Before: “Something needed to be done about Brec Bassinger and I am happy to be the one to do it,” says the legendary Michelle (“Mish”) Williams, Hall of Famer, multi-title winner, and now something of a terror to younger fighters. “Not only did she defeat Natalie Portman, but she showed her total lack of respect by walking my HISC colleague. I’ve met her sort before and they went away sorry they had ever crossed me or HISC Boxing!”

“Well, golly gosh, I win a fight against Portman and take her on a Walk. Like that is the first time that ever happened to her. Now I got ‘Mad Mish’ after me,” Brec Bassinger retorted. “Well, Natalie Portman thought she had such hot stuff and I beat her. Now Williams thinks she;s even hotter, Well bring it on. I am ready for you!”

“You are NOT ready for me. No rookie is,” fired back Michelle.

“I am not a rookie, I’ve been here since 1999 and I have had 17 fights I may not be a Hall of Famer, but I am no rookie,” Brec declared stoutly.

“Kid, I have had over 200 fights, I was winning fights when you were in diapers and I am still winning them—and you will learn that the hard way,” Mish warned.

“And maybe you’ll learn it’s time you stuck to fighting cougars!” Brec snapped.

“Kid, you are making the beating you are going to get from me a real pleasure,” said Michelle menacingly.

Brec never blinked an eye: “Not as much of a pleasure as I’m going to get taking down an overrated gas bang like you!”

Michelle looked ready to slap the younger woman’s face, but settled: “See you in the ring and you are going to regret your big mouth.”

Brec just nodded: “The same to you.”

Fans really worked up about this one and crowd is rocking as Brec and Michelle come to the ring. Brec is in a one piece swimsuit, light purple with a multi-colored upper portion. Black gloves and boots with purple laces. Brec’s hair pilled back in battle braid. Michelle in simple red one piece swimsuit with white gloves and boots (red laces). Michelle’s short hair is wetted down. Tense ring instructions as Brec keeps grinning at a glowering Mish, but they are covered. Then there is a loud SMACK of a glove “tap” and the fighters go to their corners. Crowd is already roaring as the bell rings….

R1: Michelle gets in close to Brec right off the opening bell. She comes in smacking Brec about the face including a mouth swiping right that splits Brec’s lower lip. Then she crowds in with hooks to the body and tries to back Brec into the corner. Brec fighting back, she gives Mish plenty of counter body shots and the two are really firing in the leather. Mish finally pushing Brec back, but Brec stoutly resisting. Abs, ribs and breasts getting worked over on both fighters, but Williams continues to make Bassinger slowly retreat to the bell. Round goes to Michelle Williams, but Brec Bassinger kept it close.

R2: Brec moving quickly out of her corner and she strikes with a lunging right that clouts Mish to the side of the head, Mish staggered a bit and Brec quick to take advantage. Rights and lefts smack into Mish’s jaw and chin. Then Brec goes down to pump her hooks into Mish’s torso. Michelle has her gloves up protectively around her head and hunches up to try to protect her midsection. Brec adding Michelle’s flanks to her target list as Mish does try to use jab to hold off the pesky blonde, but Brec still punching away at the bell. Brec Bassinger wins round wide.

R3: Michelle not about to let the young blonde’s R2 offensive go unanswered: she is swift from her corner and stops an incoming Brec with a stuffing right to the gut. Mish then brings left smacking off Brec’s jaw. Brec trying to counter with a defensive jab, but Mish now showing veteran footwork as she confuses the younger fighter while banging away at her head and body. Brec finally obliged to try to get out of range. Mish swoops after her, now concentrating her attack on Brec’s body, trying to get her into the ropes. Brec covering up as she tries to steer clear of the strands. Michelle looking in control as the round ends. Mish wins round wide.

R4: Mish again moving in hard and fast against Brec. Brec swatted to the head, but this time Brec ducking and blocking more. Not so many Mish punches getting through. Then Brec gets an right uppercut into Mish’s chin and then a sharp left off the jaw. Mish goes after Brec to the ribs with hooks, but Brec drives her hooks into Mish’s ribs and adds some uppercuts into the underside of Mish’s breasts. Mish goes after Brec to the breasts and they have a nasty jugg mugging exchange, but then Brec gets an overhand right into Mish’s nose. Mish recoils with blood coming out of the nose. Brec then goes after Mish’s midsection as the bell rings. Close round but Brec Bassinger wins it on the judges’ cards.

