BEFORE: Italian model Alessia Uva scored a good win over veteran Micaela Schaefer on her BBU debut last month but she hopes to gain more experience against fellow upstart Terese Pagh Teglgaard who returns to boxing action three years after she was thoroughly outclassed by compatriot Mathilde Gohler. That was an ill-advised match-making idea to say the very least and the lanky blonde claims she's learned her lesson and is ready to show everyone she's not exactly a punchbag in disguise!

Alessia Uva wears a black bikini set & silver gloves. Long black hair tied in a sleek ponytail. Terese Pagh wears a red bikini set & white gloves. Long blonde hair tied in a half-up ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the lightweight division.

Round 1:
Terese comes out hot and sticks several clean hits into the brunette's face but fails to punch her back to the ropes and has to deal with a solid counter-punching response still in the opening minute. Both models trade hard leather in the center of the ring and Terese is just able to rattle the local favorite with a booming right hook on the nose that makes Alessia think better off it. The lanky Italian retreats and finds that Pagh's hassling skills ain't that good as the Danish fighter swings through mid air even though she forces the younger woman into a sustained retreat. That might not be good enough to secure a lasting advantage and Uva tries to rally back late when she steps up to the crowd's chants and smacks a couple of cross hooks into the blonde's face.

Round 2:
Another quick start from the Danish guest who lands a good combo on the brunette's temples and stuffs her with a vicious follow up on the chest. Alessia didn't see that shot coming and wobbles to her heels where she's unable to carry enough counter-punching power to avoid more trouble. Terese pounds her onto the ropes and slashes the exposed breasts with a bevy of uppercuts before Uva finally clinches her into safety. Both models wrestle for strenght supremacy in the second minute and the referee lets Alessia get away with it which triggers a furious response from the blonde come the final stretch. She shoves Uva onto the ropes and clobbers more jug shots to win the round outright alas the Italian entourage doesn't look too upset about it.

Round 3:
Alessia gets the early jump in the third and smacks a quick combo into the blonde's face before a borderline harpoon tags Pagh on the navel. Ugh! That was a legal shot alright and the blonde bumps her head off the brunette's shoulder while Alessia jumps into a hectic body assault that drops her foe into loud spasms once the punching volume increases. The Rome crowd enjoys Alessia punching Terese's stomach into a mush and she drives her onto the ropes where she lands more vicious shots and folds the Dane into real trouble. Huh! The punching resistance appears to be Pagh's main issue and she's unable to fend off a high-octane series from the raging brunette who yells out in delight at the bell.

Round 4:
Terese tries to make up for that poor previous round but eats another quick combo over the top and gets swamped by the Italian's high-volume effort. Alessia snaps the blonde ponytail back & forth and finds some jug muggin' payback in a middle of a proper slugging rally that drops Teglgaard butt-in-ropes come the one-minute mark. Alessia keeps her foot on the gas and thumps more leather into the blonde's midriff before another lenghty clinch turns out to be the Dane's only idea to survive the barrage. Alessia tries to shake her off but gets trapped in a headlock and all the precious seconds tick away as Terese is unwilling to let her go. Oof! No wonder the Italian fans are jeering the heck out of the blonde tourist at the bell...

Round 5:
Alessia is visibly upset and charges with a head full of steam finding easy connection between the leaky high guard. Terese tries to fire back over the top but eats a brutal shot on the nose and wobbles off her stance for good which allows Uva to pound her back to the ropes in short order. The Danish models comes back with a good double on the chin but then eats another cross hook on the nose and wobbles forward to meet a wicked uppercut on the jaw THAT DROPS HER ON HER BACKSIDE!!! Huge roar from the Italian audience and coach Martina Colombari gives Alessia a warm hug when the young prospect heads back to her corner. However Terese is not quite done yet as she rises from the boards at eight and vows to continue this contest. She dances away from Uva's speedy jabbing rush and barely hangs on through the last few seconds as Alessia just can't finish her off before the bell.

Round 6:
Alessia was denied late in the fifth but she steamrolls the still shaky-looking blonde early in the sixth and rocks her ponytail back & forth before a stuffing harpoon on the navel folds the older model into loud spasms. Terese tries to clinch the local favorite but only finds another uppercut double and cries out in pain when Alessia cracks her square on the jaw. Another wild swing lands on the temple and sends the blonde DOWN ON HER KNEES amid wild cheers from the audience. Ugh! This time Terese rolls onto her side with eyes closed and makes no effort to beat the count. It's all over! KO6 Alessia Uva!!!

AFTER: The young Italian model shares another long hug with coach Colombari and displays a huge smile on her face when the official verdict is announced. BBU TV's Georgie Thompson still questions what is the model's true upside but there's every chance we'll gonna find out soon since the Italian entourage vows to give the Milan-based stunner an extended run during the summer.
