BEFORE:
“Never thought I’d be facing off against royalty,” Hannah smirks from the press table earlier, her long, dirty blonde locks curled and flowing over both shoulders. “Emma’s certainly made some noise as the latest Welterweight on the block. But it ends tonight. I’ll show her how the top girls in this division get things done.”

Corrin, on the other hand, is looking entirely comfortable during her time in the limelight - a little too comfortable and familiar to the real-life persona she’s supposed to be portraying. The British short-haired blonde smiles and grins and waves with rehearsed form when she enters the press hall earlier, taking her seat with a sly smile and shirk of her shoulders, portraying a well-practiced innocence.

“Thrilled, of course, to receive the title opportunity so early in my career. Then again, I recall Hannah having the same sort of runway before she first took the reins. Only natural I follow in her footsteps, one way or another…” Corrin smirks as she says. “I’m also proud to represent my stable, GBS, and hope that I can finally take back a championship for my stablemates and friends.”

Gentle words and graceful movements, however, all fade away once the two blondes face down at the podium. Hannah acting cocky, stripped down to nothing but a red bathing suit, fists cocked high and daring Emma to come in closer. Corrin obliges, that short-haired pixie top the only identifying feature after the Crown Princess herself strips down to a fishnet mesh that hugs her skin wrapped in a micro black bikini.

Hours later, it’s the same pose they’re striking from within the ring itself, with Corrin refusing to back away from the champion’s confidence, that smirk never leaving her face as she stares her down. Back to their corners we go, and the referee is quick to signal for the opening bell. HERE WE GO with ten rounds of Welterweight action! This here’s for the Unified Welterweight Title!

ROUND 1:
Emma moves in with purpose, shrugging off most of the early blows from Hannah as the champion also gets busy with fist-work. Emma’s probably seen as a soft target for Hannah’s early combos, the Vixen taking the fight to the challenger with left-right-left combos striking the arms at a consistent rate. Corrin’s taking the punishment well though, begins hitting back with her own counter-combos that slam into Hannah’s face, earning herself several grunts. Ferguson may be the champ here but she shouldn’t underestimate this determined newcomer to the boxing world, with Corrin showing off some of her own power down the line with another step-in blast to the chin that sends Hannah reeling back, stunned but not exactly hurt. Round ends and it’s the challenger who has taken the opening salvo by a wide margin!

ROUND 2:
Ferguson gets serious soon after, however, staying back and exchanging jabs with Corrin from afar. This time, Emma doesn’t feel the pressure and instead tries to meet Hannah blow for blow, which is a mistake. The more experienced fighter comes out on top, Ferguson able to predict and telegraph Emma’s attacks before they land and then fire her own precise gloves into the Brit’s body and chin. Emma’s face frequently takes the abuse throughout the three minutes, her head snapping back when another lunging, low-rising uppercut from Ferguson cuts through her arms and slams into her chin late in the round. Hannah caught smirking this time at the bell, raising one of her arms high into the air as she heads back to the corner, content with evening out the fight.

ROUND 3:
Corrin’s still full of youthful energy, however, decides to take the fight to the champion in an early rush forward. Hannah’s shocked, to say the least, leaping out of the way of a sudden overhand right but then getting caught on the arms with a follow-up left hook. Emma’s taking the rest of the ring space by storm, just like how she did the same with her on-screen portrayal of Princess Diana in The Crown, rocking Hannah to the body with another strapping hook before trying to blast the champ off her feet with a final swish up high. Ferguson counters soon after, however retaining her balance at a distance, her arms up in anticipated defense and then sending jabs towards Emma’s face to dissuade her. Wide round for the challenger, who might make short work of her foe tonight if she can keep this kind of pressure up.

