Intro:
Top fifteen clash in the welterweight division, English actress Emma Corrin has came rocketing into the FCBA since debuting earlier this year, she has the tough task of beating a former FCBA welterweight champion in American model Hilary Rhoda, a win will move them closer to a title shot.

The fighters both were asked for their thoughts on the fight before the bout, first to speak to FCBA reporter Alicia Atout in the media area of the arena, Emma was first up to speak to Alicia as she stands in a black dress shaking hands with the reporter, Emma looking serious as she stands staring at the camera.

Asked about the fight, Emma tells Alicia "well I am proud of how I have done so far, beating Cassidy (Freeman) was the highlight of my career, beating Hilary will be another step to getting a title, I know people are starting to take notice of me and I welcome that pressure" nodding to her own statement, fists clenched as she looks like she wants to get started now.

Alicia asks how it feels being part of a group of welterweights that is getting a lot of praise and attention in her stable, Emma smirks as she replies "I am glad to be able to train alongside Megan (Thee Stallion) and Danielle (Herrington) every day, they both are strong willed and it drives me on to be the best, one of us will become a champion before long, I just hope it is me first" winking before she heads off, happy to have made her point.

Meanwhile Hilary is wearing a black tank top showing off her abs along with black jogging bottoms, she stands hands on hips after exchanging hellos with Alicia, she looks in a serious mood herself as she looks at the camera, eyes narrowed as she has her own point to make.

When asked about this bout, Hilary replies "I can't wait to knockout another one of these GBS girls, I have knocked out Danielle and Emma is next, I am sick of that stable and their fighters" shaking her head, Alicia looks on a little shocked at the tone from Hilary.

Alicia asks is her feelings on the stable to do with her loss to Megan, Hilary shuts her eyes with her jaw set, she then answers "you know I want a rematch with that bytch, she is hiding because she knows I will knock her out, that day will come before long" she then storms off, Alicia nodding with a worried look, maybe hoping Hilary won't have a go at her after the night of action is over.

Fight night, Emma is out first alongside her coach Jeri Ryan, Emma nods to the crowd as she bounces on her toes at the top of the aisle, she walks down to the ring wearing a navy blue satin robe with gold trim, the robe comes off to reveal she has a navy blue sports bra with gold stripes down the side, matching trunks and shoes, gold gloves with blue thumbs, her hair tied into a ponytail, she steps into the ring bowing to the crowd before settling into her corner.

Now out comes Hilary with her coach Rebecca Romijn and cut woman Eva Carneiro, she bangs her gloves together as she walks to the ring, looking in the mood to wreck Emma, she is wearing a black sports bra with white stripes down the side, matching trunks, black shoes and gloves, her hair is braided as she gets into the ring, bouncing on her toes in her corner as she stares at Emma.

The fighters then come face to face at the center of the ring, both women have hands on hips as they lock eyes in a tense stare down, neither backing down as the referee finishes their instructions, they swipe their gloves together before heading to their corners, when they are ready the bell rings to start 10 rounds of welterweight action.

Round 1:
Kicking off the fight feeling each other out behind their jabs, Emma the one starting to be more forceful as she crouches down to test the abs of her opponent, getting caught with a short left cross atop her head to make her retreat back two steps, both fighters coaches yelling advice.

Emma looks to get more forceful but is met with a double jab into her face, followed by a right cross as Hilary reads her well early in this fight, using the opening to bash another one-two combo into the face of the actress to knock her backwards, taking the center of the ring for herself.

Where Hilary works from as Emma can only really land a few good shots before being forced back, the experience of the former champion on show as she switches up her targets nicely, looking calm and collected as she keeps Emma at arms length.

As they enter the final minute, Corrin starts to realise she needs to change tact, feinting with a jab so that she can dip under a straight aimed at her head, banging in two short hooks to the body, then grazing the cheek of Rhoda with an overhand right, it does enough to knock the model off balance as Emma drives her across the ring onto the ropes, Hilary covering up tightly as she is under assault up until the bell rings, a great start from Hilary but Emma showing a flash of her skills that have made her a top prospect.

Round 2:
Back out they come with Emma getting on the front foot earlier, leading to a few heated exchanges at midrange, cheeks taking the brunt of the hits, Hilary trying to keep Emma at range with little shoves with her left to open up the space between them, the crowd chanting for both fighters as the tempo quickens up in the ring.

When Hilary tries to shove Emma back with her left again, an overhand right smacks her to the side of her head, Hilary is knocked to her right a step, Emma taking the invitation to knock back her opponent into a neutral corner with four clean hits into her face, forcing Hilary to shell up as she goes to work on the inside.

Clinching up with Emma, there's a little taunting by both women as Hilary tells Emma to hit harder, Emma replying for Hilary to shut up and bring it, when they resume Emma is quick to slip a straight to land a short right cross to the jaw of the older woman, knocking back Hilary onto the ropes this time.

Pushing Emma back so she can get away from the ropes, Hilary looks a little frazzled by her opponent, boxing more defensively behind her jab for the remaining forty five seconds, Emma slowing down herself as she doesn't want to walk into a counter right being primed by her opponent, at the end of the round it's a great reply from Emma to her opponent.

