Intro:
The main event tonight sees the BBU welterweight on the line, German model Toni Garrn is looking to end Scottish actress Karen Gillan's first defence in the BBU Arena, Toni has the height advantage, while Karen has the experience of winning in both the BBU and FCBA.

Both fighters met at the press conference for this event, starting with a weigh in as the glamorous BBU title belt sat on a podium, first to get on stage to be weighed is Toni with her manager Gina Wild following her up, she is wearing a black bikini that shows off her impressive body, stepping onto the scale with a flex of her arms, Toni weighs in at 136lbs, a wink to the cameras after she steps off the scales and walks back to her coach.

Now Karen walks on the stage with her coach Ana Beatriz Barros, Karen waving to the assembled crowd with a bubbly smile, she steps onto the scales wearing a navy blue bikini bottom and a Scottish flag pattern bikini top, hands on her hips as she comes in at 135lbs, stepping off the scales flexing her right arm as she walks to the front of the scale.

Toni coming over to her for the face off, fists raised as all the smiles are gone, eyes firmly locked as Toni stares down at Karen, after the cameras take photos of the face off, Karen offers a hand shake that Toni giggles at and turns to head back to her side of the stage to be handed a microphone, Karen shrugging her shoulders as she heads to her side to get her own microphone.

Toni is asked how she feels heading into this major bout for her, Toni tells the press "I've been training to be the champion in the BBU for years now, you can see I am physically ready for anyone in the world" flexing her right arm with the microphone in hand, as her left goes on her hip to prove her point.

"Karen is too soft to be a great champion, it's going to be one and out for you honey" adds Karen as she smirks while looking over at her, handing Gina the microphone as she seems happy that there's nothing more for her to say now, Gina whispering something to her that makes Toni laugh.

Karen heads over to pick up her title belt, holding it over her right shoulder as she looks at it before turning to Toni, humbly admitting to her "honestly I am shocked in some ways I won this title too, for years I have done as you did, been at the gym first thing in the morning, done all the running, hit the punch bag thousands and thousands of times, sparred countless rounds with the best partners I could ask for, yet I kept losing when I reached the title fights, hell Amanda Righetti stopped me not that long ago for the FCBA title" Toni tapping her right foot folding her arms as she mouths "so what?" At the champion.

"The point I am making is now I have the gold on my shoulder, I know that all that hard work is worth it, I know that I am one of the absolute best in this sport, so I respect all the hard work you have put in, it's just going to be all for nothing when we fight because I am not giving this up so easily" Karen says to her challenger, who shakes her head looking annoyed at the assertion that she won't be leaving with the title when the bout is over, both heading off stage separately after making their points clear.

Fight night out through the curtain comes the challenger first, Toni tapping her black gloves together as she walks down the aisle, Gina following behind as the German fans in the crowd shout for her holding up their national flags at ringside, making Toni smile as she nods at them, climbing into the ring wearing a white sports bra with two black stripes going diagonally across, black trunks and shoes, her hair in a ponytail as she taps her cheeks to psyche herself up for the biggest night of her boxing career.

The crowd noise goes up a level as a blue spotlight goes onto the champion, Karen wearing the BBU title around her waist as she poses with hands on her hips looking like Wonder Woman, a big beaming smile as she looks around at the crowd before making her walk to the ring, Ana following behind as this is all about Karen's first time walking out as the champion in the ring she won the belt in, the belt taken off her by Ana before she jogs up the steps, climbing through them to a roar from the Scottish members of the crowd, Karen is wearing a navy blue sports bra, blue trunks with white trim, blue gloves and shoes, red hair in a ponytail too, she shadow boxes looking focused for this fight.

Referee waves the fighters together for the final instructions to be read out, Toni getting an up close glimpse of the title, looking at it as Karen reminds her "you have to be me first honey" making Toni scowl as she returns her gaze to the champion, the touch of gloves between them isn't a loving one as a crack of leather rings out, jogging back to their corners under loud screams from their fans, once everything is set the bell rings to start 10 rounds of BBU welterweight title action.

Round 1:
"Ding!" Both fighters look at each other with a steely gaze, trading jabs as they try to feel each other out, Karen looking to duck under her opponent's jab to land a double jab into the abs, getting clipped with a straight in reply as the opening forty seconds sees both try to get a read on their opponent.

A left cross catches Karen around her cheek, with a straight knocking her head back, Toni showing her has some quickness as she moves out the way of a left cross, countering with another straight into the champion's face, with Toni looking the more relaxed, maybe the extra pressure of having to actually defend a world title playing on Gillan's mind.

She definitely isn't being as accurate as usual, getting clipped around her face by the challenger, who is happy to box off the back foot, moving around the outside part of the ring marking up the Scottish fighters face, Karen heard saying to herself "come on!" To fire herself up, knowing this isn't the start she needed, especially with the way titles have been switching hands tonight.

Less then thirty seconds to go, Karen lands her best punch of the round as she slips a straight and lands an uppercut in reply, driving back Toni into a neutral corner, Karen lands several thudding body shots, giving her supporters something to cheer about as Toni lands cuffing shots around her head, at the bell Toni gives Karen a shove to show her whose the boss here, Karen shaking her head at her before they return to there stools.