ROUND 4:
But Hannah is also adapting well, side-stepping a raging short-haired blonde early in the fourth to allow one of Emma’s big crosses to sail harmlessly by. A return right catches Corrin on those rosy cheeks of hers, drawing a painful grunt from her lips. Hannah capitalises, wading in for a good thirty seconds to bash the blonde to the arms and body, taking swipes at her British abs to push Emma’s lead away by force. Emma suddenly feels the pressure, covering up and trying to make herself look small, arms locked over her head but the rest of her frame still shaking and shook by some thunderous hits to the midriff. Round ends and we have the first clinch of the evening, Emma surging in to try and deny Hannah a possible knockdown attempt. Say what you want: this relative rookie knows a thing or two besides the simple jab and weave.

ROUND 5:
Emma goes back to basics, employing her power to make a statement early with a cross-hand to the middle of the arms, another thunderous shot to the tummy has Hannah gutted and breathing hard in the opening minute. Hannah allowed her guard to grow too loose and too high, going north when Emma was aiming south. Now, the champ is fending off more big hands flying towards her, as Emma hopes to score an upset knockdown before the middle mark of this fight. Ferguson not making it easy, of course, bobbing and weaving as she retreats, on occasion stunning Emma back to the face with a testy right hand. Corrin, however, dominates the rest of the round by repeatedly claiming ground, hounding the Vixen with a constant stream of swings and prods to her head. Maybe that’s all it will take in the end to edge out a decision win for the lucky Brit.

ROUND 6:
Hannah stands her ground in the sixth, however, meeting Corrin head-on in the middle of the ring as both girls THROW DOWN for a good thirty seconds, fists flying both ways as they punish each other to the head and body to see who’s the better woman. Hannah going for her textbook right hook but failing to land clean, rocking Emma to the ear but powerless to intercept a return number from the challenger, Corrin responding in kind with a bangin’ hook off the tummy before a follow-up hook SLAMS hard into Hannah’s chin, which sends the Vixen packing!! OUCH!! The champ’s in trouble as she goes stumbling to the side, this time looking butt-hurt and slack-jawed in shock! Emma’s the younger fighter with more hunger in her eyes, giving chase and continuing to BASH away at Hannah’s arms and body, taking absolutely NO quarter! Hannah eats another cross to the chin and DOWN SHE GOES, FLAT-LINED onto her back by that clothesline to the jaw!! COULD THIS BE IT EARLY?!

Emma’s already leaping into the air, a big smirk on her face as the Brit runs back to her corner to celebrate, even mounting the turnbuckle and thudding her chest with her fists! Hannah, however, is slowly shaking her own head, rising back up to meet the challenger head-on. Quite a scare from the VIX corner, but it’s clear their girl is more shaken than stirred, as the referee waves for the rest of this fight to continue once Hannah recovers by the count of 8. This championship fight is going ahead at full steam!

ROUND 7:
Emma’s cocky face is still an insufferable reminder to Hannah that she went down in the previous round. Here, the short-haired blonde comes again, streaking inwards like she wants to finish this fight and head backstage for some celebratory tea and biscuits. Hannah not allowing her the win so easily, of course, skirting the ropes as she fends off another blitz attack, with Emma firing off more combos that end with big crosses or straight-hands to try and ding the chin once more. Ferguson, however, keeps her cool, calmly dismantles the younger woman’s attacks with a parry to the left, a retaliatory hook sent across her face to end the round and stall her assault. Emma looks stunned for a moment when she takes yet another swipe across her chest, but Hannah’s third textbook hook is the one that seals the deal, taking advantage of Corrin’s almost stationary position to ROCK her hard across her face!! UGHH!! AND IT’S CORRIN’S TURN TO GO DOWN!! Ferguson’s own moves NOT to be underestimated as the champion exerts her own power on the hapless newcomer! Corrin’s down on all fours, groaning into the canvas, trying to sit back up as the referee begins the count in turn!

Hannah with a confident nod on her approach back to the neutral corner - a very different reaction to her own KNOCKDOWN attempt just barely minutes ago in the seventh. She takes the time to rest and catch her breath for the quarter of the fight to come, whilst Emma is desperately attempting to scramble back to her feet to beat the count. The challenger manages as much, but still looks a little shaky on her feet as she recovers by the count of 8. Regardless of who wins tonight, each fighter is giving it their all!

