Intro:
Second bout tonight sees Spain's Victoria Secret model Clara Alonso take on the hometown girl Jodie Comer, we are in Everton football clubs Goodison Park, where Clara hopes to be the first person to stop the undefeated Jodie.

Heading into the bout both posted on their social media accounts, Clara said "I guess this is where I am now, having to go into my opponents backyards to fight them, guess what Jodie, you are setting yourself up for a fall, I actually know how to win unlike the losers you've fought" not holding back on her opponent.

Jodie replied "Clara I don't care what you think of who I've fought before, look at the way I have beaten them, you will simply be number four on my record" Jodie biting back, showing that while these two are from different worlds with their jobs, there is a level of animosity between them.

Fight night, first through the curtain comes Clara with her coach at her right side, she ignores the boos as she stares squarely at the ring, she steps into the ring wearing a yellow sports bra with red trim, matching trunks and shoes, red gloves, her hair is tied back into a ponytail, she bounces on her toes looking out the ring a moment for her opponent.

Here comes Jodie to a loud roar, the Liverpool girl is all smiles as she walks to the ring, thudding her blue gloves together, while she wears her usual red sports bra, trunks and shoes, she wears the blue gloves in tribute to the football club she is fighting in the stadium of, her hair is tied into a ponytail, she steps into the ring looking at Clara with an ice cold stare as Clara taps her chest with her right glove.

Both fighters jog to the center of the ring, referee going through their final instructions as the girls bounce on their toes with an intense stare, they thud their gloves into their opponent's set before jogging back to their corners, the bell rings to start 10 rounds of lightweight action.

Round 1:
Both come out testing each others reflexes out, Clara turns up the tempo as she deflects a straight, ramming one into the chin of Jodie, following with a left/right cross combo to her cheeks, Jodie finding herself needing to box with the ropes behind her as Clara is getting right into her grill, crowd yelling at Jodie to have her opponent, problem for her is she is fighting on the back foot.

Two left hooks ram into the side of Jodie's body, she lands a right cross up top to the side of Clara's head as both slug it out in close, Clara looking to be getting the better of the action as she has more room to work, Jodie needing to clinch up as the fight is about to enter its final minute.

Broken up by the referee, Jodie starts to catch out Clara as the Spanish beauty is starting to rush in, maybe overly confident from bullying Jodie around till this point, a counter right smacks Alonso across her cheek, with a double jab following to knock her back a step, the round comes to an end with Clara jogging back to her corner with a fired look up.

Round 2:
Trading more punches in their exchanges, Jodie not wanting to get caught as easily by her opponent, drilling in a stiff jab between the mitts of Alonso, getting clipped with several stiff punches in return around her body, Jodie continuing to move around the outside part of the ring as she is allowing Clara to hold the center.

Deflecting a jab aside, Clara lands a left cross to the cheek of her opponent, then a short straight into her face, with Clara working away at the body of Comer, using her left forearm to push back Jodie when she tries to clinch, they nearly clash heads when Jodie manages to wrap up her opponent.

Less then forty seconds to go, Jodie is not looking pleased to say the least, forced to trade as she moves around the ring, Clara simply coming straight forwards, looking to hurt the "Killing Eve" star, just missing with her power punches as Jodie moves out the way of trouble, at the end of the round it is another solid round for Alonso, while Jodie is being given instructions by her coach on what to fix.

Round 3:
Jodie is starting to try to time Clara coming in, the first few attempts are just off as she gets clipped around her cheeks, missing with several counters, then a missed right cross by Clara leads to a double jab into her face by Comer.

The timing of Jodie is getting better as she lands a counter left across the face of Clara, with a right cross following up to knock back the visiting fighter to her back foot, Jodie now turning from defence to attack, working back the model with straight shots.

Pushing aside Jodie as Clara looks to get off the ropes, both landing more hard punches into the others face as they open up, marks forming on both fighters faces, the round comes to an end with both women trading glares before they head to their stools, coaches wiping them down as they listen to their coaches.

Round 4:
Pounding in more punches through guards, Jodie leans out the way of a left cross, a right smacks across the eye of Clara, who cries out as there's some swelling already around it, Clara now forced to cover up more tightly, Jodie switching up her targets not to be too obvious, getting smacked back into her face when she leaves her guard too low.

Snapping out punches around the others cheeks, Jodie slips a straight to ram in a left hook to the body of Clara, there's a clash of heads, maybe not so accidental from Clara as she stepped into Jodie, both retreat back a moment as they check they aren't cut, before resuming fighting.

Less then thirty seconds to go, Jodie counters a right cross from Clara, landing a right into her nose, then a short right onto the swollen eye, back goes Clara she is shipping punches through her guard to her face, soon the bell rings to end the round with Clara's coach looking relieved as she returns to her corner, with her eye being worked on.

Round 5:
Clara is having problems with that left eye, Jodie purposely moving to the left side of her opponent, drilling in punches to that side of her head, Clara swings in two hooks that find thin air, desperately swinging only earns her a counter right on her nose, followed by a left hook on her chin, A RIGHT HOOK AROUND THE TEMPLE OF CLARA SENDS HER TUMBLING DOWN TO HER SIDE!

Jodie gets a loud roar from her supporters as she heads to the neutral corner, 1....2....3....4.... Clara rolls to her back groaning as her eyes are shut, 5....6....7.. Gumshield hanging out her mouth as she looks out of it, 8...9...10 Clara is counted out!

Winner Jodie Comer KO Round 5

After:
The biggest win of Jodie's career so far, she raises her arms in the air as she takes in the loud roar from her fans, who are happy to see one of their own get the victory, Jodie returns to her corner to give a high five to her coach, who looks happy with her, even though it was a slow start to the fight for her.

Clara on the other hand needs to be checked over by her own coach, moments later she sits up with her left eye looking basically swollen shut, looking with her good eye to her coach, a little glazed expression on her face, the ringside doctor checking on her.

After a good minute passes, Clara is helped to her feet, looks like the doctor wants her in the medical area in the back, she needs her coach as a crutch, head down as her coach tells her she will come back stronger from this defeat.

In the ring Jodie has had a drink, been wiped down and gloves taken off, she heads to the center of the ring, getting her right hand raised as her supporters chant her name, Jodie blowing a kiss to the crowd, she then heads out the ring to hug several of her family members at ringside.

Heading to the back, Jodie keeps having a stop/start schedule, while she seems to have plenty of talent, the fact she seems to have one or two fights a year makes you wonder her dedication to this sport, if she is to reach the top she will need to fight more to do so.

Someone who seems to take notice is Indria Weis, the German veteran posts on her social media moments after the final belt rung on this bout "is this really the best Jodie can do? If she wants a real test then give me a call, my schedule is open right now" along with a photo showing how ready she is for the challenge.
