BEFORE: It's another local test for Minka Kelly who targets fellow Los Angeles native Willa Holland while on Hall of Fame countdown. The LCA southpaw defeated Hunter King earlier this month and tells Scrubby McGee she's gonna chalk up these names whom she never fought before: "They're all younger than me so they ought to have some advantage, right? Poor Hunter couldn't get it done but maybe Willa catches me off guard?" (giggles).

In fact it's Minka's cheerful demeanour that catches many fans by surprise however Willa takes it personally and vows to make everyone forget she lost to Samia Ghadie last year, a result that has seemingly removed her from any serious contention since.

Round 1:
Willa jumps into a hectic assault and tries to deliver immediate slam dunk combo to stamp her authority on this bout but she cuts a chaotic figure that Minka neutralizes with her footwork alone even though it's a dangerous idea with Holland running on all cylinders here. The execution proves to be the younger brunette's downfall as she has Kelly on the retreat but struggles to land more than a single punch and bounces off the forearms too often. She stays in the slugging lane and hopes to trap Minka in a genuine trap but gets whacked over the top down the stretch as the older brunette has seemingly lost patience with this approach and tries to steal it late instead. However Willa blocks her off and pings a rare harpoon drive to the body before a clash of heads slows the action right down in the closing seconds.

Round 2:
Another quick start from the younger brunette who swings upstairs but keeps shooting by Minka's head and just can't follow through at all before the southpaw response nails her across the nose. Ugh! Minka bangs in a right/left combo for starters and drills the exposed stomach with Holland unable to react in time. She gets caught on her heels and stumbles to the side while Minka forges ahead with a half-uppercut delivery that backs the fellow brunette onto the ropes. Willa tries to spin out of the trap but gets busted on the nose with another swift combo and wobbles forward to meet a crushing left uppercut on the jaw that SENDS HER CRASHING DOWN ONTO HER KNEES moments later. Uh-oh!! Too easy for the Minkster!!! The Lioness brunette walks slowly to coach Eva Mendes and shrugs her shoulders as if she expected more resistance from the fellow LA woman. However Willa looks to be all done here as she holds her jaw in visible distress and sits down on her heels while the merciless count passes her by. KO2 Minka Kelly!!!

AFTER: Talk about this being a glorified sparring session for Minka! It seems like Willa hasn't recovered from that Samia Ghadie defeat after all and needs to discover the boxing fire again. She'd be better off fighting a lesser competition than the future Hall of Famer who is only EIGHT fights away from joining the elusive club. Next up? A certain singer with big ego on the Fight Night Live PPV.