R5: Brec now trying to start the new round with a strike against Mish’s jaw and chin, but Michelle blunts the incoming and counters to Brec’s face. Brec bleeding from a cut to the cheek, but she goes back at the veteran blonde with punches to the body. Michelle responds in kind and there is a sharp exchange of rib cage roasting. Brec starts to show the pressure Michelle is putting on her and she tries to drop back, but Mish lands a big left to Brec’s jaw and a follow-up right off her chin. DOWN GOES BREC BASSINGER! Brec falls to her side and lies there breathing hard and shaking her head. Michelle Williams to the neutral corner and from there she sees Brec make her way back to her feet to break the count at “EIGHT!” Action resumes, but Brec’s goe into lock-down defensive mode and Michelle can’t find a way thrugh before time runs out on the round. Michelle wins the round wide and with a knockdown on her side of the cards.

R6: Brec very cautious coming out for the new round. That knockdown seems to take s lot out of the young blonde. Michelle happy to take advantage and goes after Brec to the stomach. Barrage of belly busting hooks soon has Brec doubled up and just trying to protect her head. Michelle skillfully cuts off the ring and guides Brec backwards into the ropes. Brec huddled there, face in gloves while Michelle feasts on Brec’s vulnerable body. Very thorough scrubbing of Brec’s battered torso and Mish has got Brec’s knees trembling, but they don’t give way and Mish scores a shutout round without a knockdown. Brec moves slowly back to her corner as Michelle returns to her corner saying: “I’ve got her!”

R7: Mish moving confidently against Brec who is again slow out of her corner. However as Mish goes for Brec’s head, she finds herself blocked. Mish then goes to the body trying to whack Brec’s guard down. Brec responding with jabs that slice into Mish’s face and Mish is forced to back away and then try to find a new opening. However Brec then shifts into an all-out attack on Mish to the body. Mish answers with body punching of her own, but Brec not slowing down. Brec hammering those abs and ribs and Mish is shuddering under the impacts though still punching back, punishing Brec to the body. Brec seems to taking this body punching exchange better than Mish who looks worn down as she heads for her corner after the bell. Brec Bassinger has taken a close round.

R8: Michelle comes out more slowly this round, but she looks as determined as ever. She sees Brec advancing on her and moves to engage with slapping shots off the young blonde’s head. Brec fires back with a solid right/left combo to Mish’s jaw. Mish staggered and Brec then fires in right/left uppercuts. Mish teeters backwards on quaking legs and Brec another right/left combo to the chin. Mish stares blankly at Brec for a moment AND THEN TOPPLES FORWARD ON HER FACE! Brec steps to one side and stares down in wonder as the much feared Michelle Willaims has now gone down at her feet! Brec then hastily departs for the neutral corner as referee stands over the fallen Mish. Mish trying to push herself up, but topples over on her side and lies there exhausted.

“EIGHT!...NINE!...TEN!...YOU’RE OUT!” calls the referee.

THE WINNER BREC BASSSINGER DEFEATS MICHELLE WILLIAMS KO8!

After: Big celebration in the PLP corner as Ashley Benson, Lucy Hale, Troian Bellisario, Danielle Campbell and Shay Mitchell all gather around to congratulate the triumphant Brec. Brec eagerly watching the HISC corner and as soon as she sees Mish has sufficiently recovered, she is over there to scoop up the veteran.

“I always wanted to walk Mish Williams and, you know, I never thought I’d get to do it. Now I am doing it and if feels great!” Brec proclaims as she marches a dazed Mish around the ring.

“I can’t believe it, I can’t believe it,” Mish heard to mutter forlornly.

“You can believe it ‘cause it’s true: I beat you Mish Williams and gosh it feels great!” Brec replies as they finish the Walk and Brec turns her over to the HISC staff.

Brec then makes her exit carried on the shoulders on her stablemates who break into a chorus of “Ding! Dong! The Witch Is Dead!” as they head up the ramp. Some in the crowd even join in, though it is clearly a dark day for HISC fans.

OK, so Michelle Williams is not in her prime, but she can still give younger fighter’s a miserable time. What may be the answer tonight is that Mish hit her peak in R5 & 6, but then time caught up with her. Mish’s energy drained away as the younger Brec still had enough left to win. Great win for Brec Bassinger who is developing very nicely for the PLP organization. Heartbreaking loss for Michelle Williams, but we think any rookie who takes her lightly after this fight will pay a painful price in learning this is one cougar who still has bite!
