Intro:
It hasn't been a great past month for Hilary Rhoda or Hannah Davis, Hilary suffered an upset defeat to new star Megan Thee Stallion on last months PPV, while Hannah lost her place in the Fates Boxing stable, so who will be able to bounce back tonight and head into the autumn campaign with some wind in their sails?

FCBA Network reporter Alicia Atout got some words in the media area the day before the fight, first getting to chat to Hilary, who wore a red dress with gold trim, she smiled to Alicia as they exchanged pleasantries, Alicia is quickly in though asking about the Megan defeat, Hilary answering "I took her too lightly I guess" shrugging her shoulders.

Hilary then adds "but to be clear Megan has lit a fire in me, I was coasting the past few months waiting for a title shot, so I hope Megan doesn't think she has seen the last of me, when the time is right we will fight again and hell we can do it on the same beach if she wants, we seemed to get a lot of people talking so I am happy to make her famous in another way, flat on her back looking up at me" hands on her hips as she looks ready to fight now.

Alicia points out she is fighting Hannah this time around, asking if she isn't making the same mistake of looking beyond an opponent, Hilary answers "Hannah doesn't bother me one bit, she lost her spot in the Fates stable because for the second time in her career she couldn't handle being part of a stable, she can't handle me in the ring either" Alicia nodding as Hilary then bids her goodbye.

Hannah meanwhile is wearing a white dress with silver trim, not looking too particularly pleased to be talking to the media, she sighs as Alicia comes to her, saying "OK while I have answered the national press this several times, there is no ill will between me and the Fates Boxing management, I thank them for giving me a shot and I am honestly sorry it didn't work out, it was fun while it lasted" Hannah looks miserable when she finishes saying that.

Alicia quickly asks about Hilary, making Hannah look up a little annoyed, replying "oh I have heard all the crap she has said about me, just because she is still sore being put on her bum by a novice, I guess she has been drinking too much champagne with her bestie (Hannah) Ferguson, she calls herself an elite fighter, yet she sucks up to one like a leech, I hope for Fergie's sake she doesn't drag her down... OK maybe I do" grinning as that seems to lift her spirits.

She then finishes by saying "imagine the pain in her face when I beat her, Hilary is the worst of the so called elite, if you haven't noticed there is a new wave of fighter starting to come through in the welterweight division and I still believe I can be one of those stars" Hannah then leaves as definitely plenty of spite between these two women.

Fight night, first out comes Hilary with her coach Rebecca Romijn and cut woman Eva Carneiro, she looks in a mood as she marches down the aisle, she is wearing a black sports bra with three thin white stripes down the sides, matching trunks and shoes, white gloves, hair is braided, she steps into the ring getting a loud cheer, fist bumping Rebecca with a nod, Rhoda doesn't seem in the mood for a repeat of last month.

Now here comes Hannah with her new coach, she doesn't look much happier on her walk to the ring, even as her supporters whistle and cheer her on, she is wearing a white sports bra with baby blue trim, matching trunks and shoes, with baby blue gloves, her hair is in a ponytail as she slides through the ropes into the ring, banging her gloves together as she paces in her corner.

Referee brings the fighters to the middle of the ring, where the tension between them is clear to see as they stare hard into each others eyes, when the final instructions are finished up, both bang their gloves forcefully into their opponent's, returning to their corners to loud cheers, the bell rings to start 10 rounds of welterweight action.

Round 1:
At the bell both fighters come out to the center of the ring clearly wanting to release some anger on each other, slamming in several cross punches along with jabs, Hannah crouches to whack the body of her opponent, trying to push her to the ropes, instead finding herself being nudged back as they aren't holding back.

Hilary catches Hannah with a short right across her jaw when she tries to step inside, a double jab now snaps back the head of Davis as she is forced to backpedal, while Hannah tries to strike clean shots off her back foot, a left cross turns her head when it lands on her cheek.

