BEFORE:
We’re LIVE at the Hard Rock Cafe in downtown Los Angeles, and the restaurant and bar is packed to the brim for tonight’s card. Pulsing disco, dazzling laser beams and of course, a freeflow of drinks at the bar means VIX continues to sell out tickets at these smaller exhibition venues. We might not be able to pack the Staples Centre, but we don’t have to.

The crowd cheers as the LCD televisions light up first, with Nell Tiger Free’s smiling face highlighting the press proceedings barely 24 hours ago:

“I’m expecting good news by the end of the year,” Nell says, flashing another smile. “All I need to do now is not f*ck things up,” she laughs. “Natalia’s been around longer than I have, seen plenty more fights than me. But I’m eager to continue my winning streak. Maybe I’ll even get another shot at Lily Collins one day.”

From across the room, Natalia Dyer is trying her best to hold back her smirk. She’s faced off against several Vixens before, and knows how hard they can hit. Still, that doesn’t seem to faze her.

“Nell’s cute, isn’t she? She’s only had a couple of fights and already, she wants to face off against ex-champs. You may be currently in talks for a potential contract, dearie, but I’m the one currently signed to an actual stable,” Natalia says, with a nod of derision. “I’m eager to see what you can bring to the table. But I’m guessing: not that much.”

Nell’s five-five to Natalia’s five-three inches means both ladies are coming in with different strategies for tonight’s fight. Natalia’s definitely been in more brawls in her equally youngish career, but Nell’s bulk and height advantage might give her the overall advantage. We’ll just have to wait and see then, won’t we?

Later, we’re back at the Hard Rock and in the ring, where the referee herds both lovely ladies to their respective corners. Nell’s bunching together blue gloves as she grins back at the cheers from the multiple crowds surrounding the ring. She’s dressed in a multi-coloured striped bikini top tonight, with white boxing trunks. At the other end, Natalia has gone for that gothic look that’s befitting of October’s festivities, rocking a black brassiere top and red stripes, and pinkish-white undies. She’s in red gloves for tonight’s contest.

The referee waves for the bell and HERE WE GO with ten rounds of Flyweight action!

ROUND 1:
Nell’s showing off her early moves, mixing up combos with wide hooks and overhand crunches slammed directly into Natalia’s forearms, making the American actress grunt and scatter fast. Natalia was probably heaving a sigh of relief when she found out she was fighting another youngster who was younger than her in spades. But early on, she’s having trouble dealing with Tiger’s aggression, the Free Agent coming into this fight with plenty of professional backing despite her not having yet signed officially on the dotted line. Natalia takes another bashing punch to the mouth, which throws her back a couple of paces. The shorter girl tries to cover up for the rest of the round, firing back with left-right combos at any opportunity, but Tiger Free is returning two punches for every one taken to her own face. End of the round and the Brit’s prospect’s are still solid indeed, taking the first round wide!

ROUND 2:
Natalia returns the favour, however, with an early bashing one-two combo: a first left hand streaking into Nell’s arms before a second one is too low for Nell to catch. The young British starlet lets out a grunt as she’s caught firm on the body, and has to suddenly fend off more rushing punches sent towards her midsection. Natalia makes up for her lack of power with plenty of quantity instead, harassing Nell’s lowered guard and then occasionally swinging up top to snag her clean on the nose and forehead. Third minute and we finally get a break in the action, both ladies having bloodied each other thus far and Nell forced to reset at a comfortable distance whilst protecting her chin and chest. Natalia tries another assault to even the score out overall, but fails, as Nell keeps her at bay with a solid right jab. Bell rings and Dyer takes it this time close!

ROUND 3:
Both girls skirmish at the opening bell, each rushing the other down at intervals and scoring punches off the body and chin, though Dyer suffers a nasty shock to her system when Nell pays her back with a hard hook to catch her on the body as well. It’s Natalia’s turn to try and get away from the action, all of a sudden grunting and lurching over with her arms trying to cover every inch of her being, to no avail. Nell not taking any crap or prisoners, however, WADES in after her whilst SWINGING away! Another bruisin’ shot to Dyer’s head has the actress reeling off to one side, her mouth open and breathing hard! Tiger Free WALLOPS her to the body one more time, and DOWN DYER GOES!! An early KNOCKDOWN in the third round has the British actress’ fans up on their feet!

Dyer groans as she hugs her body, crawling into a fetal position in the center of the ring after having collapsed over onto her side! It looks like her ribs might have gotten cracked there! She’s in NO position to recover, shaking her head repeatedly as the referee counts her out to ten! It’s OVER in KO3 fashion!

Official Decision: Nell Tiger Free defeats Natalia Dyer via KO3!

AFTER:
“Knew I had her!” Nell beams in the immediate aftermath of her fifth fight and fourth win, as the referee lifts her hand up in the middle of the arena.

The young British blonde has a bright future ahead of her, and is already leaping back to her corner, embracing her fight team and possible future Co-Head Trainer, Corey Saucier.

“Good job, kiddo,” Corey says, with a wink.

When asked for her thoughts later on by ring-side, Nell is still full of praise for Dyer: “I love her work on Stranger Things, make no mistake. It’s been a dream of mine these past few months just meeting talented actresses and celebrities in the rest of the industry. I’m gonna continue knocking them out, but I do hope they stick around after to chat.”

Dyer, meanwhile, is looking like she’s in NO mood for a conversation, having suffered multiple bruises and a dislocated jaw during this short but action-filled battle. Nell is waved off on approach moments later, getting told off by Dyer’s fight team for showing an ounce of concern for her former foe.

Small look of concern in Tiger Free’s eyes as Dyer has to be stretchered out and backstage. For now, this VIX event continues!
