Before:

CBAD action sees one of the hottest fighters at the moment of Elizabeth Olsen take on Erin Moriarty in the blonde’s FCBA debut. Olsen enters the match with an 8-2 record in 2021, and since 2020, she is 18-5. Moriarty knows her opponent is dangerous, and the blonde tells the press she is not afraid of Olsen.

“Lizzie may have a great record, but she always falters when it matters and tonight, I have everything to fight for.” Erin tells the press. “She may be good, but she’s not ready for me.”

Olsen is quiet in her pre-fight press showing. “Erin has over 70 of my fights to study. I have none of hers. She’s a wild card, and that makes her dangerous.” Whether or not Elizabeth is serious or just doing her part is unknown, but that will be settled during the fight.

Erin is the first girl to make her way to the ring, the blonde’s eyes growing wide in the spotlight. Moriarty chose a blue top and matching trunks with green gloves for the fight. Moments later, Elizabeth enters to the cheers of the crowd. The Avenger wears a red top and black bottoms with black gloves, and quickly makes her way to the ring. The referee gives the two final instructions and they thump their gloves as ten rounds of bantamweight action is set to begin.

Round 1:

Moriarty is cautious coming out of her corner in her debut match against one of the top bantamweights in Olsen. Lizzie knows her foe’s inexperience and unleashes a barrage of rights and lefts that work Erin into the ropes quickly. Moriarty shows quick instincts though and clinches before Olsen can hammer her body too much. Lizzie steps forward after the break to close distance, and Erin lands a right that catches Elizabeth in her face. Olsen quickly retreats as Moriarty’s follow up is just too slow. The Avenger sees her vulnerable foe and drills a right across her chin that nearly drops the blonde! Erin stays up but she is covering up as Liz unloads on the younger actress, working the blonde into the ropes again. Moriarty clinches for the second time this round, and the bell rings soon after the break. Olsen takes the first in commanding fashion, as Moriarty has to find her fighting style or lose.

Round 2:

Olsen is quick out of her corner to start the second while Moriarty again keeps her distance. Lizzie jabs at Erin as the blonde counterpunches, finding the occasional strike to her foe’s head. Olsen feints right – and Moriarty drills the brunette with a left right to her chin! Liz stays up but Erin has the momentum and she starts working over the Fates fighter’s body. The crowd roars to life as Erin drives Elizabeth into the ropes as the rookie looks like she’s taking it to the vet, and Liz clinches to get a break. The blonde starts working her jab out of the break, and while she doesn’t land a blow to the brunette’s head, she limits how much Olsen can hit her back until the brunette dashes forward and strikes the blonde with a left. The bell rings and Erin takes the second round on points as we have a fight on our hands.

Round 3:

Moriarty starts to find her rhythm as she starts firing off jabs from range against the shorter Olsen, putting her longer reach to use. The blonde drives a right into the brunette’s guard with a bit of force behind it, knocking the veteran back slightly. Erin follows up with a left to Lizzie’s ribs, and the Fates girl clinches early. The referee separates the two and the veteran Olsen gets in the quick blows after the action resumes. Moriarty drops back and blocks the blows with her guard before working the counter, forcing Olsen to accept that whenever she throws a punch, she’s going to get hit back. Erin drops back as Elizabeth pursues, the blonde feinting left before going right and catching the older actress in her nose. Olsen instinctively retreats and covers her head as Moriarty finds body at the bell, and the blonde is showing promise in her debut.

Round 4:

Olsen must have been told that she was making Moriarty look like a champion between rounds as the Avenger comes out firing on all cylinders and quickly works Moriarty into the ropes. Erin stands tall and slugs Lizzie back in in her ribs before Olsen pops a quick right into Moriarty’s face, forcing the blonde to clinch. The referee separates the two and they start circling each other. Moriarty gets her jab working again and to keep Olsen at a distance, but like any rookie, her rhythm is predictable. Olsen finds the timing and finds her counters, opening Moriarty’s lip in the process. Erin recoils and Elizabeth pounces on the chance to hit her foe’s body, driving the younger actress around the ring. Erin knows she can’t slug it out with Lizzie and she stays away, keeping her distance and countering only when she thinks she can before the bell rings. Lizzie evens everything up on points, but Erin is proving to be a stronger fighter than a typical fighter in her debut.

Round 5:

Moriarty and Olsen show no signs of slowing down as they start the fifth. The two collide in the center of the ring as they trade blows. Lizzie lands the first clear shot to her foe’s face with a left to the jaw, knocking Erin backwards. Elizabeth steps forward and shoots out a right – but Erin dodges and connects with an uppercut to Liz’s jaw and Olsen nearly goes down! Lizzie wobbly and the crowd roars as Erin slams one, two, three blows into the brunette’s head and down goes Olsen! The crowd goes wild as Moriarty herself is stunned for a moment before she gets out of the ref’s way as he starts his count. Lizzie gets to all fours and forces herself up to beat the count.

The referee waves Erin in and the blonde swings wildly, wanting to finish off Elizabeth in this round. The veteran Olsen keeps her guard up to protect her head and counterpunches when she can, tagging Moriarty to keep the blonde away until the bell. It’s another round for Erin Moriarty as she gets the first knockdown of the fight, and Lizzie may have gotten more than she bargained for.

Round 6:

Erin bounds out of her corner to start the back half of the fight as she comes off the first knockdown of her career, and the blonde starts firing away jabs at Elizabeth. The brunette actress keeps her guard up to stop the blonde’s blows as she backtracks around the ring as Moriarty pursues her. Erin fakes right and hits Liz with a left to her ribs, but the Avenger finds a right counter that catches the blonde in her chin, staggering the blonde. Olsen surges forward, drilling her opponent’s body as Moriarty protects her head. Lizzie making good contact, drawing a groan out of Erin as she buries two rights into the taller actress’ midriff, forcing her to clinch. Erin fares better out of the break, but Elizabeth’s guard prevents her from scoring any major strikes before the bell.

Round 7:

The two girls circle to start the seventh, and Lizzie takes the offensive after the first few seconds, jabbing at Erin. Moriarty blocks Olsen’s blows and counters with a right, but she’s lunged after the brunette! Elizabeth easily sidesteps the blow and crushes a right into Erin’s jaw, nearly sending the blonde down! Moriarty is staggered but on her feet and on comes Olsen, unloading lefts and rights into Erin’s body and head. The blonde shows plenty of fight as she stays up through the first several blows, but her guard falters as she takes more and more strikes. Lizzie sees her foe’s guard dropping and pumps two uppercuts into Erin’s chin to send the blonde to the canvas. Erin rolls herself onto her stomach, but gets no further. Your winner by KO7, Elizabeth Olsen!

After:

Elizabeth Olsen heaves a sigh of relief as Erin Moriarty gave her more than what she probably bargained for. Moriarty is helped to a stool by her staff, and Olsen goes over to the blonde. Erin looks up at Elizabeth, uncertain what to expect before the brunette hugs her and then raises her hand, drawing the cheers of the crowd. Moriarty may have lost the fight, but she made a strong debut against one of the top fighters in the league.

“Erin is a really good fighter,” Elizabeth tells the press after the fight. “She pushed me tonight. She should get more opportunities to show what she is made of.”

Moriarty appears to talk to the press later, her disappointment visible. “I thought I did a good job, but I wasn’t good enough.” She says, “Next time, I will come back with a victory.”
