BEFORE: Selena Gomez remains extremely bitter the defeat to Olivia Munn robbed her of a bantamweight title opportunity since the Demi Rose clash was in the books already. That spells bad news for Foxfire upstart Bailee Madison who began to increase her work load this season albeit with mixed results. Madison is unfazed that some pundits call her a sacrificial lamb and believes she can upstage the older brunette who must be still reeling from that Munn upset: "Sure enough, this is the perfect time to fight Selena. Her confidence must be crushed! She's never gonna reach that extra level and she knows it! It's time for me to clean up what Olivia started! Wish me luck!" (winks).

Selena Gomez wears a blue & pink bikini set & silver gloves. Long dark brown hair tied in a curled ponytail. Bailee Madison wears a red bikini set & yellow gloves. Long dark brown hair tied in a braid. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the bantamweight division.

Round 1:
Selena wastes no time whatsoever to let everyone know she is angry alright. She bounces upstairs to connect with the initial punch and Bailee just doesn't know what hit her as she gets overrun by the speed dial delivery. Heavy slugs crash into the younger brunette's face before she uses her wheels to escape the heat instead of firing back at the charging opponent. Selena leaps after her with more venom and quickly tracks her onto the ropes where she hauls in more leather up the middle which glues Madison to the spot wholesale. Nowhere to go for the Foxfire talent who has to swing it back from behind the guard but she fails to bother Gomez with a half-hearted effort and ends the round buried behind a desperate earmuff instead.

Round 2:
More of the same in the second, Selena rolls up the jabbing heat and beats Bailee from both flanks while the Foxfire youngster tries to land some single punches but gets outworked by the numbers anyway. She bravely hangs on until a double cross nails her across the nose and wobbles to her heels with Gomez busting a quick uppercut combo on the chest as well. Ugh! Bailee cries out in pain and seeks respite through hectic retreat alas Selena is not to be denied as she gallops into the exposed midsection and pancakes the younger brunette onto the ropes. She chops several shots in the ribcage before Bailee can clinch her and it's a desperate struggle for the youngster again as Gomez shakes her off and blows a heavy right hook on the nose in the dying seconds. Ugh! Bailee looks HURT at the bell here!

Round 3:
Foxfire coach Nia Peeples realizes it's getting late early for Bailee to do something here and approves a slugging charge that somehow stuffs Selena in the center of the ring against the odds! Bailee works the high-octane jabbing drive and blows into the fellow brunette's breasts before clipping her jaw as well. Selena still swings from her heels and that proves to be an ill-advised decision as Madison counters her from the inside which gives the Latina's jaw unwanted attention. Bailee almost gets carried away with her attacks but profits from a late clash of heads that drops Gomez into earmuff cover along the ropes to limit the damage.

Round 4:
Selena squares to to the fellow brunette but a harpoon shot on the navel leaves her exposed so Bailee carries more juice up the middle and whacks the designated favorite on the chin before adding another looping shot on the temple. Ugh! Selena gets verbally annoyed but shoots over Madison's head in response and has to soak up more quick jabs from point-blank range before using her agile footwork to escape the unexpected head. Bailee goes in over the top anyway and clips the Latina's nose which triggers a hectic exchange in the center of the ring. Selena barks in her efforts but remains a split second behind the eight-ball and gets picked off by some quick hands as Bailee continues her comeback and pummels Gomez onto the ropes down the stretch. Huh! There is some real talent to work with as Bailee drives a brutal shot into the solar plexus to cripple Selena into loud spasms at the bell.

Round 5:
Another quick tussle in the center of the ring has both girls trading vicious leather in gung-ho fashion; Bailee never looked to be in this kind of position after the first couple of rounds but she drives her mitts into Selena's face and tears a small gash under the left eye indeed. She is one proper series from breaking the Latina's resilience according to Erin Andrews in the booth but then disaster strikes when Gomez rips a left cross on the nose and barges a heavy right between the cups to cripple Madison sideways amid loud spasms. Ugh! Bailee is HURT again as she can't quite catch her breath and soaks up a vicious uppercut on the jaw that sends her flying onto the ropes! She bounces off them to meet a hard right on the brow ridge that simply pulls the youngster's plug out!!! DOWN GOES BAILEEEEEE.... and she goes down hard... face-down spread eagle style. Selena yells out in anger and waves back to the stunned Foxfire corner. There's just nothing Nina Peeples and Rachel Nichols can do about this one anymore! KO5 Selena Gomez!!!

AFTER: Poor Bailee has been knocked out of her senses and leaves the ring in visible discomfort few minutes later despite a gallant overall effort. Meanwhile Selena claims she still believes that lineal belt will be wrapped around her hips regardless of the Munn setback: "It was unfortunate timing but I can't do anything about that anymore. I'm well into my prime and one day the cards will fall my way. I've gone too far to lose sleep over Olivia frickin' Munn! Bwoah! Okay, I hope someone wipes the floor with her soon! I got other ideas on my mind for the time being!"
