotlight herself now.
