Results: Lookout!; Story: Caspian & The Dollhouse

"Good on her for finally accepting my rematch challenge. b*tch took her time!” Avril laughs from her seat at the press conference. “I guess Emma thinks she's going to waltz in here and get an easy win just cuz I haven’t been in my zone lately. Well, she's still a f*cking creampuff if you ask me. She just got hella lucky last time I fought her, and I'm going to prove it tonight. I've been waiting for this rematch for a LONG ass time. I'm gonna f*ck her up!"

Lavigne of course is referring to her first match against Watson way back in 2019. Back then, the Dollhouse Queen was still finding her groove, and the end result was a humiliating KO5 loss at the Vixen’s feet.

“I remember that win fondly,” Miss Watson speaks from the other side of the room. “Everyone was hyping up Avril’s chances for a title run. In the end, I was the one who ended up with the Flyweight title. It was the best year of my life. I see the same patterns this year, but it’s worse for Lavigne, isn’t it? She’s in a bad slump and I’ve gotten myself three wins in a row. If Avril wants another quick loss, I’m happy to oblige.”

Lots on the line for Ms Lavigne, who needs to pull herself out of this bad slump, and some would say going up against Emma at this point of a three-fight losing streak is just suicide. But that’s Avril Lavigne for ya. The two ladies meet at the podium and Emma’s physical advantages are clear with almost four inches over the older Canadian singer. The two girls don’t exchange words, simply raising fists to the chin and making more rude gestures before turning to head backstage.

Hours later, Avril makes the first appearance, striding onto stage to the sound of her new single "Bite Me" and deafening cheers from the home fans. The punk-princess is clad in her usual black sports bra and short tights with hot pink trimmings, her long blonde hair in a ponytail. She pumps a pair of similar-coloured gloves into the air and flashes a cocky smile to the cheering crowds as she struts down the ramp, high fiving the fans along the way before making it into the ring. Up next is the Vixen, with Emma also breaking out a grin as the Potterverse welcomes her back to the ring. She’s been conspicuously missing from social media these past few months, but now breaking into a little jig along the ramp in her white sports bra and yellow boxing trunks.

Referee calls this next PPV match to order, with both ladies gearing up in their fighting stances in the corners. Will this rematch go any different, or will Emma repeat her magic? HERE WE GO with ten rounds of Flyweight action to find out!

ROUND 1:
Despite the tough talk, Avril knows Watson is dangerous. First minute is a calculated dance as the shorter girl stays away and keeps her hands tight and firmly up. Watson comes into this fight with all the advantages, confidently strides in and initiates with the jab combos that land on Avril’s arms in quick succession. Both ladies are getting a feel of each other especially after not meeting for two long years. Avril’s doing her best to counter on the spot, a right cross screaming in after a combo lands on her guard, but Emma’s just too fresh as well, slipping left and right and generally staying alert for a counterattack. The Vixen’s renowned for her counter-punching skills, so even then, these exchanges seem to end with a hard sock to Avril’s face, Emma even reaching under the arms on occasion and smacking her gloves into the Doll’s soft tummy. End of the round and so far, things are looking superb for the British starlet!

ROUND 2:
Lavigne charged her foe down the last time these two met, and she sure as hell has learnt her lesson. The Doll remains calm, measured and precise, keeping her smaller frame away from most of Emma’s combos before having the courage to tag her on the face with wicked payback. The Dollhouse fans are coming alive before our eyes and ears, with them cheering and leaping from their seats each time Lavigne bunches up the cheek or lands a stiff blow to Emma’s side. Watson needs to recalibrate her approach here in the second round, her unusual offensive stance not working so well against an increasingly dangerous and smart opponent. Not much damage done either way this time, but Avril is the one who stays nimble all the way to the bell, and the Doll makes it out of the ring alive with a wide round to balance things out.

ROUND 3:
Emma, however, is taking a page out of her opponent’s book. All those recent wins have perhaps gone to her head, and she strides out of her corner moving and twitching like she’s got something to prove. She wades into Avril near the ropes, driving a right hand straight into her arms to make the Doll feel the force of the impact. Lavigne grunts but already is trying to get away and regroup, but the follow-up barrage lands all over her arms and body, making her retreat even harder. Here comes Emma, pushing and pushing in despite some right hands being eaten from Lavigne, who’s using her jabs to keep the Brit at bay, only to TAKE another straight cross to the nostrils, which smacks her head back silly! Good lord!! Lavigne’s flailing back and in tatters!! Her eyes are shut and she wobbles dangerously towards the turnbuckle. Emma LEAPS in and BLASTS her across the chin with a swivel-hook, and DOWN THE DOLL GOES in the early quarter of this rematch!! OUCH!! Avril certainly didn’t see that comin’! The Doll is already trying to lift her head from the canvas, a look of shock on her face as she attempts to push the rest of her body back up. Meanwhile, Emma’s looking smug in the neutral corner, wringing one of her fists to the crowds as if to show that the rest of this fight is going to be a piece of cake. For now, Ms Lavigne recovers to her feet by the count of 8, and nods feverishly to the referee that she intends to continue!