ROUND 8:
Slow and steady might win the race, as Hannah continues to make short work of the overeager, starting-to-panic Brit. Emma lets out grunts as her face gets tagged repeatedly by snap jabs directed to her nose and lips, at times throwing herself wide open when she ROARS in all of a sudden to try and take Hannah off her feet for a final time. No dice, however, as Hannah predicts her erratic movements, skirting backwards out of the way or simply weaving her upper torso to one side as one of Emma’s uppercuts screams inwards. Then, the champ pays the challenger back: short, snappy combos dug into her chin to throw Corrin towards the ropes, where her body takes more strapping shots, as Hannah sinks leather into her tummy to end another good round for herself. The Vixen didn’t manage to secure the win here, but Emma’s looking like she’s in shambles and about ready to go down with just a couple of shots sent in.

ROUND 9:
Oh, but Corrin ain’t done! The youngster ROARS inwards at the opening bell, determined to not let this title opportunity go to waste! She shocks Hannah to the middle of her guard with an overhand right, followed by a mighty cross to the center, which sends Hannah stumbling backwards just from the sheer power of her reserves. Emma stalks after her, scoring another stiff hand to the side of her head, which briefly dazes Hannah, but then a follow-up swing misses entirely overhead, allowing Hannah to scoot away, breathing hard but relatively unharmed. Well, besides a bruised ego. She spends the rest of the round staying the f*ck away from the equally heaving Brit, Corrin having blown the rest of her reserves this late in the fight and STILL not managed to put the blonde model down. Emma’s fans definitely sat up in their seats during that early number, but as the rest of the round winds down to its conclusion, it’s clear that she doesn’t have much left in her tank, panting hard and swerving haphazardly whenever she approaches too close, and Hannah fends her off with a steady jab.

ROUND 10:
Hannah, by contrast, looks steady and calm as a rock, slowly picks Emma off with jabs landing square on her nose and mouth, driving Corrin back into a corner to try and finish her off in one fell swoop. Emma with few answers at this point, her arms flailing about and loose as she tries to intercept those attacks coming in but fails most of the time, as another one-two combo catches her on the face and she goes stumbling into the ropes at her back. AND HERE HANNAH COMES with a leap-in BLAST to the side of the head, which turns Corrin about on her feet, and the challenger looks like she’s in trouble here, as she stabilises herself on shaky feet, her mouth hanging open, her eyes wide as another hook STREAKS in with a vengeance - BLAM!! CORRIN GOES DOWN yet again, that second wave literally sweeping her off her feet and sending her crashing down to all fours, where the Brit actress stays for the remainder of the 10-count! Referee immediately seen hovering by her side, but the poor GBS starlet can barely make it off her knees! He has no choice but to waves his arms overhead at the end of the ten-count! That’s it!! This fight’s OVER!!

Official Decision: Hannah Ferguson defeats Emma Corrin via KO10! Hannah Ferguson RETAINS the Welterweight Championship!

AFTER:
A worthy performance indeed from Emma Corrin, who no doubt has a bright future ahead in the league if she’s gonna continue putting on shows like these. She gets helped to her feet moments after the result is made official, fighting back tears as Hannah tries to console her on a worthy effort to dethrone her.

The two girls share a brief hug, with Hannah opting to raise Emma’s arm high in the air as a show of solidarity and mutual sportswomanship. Emma put up a fair fight tonight, pushing the champion to the very end of ten rounds, and not many girls can make such a bold boast.

“She’s the real deal,” Hannah later says to reporters, beaming but clutching the Welterweight title over her shoulder. “She’s got the power, speed and most importantly, plenty of time on her hands. If she keeps this up, we’re gonna have our rematch one day, for sure.”

For now, Hannah walks away with her second title defense secured around her waist, and already a line of potential challengers knocking on her front door. Besides the usual suspects, the alpha Vixen is coy about who’s next. “We’ll just have to wait and see,” Hannah says. “For now, all I want is a cheeseburger and some fries!”
