(Written by Girls Friday/Results by Lookout!)

Intro:
A clash of British beauties here as singer Dua Lipa and actress Wallis Day fight it out to move closer to a title shot, both are now in the top fifteen of the rankings, their careers have followed similar trends, question is which one is the better fighter?

Both fighters put their thoughts on this bout on their social media accounts, Dua posted "I can't pretend I haven't been keeping an eye on your career Wallis, you have proven to be a top fighter, to now share the ring with you will be a lot of fun but I am going to come out on top, I have been working my butt off to be in great shape and am ready to be a champion" along with the following photo.

Wallis posted on her own social media "I am so looking forwards to fighting Dua, stepping into the ring with her will be a pleasure, if she thinks that I will be a push over well let's just say I am ready to go toe to the with her" along with a video to give her fans a fun tease of what she wants to do to Dua.

Fighting time, out first comes Dua with her coach Gisele Bundchen and cut woman Eva Carneiro, she walks down the aisle with a smile, looking relaxed as she rolls her shoulders to keep loose, stepping into the ring with a bow to each side of the ring, she is wearing a red sports bra with gold trim, matching trunks and shoes, red gloves, her hair tied into a braid.

Here comes Wallis with her coach Nicole Kidman, she is also looking cool as she winks to a young fan, raising her arms in the air as she stands at the bottom of the aisle, taking in the cheers of her supporters, she is wearing a black sports bra with yellow trim, black shoes and trunks, yellow gloves, while her hair is tied into a ponytail as she gets into the ring, she flexes her arms with a smirk as she looks at Dua.

Referee brings the fighters together at the center of the ring, both look calm as they look over their opponent for any flaws they might exploit, a respectful touch of gloves follows after the referee's instructions are over, with the fighters walking back to their corners, each taking a deep breath before the bell rings to start 10 rounds of lightweight action.

Round 1:
Kicking off the action circling each other, they start off behind their jabs trying to get the range right, very similar textbook orthodox stances as neither grabs hold of control of the action in the opening thirty seconds, mainly feeling the others skills out.

Till Wallis ups the tempo with a double jab that is blocked, quickly switching to the body with a short right right before dancing backwards, showing off her hand speed as Dua nods at her, the blonde grinning as that seemed to give her a little confidence boost.

The action starts to heat up as they open up on their opponent more, Dua landing a crisp one-two combo, getting clipped across her cheek with a left cross though as she looks to step forwards, Wallis starting to push back Dua in the exchanges as she steps into her punches more.

With the final minute of the round seeing Wallis dip under a jab to bang in two hooks to the body, she lands a grazing overhand left that has Dua backpedaling, Wallis happy to follow as she pushes Dua into a neutral corner, where she forces Lipa to shell up as she throws a flurry towards her head up till the bell rings, Day looks happy enough with how things have started off for her.

Round 2:
Dua looks to come out the blocks a little quicker, using a double jab now to measure up Wallis, who is moving her head more in response as already it is becoming a chess match between these two highly skilled fighters, Wallis landing some nice combinations to the body, getting clipped over the top by cross punches.

Nearer the end of a closely fought opening minute, Dua lands a jab square into the lips of Wallis, stepping in behind it with a right hook that turns the head of the blonde, back goes Day towards the outside part of the ring, Lipa holding the center now as she works away, looking much happier now with her positioning.

Both land stiff combinations as they trade, Dua keeps knocking back Wallis towards the ropes with her straight shots to the beautiful face of the actress, Wallis needing to cover up when she gets caught with a left cross/straight combo, finding herself backed onto the ropes with Dua switching to the body to give Wallis a taste of her own medicine.

Pushing Dua so she can get off the ropes, Wallis deciding to push the issue by moving inside, both banging away to the body as they work, at the bell they step away without incident, Dua nodding to her coach as she knows that was a much better round for her, Wallis not looking worried at all as she sits on her stool.

Round 3:
Stepping back out their corners matching each other up again with double jabs now, it's hard to separate them at the start of rounds, both are slipping punches to land some meaty counter punches, then find themselves getting clocked back as they seem evenly matched.

Landing a jab into the chest of Dua, Wallis then crouches under a right hook before landing an uppercut that knocks back the raven haired singer to her heels, Dua now finding herself being driven back onto the ropes with piston like body shots, then an overhand right smacks into the side of her head, forcing her to grab onto Wallis in a clinch.

Broken apart and ready to fight again, Dua is quick off the mark with a one-two combo, not wanting Wallis to think she is going to have an easy time of things, she attempts to follow up with a right hook that Wallis gets out the way of, instead it's Wallis landing a counter left across the cheek of Dua.

Who finds herself being herded near the ropes, being outworked as she is boxing more defensively, at the bell Wallis looks pleased with herself as she returns to her stool, Dua meanwhile nods as she returns to her own stool, knowing she is in a tough fight tonight.

Round 4:
Wallis seems to be the one growing in confidence, using her upper body movement to give Dua a few headaches as she is starting to counter her opponent, drilling punches square into the lips of the singer to make Dua back off each time she lands flush.

