Intro:
Classic brunette vs blonde battle here as Kaya Scodelario takes on Caity Lotz, both wanting to be in the bantamweight title picture, especially with a fresh face leading the division, who will emerge on top tonight between these top twenty ranked fighters.

Heading into the fight both women were asked for their opinions in the media area by the FCBA Network's Alicia Atout, first up was Kaya as she stood wearing a black dress, she nods to Alicia as she looks serious, being asked what her opinion on this fight is, she replies "I have wanted this fight for awhile but Caity kept missing the mark and I had to wait around for her to be good enough" a verbal slap right off the bat for her opponent.

Asked to clarify what she means by that, Kaya responds "well I see Caity is physical strong and fit but that hasn't translated to anything, she can lift weighs, do yoga and run mile after mile all she wants, if you don't train hard skill wise you won't do anything and frankly I don't think she is tough enough to dig down to compete with the likes of me" definitely no holding back from Scodelario.

"I want the title and Caity is a little road block I will run over, she'll learn first hand why all her whining is pointless" adds Kaya, who then gives Alicia a quick wave before she heads off, even coming in off a defeat to Elizabeth Olsen hasn't effected her confidence clearly.

Caity meanwhile comes over to Alicia later wearing a navy blue dress, she is all smiles as she waves to the interviewer, when she is asked about the fight she answers "it has been too long since I had the buzz of a crowd around me as I go toe to toe with a rival" her smile widening as she is clearly excited.

Then she gets a little more serious as she adds "though Kaya isn't exactly who I want, sure she is a former champion, I want a shot at the title soon, I'll happily out work Kaya to move closer to my goal" nodding as she talks to Alicia.

The final question is why she doesn't get many fights, Caity laughs as she replies "because I am too dangerous for most of these so called elite fighters to challenge, look who our champion is right now, she literally is a fat ass bytch who couldn't do half the things I do in training, yet because she is all tits and ass, she gets opportunities, that will change soon enough as I run through the field to get to the top" grinning as she puts hands on her hips in the classic power pose, then leaves to go chat to other national news crews.

Fight night, out first comes Kaya with coach Hilary Swank and cut woman Eva Carneiro, Kaya jogs to the ring looking relaxed, she is wearing a black and red chequered sports bra, matching trunks, black shoes, red gloves, while her hair is in a ponytail, she steps foot in the ring raising her arms in the air to acknowledge her supporters as they cheer her.

Now here comes Caity with her coach, she looks intense staring at the ring while bouncing on her toes at the top of the aisle, banging her white gloves together she says "let's do this!" To smiles from her coach, she is wearing a white sports bra, matching trunks and shoes, her hair is in a ponytail too as she climbs into the ring, fist bumping her coach before she warms up with a loud cheer from her supporters.

Referee waves the fighters together at the middle of the ring to hear the final instructions, neither really blinking as they lock eyes, shaking their limbs to keep loose as the tension is there to see, swiping their gloves with their opponent's, they jog back to their corners to a loud cheer, once ready the bell rings to start 10 rounds of bantamweight action.

Round 1:
Out their corners they come with eyes locked, probing each others defenses to begin as they fight around the middle, neither wanting to make a mistake, even after all their tough talk before the fight, with Kaya the first to land a meaningful blow as she steps back out the way of a left cross, landing a counter right to the cheek of Lotz.

The fighters start to open up more as they head towards the end of the first minute, Caity blocks a straight with her left glove, landing a right into the chest of Kaya, then slams a left hook to turn the head of the Brit, with Caity starting to motor now that she is on the front foot.

Back along the ropes goes Kaya, she covers up as Caity works the body of the former champion, muscling her back when Kaya tries to fight off the ropes, several short uppercuts to the body of Scodelario lands to make her grit her mouthpiece as Lotz is working her over till she can clinch up.

When they are broken apart, Kaya is more on her bike, catching her opponent coming at her with straight shots to the face, Caity bobbing her head around more to dodge then strike with a straight of her own, forcing the issue as the time ticks away in the round, at the bell it's a great start for Caity, Kaya maybe showing she underestimated the dangerous blonde early doors here.

Round 2:
Stepping out her corner full of confidence from the opening round, Caity is pushing the pace early on with two punch combos, when she looks comfortable though Kaya slips a straight to land a counter uppercut that knocks back Kaya onto her heels.

Caity is getting a quick reminder why Kaya is a former champion, the brunette drilling her own punches into the lips of Caity, moving back to range when the hits start coming back, Lotz tries to catch her with a right hook that finds air, leading to a one-two striking Caity flush into her right cheek to knock her back a step.

Caity does get in a good shot when Kaya is the one trying to drive forwards, with a left cross smacking the brunette on her jaw, followed by a straight into the lips of Scodelario to give her a taste of her own medicine, more into comes Caity as she quickens the pace, both women slamming in hard cross punches as both mean business.

As they enter the final forty five seconds, Caity gets a jab onto her chin, Kaya ducks a left cross to then come up with an overhand right that turns the head of Lotz around, leading to Kaya driving Caity into a neutral corner, where she has the American shelling up in the final moments of the round, this time at the bell it's a solid round in Kaya's favour.

Round 3:
Both have now shown the other their class, stances more open now as they clash around the middle of the ring, Caity trying to outwork Kaya as she said in the build, Kaya landing the cleaner punches in return as they both start to show sweat on their brows.

Kaya manages to split a right cross to land an overhand left to the side of Caity's head, a straight follows to knock back Caity onto her heels, with Kaya now pressing her onto the ropes, forcing the blonde to clinch up with her, getting the referee to break the grappling pair off the ropes and back into space.

