BEFORE: Liz McClarnon's boxing career has flamed out in recents years but she's still good enough to be targeted by a promising upstart like Alexandra Stan who keeps dreaming BIG about her BBU future. The Romanian singer secured a massive upset stoppage over former champion Dorota Rabczewska in only her second fight last time out so it feels like she can pick her opponents already while Liz is ready to accept any challenge that puts her on the PPV line-up again.

Liz McClarnon wears a red bikini set & white gloves. Long blonde hair tied in a sleek ponytail. Alexandra Stan wears a navy blue bikini set & red gloves. Long blonde hair tied in a double braid. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the bantamweight division.

Round 1:
Liz tries her chances with some fancy jabbing but Alexandra simply moves too quickly on her feet and easily avoids the older blonde's efforts before blasting her over the top and rocking the head back & forth. Liz gets stunned upon impact and slumps on her heels while Alexandra powers ahead to score impressive punches while reeling the other woman onto the ropes. The Mersey blonde just can't shake off the Romanian's power supply and disappears behind a desperate earmuff which only fuels Alexandra's desire to knock her head off! Romanian Invasion's coach/manager Corina Caragea urges her to change her targets but Alex is very much in the head-hunting groove even if she can't split McClarnon's high guard often enough to knock her down. She finally switches to punish the exposed midsection late but runs out of time to drop the Mersey lass for the count and barks in anger when the bell interrupts her charge.

Round 2:
Nowhere to hide for Liz who tries to send some half-hearted jabs but gets blitzed in the open as Alexandra rolls out with more head-hunting juice. She tears a small gash over McClarnon's left eye before driving a powerful hook up her gut that simply freezes the Mersey blonde in the center of the ring. Alexandra throws a quick-fire hook over the top and nails her rival on the nose before she bangs a follow up on the ear as Liz's guard collapses on the spot... DOWN GOES McCLARNON just unable to take this heat anymore. Stan struts back to her corner and expects the older blonde to stay down but Liz defies the odds and makes it back onto her feet at seven. She still looks extremely rattled and backpedals from the Romanian's repeated attacks during the second minute. However she eventually runs out of space and gets trapped on the turnbuckle where Alexandra lays it into her guts and folds her into loud spasms come the bell. Ugh! It's almost a miracle Liz has avoided a second knockdown here but the swelling over the left eye isn't making her life any easier now.

Round 3:
More Romanian attacks send McClarnon reeling and when she soaks up three straight hits on the lips she flies back to the ropes and bounces off them right into a brutal cross hook path. Ugh! Stan SMOKES HER with that shot and sends the gumshield flying out as Liz DROPS TO HER KNEES in slo-mo fashion and collapses face-down with arms above her head moments later! That should do it, folks! Ref waves off the count at five as Liz appears to have been knocked out of her senses! KO3 Alexandra Stan!!!

AFTER: The bantamweight division is occupied by several elite veterans but between Sophia Thomalla and Alexandra Stan the new girls are ready to make some noise as well! BBU TV's Denise van Outen believes Alex should target the likes of Vera Brezhneva next and even the out-of-form ex-champion Una Healy wouldn't be a stretch on her imminient schedule. The Doda upset proved the Romanian upstart has a tremendous upside and shouldn't waste her time fighting has-beens like Liz McClarnon too often going forward! Then again most of the managed girls like to boost their numbers with match-ups like this so who knows what her plans are exactly. Manager Corina Caragea remains tight-lipped on the matter and claims she's busy booking future opponents for Inna and Elena Gheorghe instead.