Stepping in with a straight to knock back the head of Lipa, Day is pressuring her onto the ropes, bashing Dua around her guard with hooks till she is clinched up, referee splits them up with Wallis this time the quicker off the mark, not wanting Dua to have time to think.

Dua manages late in the round to catch Wallis with a left cross followed by a straight, maybe the blonde getting too aggressive as Dua starts to catch her with several clean counters of her own, crowd cheering as they start to see sweat flying from both fighters brows.

Final moments of the round sees both fall in to a heated exchange on the inside, bodies taking the brunt of the action as they work away, at the bell it's another solid round for Wallis, Dua isn't going anywhere yet, even though she is the more marked up of the two fighters.

Round 5:
Back out they come with Dua starting to switch things up more, going to the body with straights as Wallis swings over the top, getting clipped with punches to the top of her head when she dips down as Wallis isn't going to be caught out too easily.

Dipping down to work the body of Dua, they clash heads as they both have a similar idea, referee checking them before letting them go back at it, Dua catching Wallis when they resume with a double jab to the top of her head, moving back out the way of an overhand right as she is starting to gain confidence.

Though Wallis isn't letting her have it so easy, drilling in single straight shots when she sees openings in Dua's defence, but a left cross slams on her jaw to open her up to an uppercut that snaps her head back, allowing Dua to work her back onto the ropes.

Final thirty seconds sees Wallis try to fight her way off the ropes, both women slugging it out as cheeks take the brunt of their hits, crowd on it's feet whistling and cheering them on till the round comes to a close, with both taking a breath as they look at the redness on each fighter cheeks before heading to their corners to be cleaned up.

Round 6:
Trading around the center of the ring, both are looking for a big right to turn the tables to their side, with Wallis landing a straight into the chin of Dua, muscling her back onto the ropes as she pounds away at the sides of her opponent before she is shoved off so Dua can get into space again.

While Wallis wants to get Dua back on the ropes again, she walks into a counter right on her chin, with a left cross slamming onto her jaw, Dua then follows up with another one-two as she is the one walking down her opponent, Wallis needing to deflect a straight to move off into space.

After a hard fought first half to the round, Wallis again misses as she loads up her right a little too much, a counter left slams across her temple to rock her back, Dua quick to step in with hooks and uppercuts, Wallis needing to hold onto Dua so she can stop her, broken up Wallis gets away from the ropes.

As they resume Wallis is being herded near the ropes, Dua landing the crisper punches with the space she has to dodge then strike, the bell rings with Wallis showing a hint of annoyance as she looks to the lights and bangs her gloves together.

Round 7:
Dua is starting to get the range better as she drills her punches into the chin of Wallis, who is showing her frustration by throwing more hooks, getting countered by a left hook on the chin to knock back the blonde onto her heels, allowing Dua to pound in more punches through the mitts of Wallis to her face.

After clinching with Dua, Wallis gets off the ropes and begins to double up her jab, boxing more defensive to try to work her way back into the round, with Dua moving side to side more to find an opening, both drilling punches into the others face, swelling starting to form on their cheeks.

Past the halfway point of the round, Dua slips a straight to land a short right hook to the ear of her opponent, a left hook rocks back Wallis as Dua starts to unload, A LEFT HOOK MISSES FROM WALLIS, WITH AN UPPERCUT KNOCKING HER BACK TOWARDS A NEUTRAL CORNER, THE FOLLOW UP RIGHT HOOK SENDS WALLIS DOWN SITTING AGAINST THE BOTTOM TURNBUCKLE!

Dua walks over to the other neutral corner with her right arm in the air as her fans chant her name, 1....2...3...4.. Wallis blinks to try to clear her head, holding her chin as she looks up, 5...6...7... Wallis grabs for the middle ropes but slips back down, 8...9...10 she doesn't have the strength to get up, instead getting counted out!

Winner Dua Lipa KO Round 7

After:
Dua bounces on her toes yelling "woo!" As she raises her arms into the air, another important win on her journey to the top as she gets a thumbs up from Gisele, she returns to her corner to get a hug from each of her corner team.

Someone else who could use a hug right now is Wallis, she shuts her eyes and tilts her head back, Julie coming over to kneel next to her to check she is OK, Wallis nodding that she'll be OK, more pride hurt then anything else, soon enough Wallis is helped up back to her corner so she can be cleaned up and gloves taken off.

Once both women are ready they step to the middle of the ring for the final result to be announced, Dua gets her left arm raised in victory to chants of her name, Wallis is quick to offer her a handshake after in a sign of sportsmanship, Dua accepts with a nod and a big smile as they wish each other good luck going forwards.

As Wallis is about to leave the ring, she turns back to tell Dua "next time you are going down" raising her right fist with a smile, Dua nodding with her own right fist raised, both smiling as they know this won't be the last time they fight it out, with Wallis leaving the ring with Julie beside her.

In the ring Dua bows to each side of the ring, blowing kisses to her fans to show them love as they have her, soon she leaves the ring too, hoping that she can break out from the shadow of her stablemate Kendall Jenner, she looks on the right path if she can keep winning.
