Ewelina Lisowska vs Perrie Edwards

BEFORE: Former BBU flyweight champion Ewelina Lisowska returns to the ring to face the crowd favorite Perrie Edwards however this fight doesn't have any ranking value according to BBU TV's Denise van Outen which suggests fan service still pays a lot of money to go ahead with the idea. Ewelina admits she needs to shake off the rust and points out she's been contacted by the Romanian Invasion entourage over another fight opportunity next month: "Everyone can connect the dots. I had a great run with the belts but I was off for the last seven months so here we are. Perrie is a perfect opponent to feel that boxing bug again. Crowd loves her and I'd love to knock her out too!" (giggles).

Ewelina Lisowska wears a crimson red bikini set & white gloves. Long black hair tied in a braid. Perrie Edwards wears a pink bikini set & silver gloves. Long blonde hair tied in a high ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the flyweight division.

Round 1:
Perrie tries to get an early jump on the former champion but struggles to split the stubborn high-guard and gets picked off over the top instead as Ewelina quickly establishes the supreme order. She bashes the fellow singer in the face and connects with several crisp shots to wobbles the Little Mix stunner onto her heels. Another hard left and Perrie has to bail out of the exchange and Lisowska is generous enough to let her get away with the retreat. No need to panic here for the Lioness as Edwards is probably the one that has to take more risks but the action slows right down come the final minute and the Foxes supervisor Myleene Klass appears to be satisfied with that situation alone.

Round 2:
Another quick start from Edwards who lays a couple of good hooks into the brunette's face but she lacks true power supply to back the Polish girl onto the ropes and has to soak up another overhand counter-punching blast that drops her into visible trouble come the one-minute mark. Perrie tries to hassle herself through the scattered slugging but Lisowska steps up into her efforts and plugs a couple of high rollers on each temple before she smacks a right hook on the nose. Ugh! Edwards rolls down the curtains but stays up on her feet; she yields real estate following that combo and this time Ewelina pounces on the opportunity to pummel her onto the ropes in short order. Perrie has to slug it back at the older singer but finds thin air and Lisowska easily clean her up in the closing stages leaves the blonde with a couple of nasty shiners under the left eye.

Round 3:
Ewelina pulls the slugging trigger in more efficient fashion and hassles the County Durham native all over the ring as Perrie's aggressive approach has all but vanished in the so called meantime. Myleene Klass looks even more upset in the corner but BBU TV is unsure whether it's because of Edwards' lack of progress in the ring or the fact Ola Jordan is busy attending to Frankie Cocozza in the VIP lounge.... back inside and Ewelina rattles the blonde back to the ropes where she works some half-hearted harpoons just to keep the blonde pinned in a hole. Perrie swings over the top to land a single punch here and there but she's unable to shake off the former champion and has to clinch her in desperate fashion thereafter.

Round 4:
More hard-hitting menace from Lisowska who cuts the blonde up below the right eye for a change and then bangs a left/right combo on each temple to sink the Geordie singer into genuine spasms. Perrie gets stuck on her heels and fails to raise her gloves when the Polish foe doubles down on the hooking delivery... she nails the blonde on each temple before dropping a low shot on the navel that SENDS EDWARDS DOWN ONTO HER KNEES... the former champion struts to her corner where she high-fives coach Mel B. alas there's more work to be done as Perrie gets back to her feet at seven and claims she's not quite finished yet. She gives it another try but Lisowska works the overhand to dig more leather into the blonde's face and makes her gurgle in pain just past the two-minute mark. The action heads onto the turnbuckle where Edwards gets bashed into a standstill and begins to scowl over the limit while Ewelina methodically works her over until Myleene Klass THROWS IN THE TOWEL on Frankie's orders. TKO4 Ewelina Lisowska!!!

AFTER: The Foxes entourage doesn't seem too upset over this result as Perrie isn't a designated contender at this stage even though the blonde operator indicates she still could have given the former champion some trouble tonight. Thanks but no thanks and Frankie C. is better off protecting one of his girls from more damage. There is more money to be won with Perrie staying away from the injured list!

Meanwhile Ewelina is happy to get through this fight without a real scare and confirms she accepted the Romanian Invasion challenge and will take on fellow singer Inna sometime next month. This clash was long overdue to happen according to many BBU pundits & fans alike.