Round 2:
Back out they come opening up a little more, Toni trying to double up her jab to keep Karen where she wants her, Karen has other plans as she deflects a jab to step in with a left cross on the jaw of Toni, Karen normally known for her technical skills is needing to show a bit more brawling streak tonight, mauling at the body of the taller fighter to get her on the ropes.

Toni pushes off Karen as she moves away from the ropes, boxing behind her jab and straight punches as she looks to keep the champion off her, landing a nice one-two combo to the top of Karen's head that knocks Karen back a step to the delight of the Black Eagles corner crew.

But when Toni wants to follow up, she misses with a straight and takes two left hooks around her ribs, making Garrn grit her mouthpiece as she gives the Scottish fighter a shove back, Karen keeps getting into her face though with more thudding body shots.

At the bell it's a strong round for Gillan, who gets a nod from her coach, Gina meanwhile tells Toni not to let Karen get at her so easily, giving Karen a demonstration of what she should be doing, Toni nodding as she knows she can't let Karen run riot on her all night or she'll be saying goodbye to another title chance.

Round 3:
There's definitely more thuds being heard from fists landing, Toni landing a crisp one-two combo to knock back Karen a step, this time following up as she looks to claim the center of the ring, maybe along with making the champion respect her as they trade stiff shots, crowd chanting for their heroes in this electric atmosphere.

A double jab catches Toni in her chest to remind her that Karen is a dangerous opponent, inside comes the redhead to slug away to the body of the challenger, who holds on to her and digs a few rabbit punches behind the head of Gillan, showing how much she wants this as she takes the warning from the referee after being broken up.

Karen is starting to gain traction but is still taking some hard combos through her mitts, Toni at her best is sniper like with her punches, she is showing some of that tonight as Karen's head gets snapped back, still Karen is digging in some nice shots in response to keep Toni on her toes.

As the round ends Toni might not have respected her opponent before the fight, judging by her expression as she sits down, she is starting to learn to respect her now, though Karen knows that wasn't a good round for her, Ana not looking worried as she tells Karen she is forcing Toni to be at her best tonight.

Round 4:
Looking to build off the last round, Toni scores some crisp punches out the gate around the champs face, drilling in a crisp double jab to her knock back the head of Karen, she misses with a straight as Karen sees it coming, slipping it and landing a straight into the chest of the German beauty to make her groan out.

An overhand left smacks Toni across her face, with an uppercut following to send the lanky model onto her heels, the Scottish fans roar on their girl as she beats back Toni to the ropes, thudding in more body shots when Garrn shells up top, clinching up with Gillan to slow her down, there's a grappling match on the ropes as Toni tries to turn them around.

When they resume Karen is like a viper as she quickly strikes with a jab under the chin of Toni, who is finding out why Karen is the champion, with Toni finding herself being herded near the ropes, needing to slug it out in close, that doesn't suit Toni with her long arms.

Backed into her own corner, Toni gets to heard her coach Gina yelling at her to fight out of the situation she has found herself in, the bell rings with Toni gritting her mouthpiece as she sits down, Karen jogging to her own corner with Ana tapping her right shoulder.

Round 5:
Early on and Karen is straight in the face of Toni, with an overhand left smacking Toni on her jaw, two body shots drive back the challenger, who is trying to push off the champion, instead she takes a right flush onto her liver area, making Toni wince as she backs up.

Toni's punches haven't the sting they had before, a left cross on her jaw turns her head as Karen is hurting her, an uppercut rocks back the challenger, ANOTHER RIGHT LANDS ON THE LIVER OF TONI TO SEND HER CRUMBLING ONTO ALL FOURS!

Crowd goes wild as Karen allows herself a smile, jogging to the neutral corner wiping sweat from her brow, 1...2....3....4.....5.. Toni spits out her mouthpiece, panting as she looks to be hurting and winded, 6...7...8.. Toni makes an effort to push herself up, instead she winces as she groans, going back to all fours 9....10 and that's it! It's all over!

After:
A dominant display in the end from Karen, she was made to work out hard during parts of the fight, she just showed why she could be the best fighter this year if she can produce more performances like this, she celebrates jogging over to her corner to high five Ana, her supporters on their feet applauding and cheering the popular fighter.

Toni meanwhile has Gina yelling at her what she was doing, not showing any concern for her fighter, the cut man of the Black Eagles needing to be the one to check on Toni, giving her an ice pack on her stomach to help numb her pain, Toni thanking them as she stares daggers at her coach.

Ordering Toni out the ring, Gina steps out first shaking her head, it takes a few moments for Toni to stand, when she is out the ring both don't say a word to the other, though you have to expect a few words will be exchanged later as Toni fights back tears.

In the ring Karen has her gloves off and has been wiped down, she smiles as Ana tells her she better not get too lazy in training, both joking as the mood in the Fates camp is a lot happier then their Black Eagle counterparts, Karen thanking Ana for her support as they might be the best coach and fighter duo in celebrity boxing right now.

The referee asks for Karen to come to the middle of the ring, Ana gives Karen a gift, a Scottish flag for her as Karen nods her thanks, as the final result is announced and Karen has the title wrapped around her waist, she holds up the flag her her fans, smiling to the cameras as she fights back tears of joy.

After doing a lap of honour inside the ring holding the flag up for all to see, Karen then steps out the ring with Ana, flag draped over her shoulders as she walks to the back, who is next for the Tartan terror to take down? It's going to be a tough test to take her down.