Where this time Caity catches Kaya stepping in with a right across her jaw, Caity follows up with more ramrod like punches that smack back Kaya into a neutral corner, Kaya can be heard groaning out as Caity whacks away to the body like a lumberjack cutting down a tree, this time Scodelario needs to hold on and force the referee to get involved.

As they resume it is Caity quicker off the mark, catching out Kaya with a left cross/straight combo, less then a minute to go with Kaya shelling up as Caity bullies her around the ring, crowd on it's feet cheering for both women as this is one energetic war, when the round ends Caity raises her right glove in the air to show she took this round for her fans.

Round 4:
Back out they come with Caity out the gates quickly with a one-two combo into the body of Kaya, she takes a right cross to the side of her head in return, Kaya needing to be told to keep at range, steps back with a double jab catching the American into her lips, which trickle blood now from a cut on the bottom lip.

A target Kaya starts targeting now with her shots, Caity hissing out each time she gets hit flush, gamely coming forwards to work away as the crowd again chant both fighters name, a missed straight by Lotz leaves her open to a one-two into the left cheek as Kaya is showing her class again.

Taking the center of the ring after pounding in a double jab to the face of her opponent, Kaya has Caity covering up as we pass the half way mark of the round, pressing her to the ropes with two short rights to the body, Caity's coach telling her to fight back.

Which she soon does as Kaya tries to keep her pressed onto the ropes, several cross punches smack into the side of the brunette's head, Caity reversing their positions by using her left behind Kaya's head to wrestle her around, where Caity now has Kaya covering up as the pounding body shots fly in.

At the end of the round Caity lifts her arms up as Kaya scowls at her, both stay standing a moment with their eyes locked, referee needing to nudge them to their corners as they are really growing to hate the sight of the other.

Round 5:
Coming back out to fight their eyes are full of determination, Caity starts off on the front foot with a double jab/straight combo that knocks back the head of Kaya, who finds herself soon enough worked into a neutral corner, the thuds from Caity's hard body shots can be heard in the front row, Kaya needing to hang onto Caity to stop the assault.

When they resume fighting Kaya catches out an aggressive Caity with a counter right across the cut lip, three punches slam straight into Caity's face as now the roles are reversed, with the beautiful blonde being knocked back into a neutral corner, where Kaya dishes out the pain with short hooks till she is clinched up.

After that things are being fought more evenly and scruffy, elbows being dug into chests as they shove their opponent back, cross punches landing before they fall into a clinch, grappling hard as the referee has a hard time breaking them apart.

Late in the round they go toe to toe, slamming punches hard into each others beautiful faces, both now with cut lips as blood drips off their chins to their busts, at the bell they barely hold back as the crowd are on their feet roaring, loving this slugfest developing, coaches needing to herd their fighters to their corners to get them patched up.

Round 6:
Trading early on around the middle of the ring, Kaya has been told to stick to boxing Caity and not brawling, she moves back when Caity is trying to close the distance between them, with Caity eating a hard right into her lips, AN UPPERCUT LANDS ON THE CHIN OF LOTZ, SENDING HER TO HER BUM!

Kaya jogs to the neutral corner raising her right arm in the air as the crowd whistle and cheer, 1...2...3... Caity shakes her head as she tries to shake the cobwebs, 4...5...6... Caity pushes to her knees, watching the count not looking badly hurt, 7...8.. She gets to her feet, nodding to the referee as she raises her fists, wanting more with the referee letting her continue.

The fighters step back together to fight, Kaya now pressing the action, looking to end the fight now, Caity showing she has fight left in her as she dodges to land counter punches, then she crouches under a right cross, LANDING A RIGHT FLUSH INTO THE LIVER OF KAYA, WHO GASPS AS SHE FALLS ONTO ALL FOURS!

How the tables have turned so quickly! Kaya now in pain as Caity stares angrily at her, needing to be ordered twice to go to the neutral corner, 1...2...3... Kaya spits out her gumshield to breath more easily, 4...5...6.. She is kicking the canvas with her right foot, 7....8... Kaya is in agony as 9..10 it's over, Kaya is out!

Winner Caity Lotz KO Round 6

After:
Arguably this is the biggest victory in Caity's career, the winner jumping up for a moment as she is smiling warmly to her corner, the crowd chanting her name as she turns to face them, arms in the air as this feels like a turning point in her career.

On the other hand Kaya is feeling horrible right now, red faced sobbing as she has to be helped to kneel by her coach, Hilary placing an ice pack onto the stomach of Kaya to try to numb the pain she is in, though it won't numb the pain knowing she was on top in that round before one punch sent her crumbling down to the canvas.

Once Caity has her gloves taken off she heads towards Kaya, mockingly asking her "oh so you didn't fight me because I wasn't good enough huh? Whose the one on her knees sobbing like a bytch?" Kaya staring angrily at the winner, who gets the referee to raise her right hand so Kaya can see up close who won.

Hilary helps Kaya up and out the ring, another bruising defeat for Scodelario tonight, who started to fight her opponents style, Hilary not saying much as Eva holds the ice pack against their fighters body, just telling Kaya things will get better.

While the winner taps her abs with a cheeky wink to the camera, walking around the ring with her arms in the air on a victory lap, her supporters rightly overjoyed that she scored this win, soon she steps out the ring with her coach beside her, all smiles as they walk to the back, this could be the start of Caity's rise to a title.
