BEFORE:
A warm welcome to Caesars Palace Hotel and Casino! We’re here in the Augustus Ballroom, ready for another action-packed card of celebrity boxing!

As per the event’s namesake, we’ve got plenty of guest fighters on the VIX line-up, including Odds & Ends’ newly crowned Bantamweight Champion, Demi Rose, who looks to add to her growing collection of trinkets by reclaiming her JMD title against the one and only Emily Ratajkowski.

We also have a Doll on the card tonight, with punk princess, Hayley Williams, set to go against British actress, Emma Watson.

Finally, there’s a dual set of Kings on tonight’s card, with sisters Joey and Hunter King set to do battle with Nell Tiger Free and Alyssa Lynch, respectively. Thank you for joining us tonight and we hope you have fun!

The opening fight sees guests Nell Tiger Free aim to continue her winning streak against Emilia’s Empresses’ Joey King. King enters the ballroom earlier in a simple black sports bra, long black tights and white gloves on either hand. She pauses by the apron to speak to the assembled press.

“Nell’s still relatively new and fresh to the boxing scene. She’s still finding her bearings in the ring. She may have the height advantage, but I’ve got my punching power,” Joey says, smiling to the camera whilst shaking a fist in the air. “I guarantee I’ll punch her out in five rounds or less.”

Nell’s entrance, by contrast, is muted but growing in momentum, the British blonde looking stunning in a pale green bikini top and dark blue hot denim shorts, waving black gloves into the air as her name is announced by the official. She grins when reporters ask her how she’s feeling about her chances of winning tonight.

“Happy to be back, as always. I’m getting more fight offers than some other girls around here in recent months. I’ve also heard that King’s quite a hitter, so I’m happy to test myself against her mettle.”

Ladies square off in the middle of the ring in a silent staredown, apart from the referee’s droneless machinations, and then they head back to their corners without a touch of the gloves. It’s the first fight of the night and already, it features a King versus a Tiger! There’s the bell and HERE WE GO with ten rounds of Flyweight action!

ROUND 1:
Some hesitant movements kickstart this event, as Joey and Nell move inwards with their fists raised up, but do little else but dance and swerve to avoid each other. Joey’s the fighter with more experience, and it shows, the blonde initiating the conversation with punches smacked to the guard, trying to test out and see how firm those defences of Nell’s are. Tiger Free still ain’t that used to fighting for her life yet, taking the attacks with grunts and slight winces, but not doing much else to defend her honour. She resorts to jabs here and there that bash harmlessly into King’s arms. Towards the end of the round, however, both girls suddenly pick up the pace, realising that time’s short if they want to win this first outing. Nell lands a couple of fast jabs to the blonde’s face but gets chased off by King moments later when the American returns with a stiff blow to her arms, almost taking her head off with a swerving hook to the side of the ears. In our opinion, Joey edges out a win in the first round, but not by much.

ROUND 2:
Nell quickly finds her groove, however, the British blonde coming in faster and with tighter movements. She kicks off the action in the second with a sudden pounding off King’s arms, then her tummy, briefly shocking the bigger girl back with a show of surprise and dominance. King’s doing a good job of blocking more attacks to her head, however, the rest of her body’s left open as Nell repeatedly snags a glancing shot off her tummy, then switches to another fast flurry off her arms. Slowly, King finds her own footing, planting her feet late in the round to surprise Nell right back with a hook off the top of her forehead, a grazing shot that sends Tiger Free reeling backwards with caution as well. It’s a little too late for Joey to salvage this round, but at least she manages to end it with some momentum of her own.

ROUND 3:
Just as we predicted, King is the one storming in more strongly at the opening bell, rocking Nell to her lower arms with a strapping hook and then lunging at her head with an uppercut out of nowhere. Not all of the punches land with precision, however, but it’s more than enough to scare the living daylights out of Nell, who goes scampering backwards with loud shrieks and yelps. Another right cross is driven straight into the British girl’s arms, making her grunt and fall backwards a couple of paces, her back already too close to the ropes for comfort. This was what we were talking about earlier, folks! It’s King’s power on full display as she gives chase, swiping another stiff hook off the tummy before sending one into the side of Nell’s head. Bell rings, however, and we guess it could have been a whole lot worse for Nell Tiger Free, who’s left breathing hard but still standing by her own corner, wondering how the hell she survived that onslaught.