Gritting her mouthpiece as she digs in several punches to the chest of Hilary to stop her bulldozing right through her, Hannah gets off the ropes and is able to get back to work, both landing hard shots on the inside, with the blonde coming up with an uppercut to now push Rhoda onto her heels, smartly Hilary grabs onto Hannah in a clinch, forcing the referee to pry them apart.

Resuming fighting with under a minute to go, after a little back and force action, Hilary steps back out the way of a right cross, landing a straight that snaps back the head of her opponent, then follows with a left hook to cause Hannah to cover up, Hilary finishing strong as she whacks in hooks around the guard of Davis to the body, when the bell rings to end the round both fighters scowl at each other, before turning on their heels to return to their corners.

Round 2:
Here comes Hannah out the gates quickly, not wanting a repeat of the last round, drilling in more straights to the body, Hilary scoring some clean shots into the face of the beautiful blonde, then Hannah scores maybe her best punch of the fight with an overhand right to the side of Hilary's head as the former champion has her left a little too low.

Driving Hilary onto the ropes, Hannah is testing those toned firm abs of her opponent with short bursts of body shots, groans escape the lips of Hilary as she isn't being given much room to work, forcing her to hold onto Hannah and force them to be broken up, both moving off the ropes as they clearly are fired up.

After the good start Davis clearly wants to build on it, Rhoda though is catching her with clean shots back into her face, with a one-two combo landing cleanly on the nose of Hannah to cause blood to start flowing from her nostrils, Hannah gamely keeps coming forwards to work.

She is soon rewarded with a chance to strike after crouching under a right cross, landing a straight into the breadbasket of Hilary, Hannah catches her with an overhand left that turns the head of the brunette, who again is pressed backwards onto the ropes, where things get scruffy as they fight in close, Hannah looking the happier to do so to the bell, where there's a shove from Hilary to get Hannah off her, leading to some heated words as the referee holds them apart, back to their corners they go.

Round 3:
Now looking to build off the last round Hannah again comes out guns blazing, Hilary smartly boxes off the back foot, soon enough the brunette leans out the way of a left cross, pounding in a counter right across the nose of Davis, then a jab follows square onto it, bring a few little tears to the eyes of Hannah.

Not looking a gift horse in the mouth, Hilary throws digging punches right through the guard of Hannah to that busted up nose, Hannah crying out as she is being backed up, A LEFT HOOK LANDS ACROSS THE NOSE AND DOWN GOES HANNAH HOLDING IT, LAYING ON HER LEFT SIDE SOBBING!

Hilary waves Hannah to get up as maybe her temper is getting the better of her there, referee nudging her to the neutral corner, 1...2...3.. Hannah looks to have her fighting spirit torn out of her right now, 4...5...6.. There's blood dripping from her nose to the canvas, 7....8...9...10 it's over! Hannah is down for the count!

Winner Hilary Rhoda KO Round 3

After:
What a brutal way to end the fight, Hilary was clearly trying to break the nose of Hannah there, maybe seeing her as Megan Thee Stallion for a moment as Hilary raises her gloves in the air, staring daggers at the defeated fighter before Rebecca comes to pat her on her back and they head back to their corner.

Hannah's coach with the ringside doctor check on her, the doctor gives her good news that her nose isn't broken, though it still is clearly hurting badly as Hannah is sobbing, rubbing her eyes with her hands now her gloves are off.

Moments later Hannah climbs out the ring with a towel that holds an ice pack being held against her nose, Hannah looks utterly dejected as she walks back up the aisle to the back, losing her stable and now losing like this really seems to have hurt her badly, maybe a mini break will do her the world of good to recharge and come back guns blazing.

The winner though doesn't care as she heads to the center of the ring, Hilary getting her right hand raised in victory, then she points at the nearest camera to say "that'll be you Megan soon enough" raising her right fist to the camera as if to promise that, Rebecca nodding as she knows that Hilary will to get revenge, hoping she doesn't forget these other fighters in the division.

The Girls Friday crew step out the ring together, Hilary waving to the crowd as they cheer her on, maybe a fired up Hilary is what she has been missing since she lost her title several years ago, she looks in a better mood when getting to the top of the aisle, smiling as she heads to the back.
