Intro:
We kick off Tonights action in Everton Football Clubs Goodison Park stadium with a leggy battle of lightweights, model Mathilde Tantot hopes to get her first victory in celebrity boxing, she takes on the debuting TV presenter AJ Odudu, who will leave with their first win?

Going into the fight both posted on their social media accounts, Mathilde telling her fans (translated from French to English) "I will be going to England to claim my first victory, Diana (Korkunova) and Robin (Holzken) were both took fights, AJ doesn't worry me one bit, I will beat her on her home soil."

While AJ posted on her account "this has been a few months in the works, I have spoken to several of my friends about boxing, now let's see all the hard work come fruition, as they say mama said knock you out!" Posting a picture along with the message to show off her hard work in the gym.


Fight night, first through the curtain comes Mathilde with her coach following behind, she taps her gloves together as she walks down the aisle, her fans from France cheering her on as there's a few boos mixed in, entering the ring Mathilde is wearing a navy blue sports bra with one red and one white stripe down the sides, matching trunks and shoes, red gloves to show off her national colours, along with her hair being tied into a ponytail, she raises her arms in the air as she stares hard at the nearest camera.

Here comes the debuting AJ now with her coach to her right, the Blackburn girls gets a more positive response, waving with a big beaming smile to the crowd, looking excited to step into the ring for the first time as a pro fighter, she climbs into the ring wearing a neon green sports bra, trunks and shoes, white gloves, as her hair is tied into a ponytail, AJ taps her abs with her right glove as she stares at her opponent with a cheeky grin.

Both fighters walk to the center of the ring, Mathilde looking lean and taller then AJ, who certainly looks to have the more muscle of the pair, there's a respectful fist bump between the fighters, then they jog back to their corners as the crowd looks excited to see these two go at it, the bell ringing to start 10 rounds of lightweight action.

Round 1:
Out come the fighters up on their toes, Mathilde is looking to establish her reach advantage early on, sticking her jab firmly into the top of her opponent's head, AJ soon dips under one of those jabs to land in two left hooks to the body and a right, Mathilde gritting her mouthpiece in her mouth as she gives Odudu a shove, backing off into space as the English lass bangs her gloves together, looking to have enjoyed that body punching combo.

AJ shows some inexperience as she misses with some looping punches, not setting them up behind her jab, leading to Mathilde landing a one-two combo back into the face of Odudu, keeping on the move trying not to have a repeat of Robin blasting her out in the opener, doing a great job keeping AJ at bay.

Final minute sees AJ work her way to the inside after using her own jab more, she gets in a few body shots before being held onto, both women grappling to the ropes, long legs nearly getting tangled up, referee splits them up with Mathilde the quicker off the mark when they resume, stabbing in several good clean shots to the top of AJ's head as she moves side to side, the bell rings to end a good round for Mathilde, AJ being told to remember her training as she listens to her coach, nodding along to them.

Round 2:
Back out they come with AJ forcing the issue more with her jab and using her own footwork honed on Strictly Come Dancing, Mathilde lands several more good straight shots but eats an overhand left on her jaw to turn her head, AJ bullrushes her into a corner, where she whacks away at her body with thudding shots, Tantot certainly doesn't look to be enjoying those as she clinches up.

Resuming the action, both are landing some solid punches through guards, problem for Mathilde is AJ is not being forced back, with the smaller fighter being the aggressor, another straight lands into the solar plexus of Mathilde before a left hook cracks her on the chin to send her into the ropes, trying to hold onto AJ'S head, it's not a tight clinch as AJ keeps banging away at the body of Mathilde, making her wince till she grabs a more solid grip on her.

Split up again with not long left in the round, Mathilde is trying to box off her back foot, getting smacked back by AJ when the Presenter is able to close the gap, bullying the model around to the delight of her coach, the bell rings with Mathilde already looking a little worn out, she sits on her stool breathing a little harder, AJ meanwhile is all smiles even as her cheeks are marked up, nodding to her coach as they give her some more advice.

Round 3:
Early in the third and AJ is forcing her way back in, harpooning the stomach of Mathilde with her punches, leading to the French girl being driven against the ropes early, Mathilde trying to fight back on the inside but her power is waning from these thudding body shots, an uppercut rocks her head back to add to her troubles, LEFT HOOK ONTO HER EAR SENDS MATHILDE DOWN TO HER SIDE!

AJ jogs to the neutral corner with her arms in the air, smiling as she is loving this, 1...2...3... Mathilde rolls to her back groaning, holding her stomach, 4....5....6... Shutting her eyes as she just stays laying, 7....8... The French fans are urging their girl up, 9....10 but she doesn't have the strength or the will to get up!

Winner AJ Odudu KO Round 3

After:
What a start for AJ as she bounces up on her toes, looking like a kid who got what they asked for Christmas with her winning smile, jogging over to her coach to give them a hug, thanking them for the months of training to get to this stage, helping her win on her debut.

While Mathilde is helped to sit up and an ice pack placed on her body, she is breathing hard as she admits AJ hits like a horses kick, after a few moments she is helped over to her stool so she can rest against the turnbuckles, all her confident going into the fight looked to be sapped away in the early going once she felt the power of her opponent.

Over goes AJ as she checks on her opponent, there's a hand shake between the former opponents, Mathilde nodding her respect to her conqueror tonight, with AJ returning to her corner as Mathilde gingerly steps out the ring, wanting to be back in her locker room and probably back in her hotel room to sleep.

The winner gets her right hand raised by the referee, she flexes her arm for as she gets cheered, looking at the cameras, AJ says "I am ready for anyone who wants to try me" flexing both arms at that point, she then leaves the ring with her coach, looking proud of herself for stepping into the ring and winning, though fights going forwards won't be so easy for her, at thirty four she also probably can't be waiting too much for fights if she is truly dedicated to the sport and wanting to be the best.