ROUND 4:
Fourth round and Avril’s fighting even more cautiously than before, keeping her back almost glued to the ropes and fully conscious of the irony she’s on the ropes. Emma, on the other hand, is fully eager to win their second encounter, keeps stalking inwards with purpose and swinging her fists at the Dollhouse Queen’s direction. Emma, however, having trouble pinning Avril down, with Lavigne swerving and ducking under hooks like her life depends on it, occasionally reaching under and socking the Brit to the tummy before scurrying back out of the way. Emma is not giving up, however, and the third minute sees Avril being nailed on the face with cross-hands that shriek in before Lavigne can react, almost making up for her lack of success. Overall, it’s a close round for either woman, but one thing’s for sure: this fight is FAR from over!

ROUND 5:
Emma has surely been in tougher fights, and the former champ takes a deep breath before pushing off again to bring on the aggression. The Vixen really wants to dominate, and it’s clear she’s underestimating Avril’s prowess here by a large margin. She keeps wading in fast before throwing combos at Avril’s head, hoping to nail her again on the chin or to the side of the head, but Avril’s been practicing her own headwork, keeping her movements fluid like water for someone close to 40. Emma is quickly running out of steam, breathing heavily as she keeps coming at Avril recklessly, MISSES with another hook aimed high at Avril’s head before getting BASHED on the base of her chin with a return uppercut! OUCH! And it’s Watson’s turn to look groggy! The Brit actress has her head turned upwards, letting out a grunt of pain as she goes stumbling back towards the center of the ring! AND HERE COMES LAVIGNE, suddenly seeing a moment to POUNCE! Emma groans as her locked arms are protecting her head but her tummy and lower frame taking a ton of punishment, Avril just growling and snarling as she SLAMS in lefts and rights! Emma’s back hits the ropes and she’s not faring ANY better, takes another left-right hook combo to the midsection, which bends her over in half with a lurch, and DOWN SHE GOES, a look of pained anguish on her face as she SINKS to her knees! It’s a return KNOCKDOWN for Avril Lavigne!

Wow! What a comeback performance for the Doll, who proudly raises her arms as she slowly walks back to the neutral corner. Emma, meanwhile, is still hugging her body, on her knees, trying her best to extend the rest of her body back into an upright position. Look of condescension on Avril’s face as she gestures for her to get back up, if she can. Emma recovers by the count of 8, but with great difficulty, clutching the top ropes with both hands to steady herself.

There’s a minute and a half left on the clock, however, and it’s Avril’s SHOW to shine! Poor Emma’s locked and pinned down on the ropes as the Doll LEAPS and POUNCES on the taller girl with reckless abandon! Emma grunting and struggling as she attempts to get free of her clutches, but Avril keeps herself close and on top of her foe, her fists buried into the body at every opportunity as she snarls into Emma’s face and chest. The referee’s hovering nearby, hoping to see signs of resistance from Watson, but all the Brit is doing is holding onto Avril’s shoulders for dear life, trying to use her bigger bulk to at least glue their frames together and prevent her tummy from being tanned by leather. But Avril’s magically kept her arms and fists low and between their bodies, hissing as she bats and batters the body with abandon. Suddenly, the referee is JUMPING IN AND SIGNALING FOR THE BELL?! Holy-- Is it over?!? He’s prying Avril off and shoving her back to her corner, but Emma’s still standing in the immediate aftermath, looking confused and clinging onto the ropes, shell-shocked but still alive, in some capacity, no doubt! A controversial ending indeed, but no matter - this match is over via TKO5!

Official Decision: Avril Lavigne defeats Emma Watson via TKO5!

AFTER:
Lavigne standing in the middle of the ring, hand on her hips, panting hard but smiling just as hard as she stares at the confused brunette. The arena is a mixture of wild cheers and boos as the fans of both ladies express their thoughts about the result here tonight.

“Get fucked Watson!” Avril mocks with glee. “You’re lucky he stopped me that ealy….but I guess that’s what happens when you don’t fight back bitchhhh!”
Emma still on the ropes, breathing heavily and clearly upset by the stoppage, shaking her head as she gives the blonde a long death stare from her position against the ropes. Despite her blatant disagreement with the ref’s call, it seems like the classy former champion knows the result is final and protesting would be futile right now. There’s not much she can do at this point except wait for the inevitable rubber match and let her fists make the final statement then and there.

Meanwhile in the center of the ring, Avril gets her hand raised by the referee as she takes a victory pose, grinning to her fans who are livid, finally back to seeing the singer score a big win after three disastrous defeats in recent months.

Minutes later, the Doll is interviewed on her march out of the ring.

“Watson got lucky last time….not tonight though bitches!” Avril laughs. “I overwhelmed her and the ref totally made the right decision there…he just wanted to protect her. She should thank him. I was going all out on her ass!”

Lavigne keeps it short and cocky as she usually does, high fiving her cheering fans on the way out and leaving the recovering former champion behind. Emma can be seen shaking her head in her corner as she watches the blonde singer disappear into the backstage.

The disappointed actress exits the ring herself shortly after with the VIXENs team on her side to encouraging cheers from her loyal fans, surely already envisioning in her mind how she’s going to beat the Dollhouse’s Punk-Princess in their inevitable future rubber match.