ROUND 4:
Here comes Joey again, hoping to mop up and show her sister how it’s done! The Kings are definitely on fire tonight, and want to make a statement on the indie boxing circuit. Joey makes an early LUNGE for Nell’s head in the very first minute, but unfortunately misses as Nell goes swerving back, then jabbing to keep her foe at bay. King eats shots to her face instead even as she barrels inwards and in, her repeated lunges at Nell’s body just a little too far away to land effectively, and made worse with Tiger Free showing off her technical skill as the newcomer Brit maintains a good distance throughout the exchange. It’s only in the final minute does King switch her stances and tactics, jabbing back at Nell’s face and scoring some nice cuffs off the cheek. Not the explosive finish that Joey was expecting, but the fight is still young, just like these two’s on-screen careers!

ROUND 5:
King is obviously slowing down from the constant chasing, and she’s taking in deeper breaths at the start of the fifth, her shoulders and chest heaving hard, taking the first minute to recuperate. But what she doesn’t expect is a sudden BURST of action from Nell Tiger Free, who was traditionally seen as a safe, cautious bet by the fight pundits, not this aggressive TIGRESS who POUNCES in with a sudden overhand hook! Joey lets out a yelp as she goes stumbling back, one of her arms still hanging awkwardly in mid-air after trying to intercept the surprise attack with a raised guard. Nell’s not letting up her assault, however, continues taking rapid swings at King’s head, hoping to knock her about silly and finally regain the advantage. Joey’s body is lurching left and right as Tiger Free stays atop of her, Nell swinging low shots into her stomach for effect. All of a sudden, an uppercut CUTS in and down the middle, landing square on the baseline of Joey’s chin!! OUCH!! King’s strings are CUT in a flash, the shorter blonde immediately collapsing onto her back, her arms splayed above her head on the canvas!! What a show! It’s a KNOCKDOWN for Nell Tiger Free! Could this be it?!

Tiger Free smiles and waves to the crowds, her shoulders bobbing up and down in premature excitement before she returns back to the neutral corner to await the referee’s count. Meanwhile, Joey King is stirring, only slightly, her blonde hair messy and frayed over her face, loose strands getting blown outwards as her heavy breaths show the effort she’s putting into the recovery process. King’s eyes are shut the entire time, but her inner resolve allows her to get back to her feet by the count of 8. The only problem is that there’s still two minutes left on the clock, which King will have to survive if she wants to make it to the next round.

Nell looks ready to go as well, her arms up and just waiting for the referee’s signal to continue. There’s the wave of the arm and bell to resume, AND HERE COMES THE TIGER! King’s POUNCED on by the taller girl, who eschews caution to the wind and immediately slaps a one-two cuffing strike to her face, and continues King’s downwards spiral! King’s getting womanhandled in there, her back pressed into the ropes and her head getting tossed to the side with repeated blows landing left and right of her head... Tiger Free’s planting her feet firm in front of the battered blonde and then going to town on her wilting frame, sending another hook across her face before the referee decides to STEP IN and stop this madness!! That’s it!! Joey King MELTS into his stunted figure as Nell turns away with her arms up in the air! It’s OVER via TKO in the fifth round!

Official Decision: Nell Tiger Free defeats Joey King via TKO5!

AFTER:

Another dominant showing from Nell Tiger Free, whose only loss on her resume to date being against the former Flyweight champion, Lily Collins. Already, there are talks of a rematch on the cards, especially given how often Nell is appearing on these VIX shows.

“Like I said, I’m just happy to be here and kick some ass,” Nell says, with a jubilant smile on her face when she speaks to reporters later by ring-side. “Joey f*cking hit hard, I’ll tell you that. She’s brilliant, that girl. I hope we meet again after she gets a little better.”

Meanwhile, King is still giddy in the ring, holding onto her fight team’s shoulders even as she’s brought back to her corner. The blonde fighter at first can’t believe the outcome of the fight, especially when she had Nell on the ropes early on, only to get careless towards the middle mark and left herself open to attack.

“We’re both rookies, and that means mistakes happen,” Joey says later with a sigh. “And mark my words: tonight was a mistake. I should have won, and I can bet that Nell is bound to screw up one day as well. And when that happens, I’ll make sure to pay her back for tonight.”