Round 3:
Trading more stiffer single punches early on, both fighters cheeks are getting marked up as they try to earn the others respect, Emma again shows off her smarts with several little feints, leading to her baiting Hilary into throwing a left cross that finds air as she crouches under it, two right hooks land to the ribs, Hilary moves back before Emma can throw an overhand left.

Doubling up her jab as Emma jab as comes straight at her, Hilary snaps back the smaller fighters head, forcing Emma back a step as she rifles in a jab/straight/jab combo to the delight of her coach, Emma now being pressed back as the opening minute goes by.

It isn't so easy to keep Corrin on the back foot, Hilary missing with a right hook as Emma leans out the way, instead a straight lands on the chin of the American to knock her head back, Emma now driving Hilary back against the ropes, pounding in short hooks to the body that have Hilary gritting her mouthpiece till she can clinch up with Emma, referee breaking them apart so they can fight on.

Confidence seems to be on Emma's side as she knocks back Hilary with the more precision punches, Rhoda covering up more as she looks a little unsure how to tackle the problem in front of her, at the bell it's another round on the board for Emma seemingly, Hilary being told by Rebecca where she is going wrong, Hilary nodding as she listens intently.

Round 4:
Doubling up her jab early on, Hilary is looking to get her target in her sights now before launching her right, getting clipped around her ribs by hooks as Emma looks to be getting to dissuade her from ramming that jab into her face, a right hook catches Emma clean around her eye as she lands a left hook to the ribs of Hilary, there's a little swelling around that left eye as a mouse forms.

Boxing with harder punches being exchanged as the intensity rams up, another right cross soon catches Emma around that eye, making her bark out as she takes a step back, a one-two combo lands through her mitts square into her face, with Hilary now the one pressing the action.

Backed near the ropes, Emma grabs onto Hilary in a tight clinch, with the Brit using her head to press into the chin of Hilary while trying to wrestle her back, referee having a harder time breaking them up, warning them to listen to their instructions, when they resume the hard shots that follow are starting to send sweat flying.

Late in the round with Emma slipping a straight aimed at that eye again, Hilary maybe getting too predictable as Corrin hammers in two short hooks to the side of her head, Hilary getting back into her own corner by Emma, who uses her left forearm to press her onto the turnbuckles, Rebecca yelling at Hilary to force her way back out as things get a little scruffy, at the bell Emma gets a shove from Hilary with the referee stepping in, tempers starting to flare up as coaches try to calm their fighters down.

Round 5:
Hilary looks to build off the last round early with her jabbing attack, Emma though soon slips a jab after a feint to land an overhand right to the ear of Hilary, then a left hook to the jaw that wobbles Rhoda's legs, AN UPPERCUT FOLLOWS TO SEND HILARY DOWN ONTO HER BACK!

Crowd going wild as Emma raises her arms in the air while walking to the neutral corner, 1....2....3....4.. Hilary shakes her head as she props herself up on her elbows, 5...6.... Hilary turns to her front, 7....8.. Pushing up to her feet, raising her fists up to show she isn't going down with a fight.

They resume with Emma looking to finish this now, Hilary moving around the ring counter punching, stepping out the way of a left cross, landing a straight against the eye of Emma, with another right hook opening a cut under the eye of Emma, with the actress crying out as she backs off.

Hilary backing up Emma with a one-two combo, she steps back as Emma tries to land two hooks that fall short, Hilary landing a short right hook to the temple of Emma, who now stumbles back as Rhoda steps in with an uppercut that snaps back the head of Corrin, A LEFT/RIGHT HOOK COMBO THEN SENDS EMMA ONTO HER BACK AS THE CROWD ROAR!

Hilary heading to the neutral corner with her eyes locked with Jeri outside the ring, 1....2....3... Emma has her mouthpiece hanging out her mouth, 4.....5.....6...7.. Putting her right glove over her eyes as she looks to be badly dazed, 8....9....10 that's all she wrote! Emma couldn't beat the count.

Winner Hilary Rhoda KO Round 5

After:
A chaotic fifth round ends with Hilary raising her arms in the air, staring down at Emma before she heads over to her, telling the beaten fighter "you're not good enough to fight the likes of me" when Jeri comes in the ring, Hilary says "tell Megan she is next" before going to her corner to be met with a hug from Rebecca.

Jeri slowly helps Emma to sit up, checking her over as Emma admits her head is buzzing, the ringside doctor coming in to check on her, Emma shaking her head to clear some of the fog, Jeri not looking too pleased as she gives a few nasty looks to the opposition corner.

Soon Emma is helped up and out the ring by the ringside doctor with Jeri, the fact that Emma was so close to winning but fell short must hurt a lot more then just a simple loss, still Emma gave a former champion in Hilary a hard showing, some growing pains are not a bad thing as Corrin looks the real deal in the making.

The winner meanwhile has been wiped down, gloves taken off and now is ready at the center of the ring, getting her right hand raised in victory, Hilary nods to her fans as they chant her name, before telling the cameras "never write me off" as this has certainly not been her best year in the ring.

Still as Hilary leaves the ring, she keeps proving that she is a dangerous proposition for anyone who wants to make their name off beating her, she leaves the ring with Rebecca seemingly with only one thing left on her mind, to defeat Megan Thee Stallion after that hard hitting defeat several months ago before she can even think about throwing her name into the title race.
