Intro:
We kick off tonights PPV with a fight between a tough veteran and an undefeated prospect, Indira Weis claimed she wasn't impressed by Jodie Comers performance in her last fight against Clara Alonso, now in the BBU Arena in Wales we'll see if Indira proves her doubts right or Jodie continues to right up the rankings with her biggest win of her career.

Before the bout took place BBU TV's Anna Woolhouse got a quick word with the fighters, heading into the Black Eagle Boxing locker room first, Anna sees Indira working the pads her coach Gina Wild is wearing on her hands, Indira wearing a black tank top, black joggers and black gloves, bare foot as she dances on her toes, barking in effort as she goes through her warm up before getting changed.

Once they are finished Anna is told by Gina she only has a few minutes at most, Indira nods to Anna with a quick breath, Anna asks so why are you so confident tonight? With Indira replying "as I said I wasn't impressed, Clara is a good but not a spectacular fighter, she made Jodie look ordinary, I have the power and know how to beat Jodie, I've trained with the best coaches in Germany for nearly a decade, I have beaten great fighters, so Jodie won't be so touted by the end of tonight" Gina telling Anna she has to go, the interviewer nodding then thanking Indira for her time.

In the Comer locker room, the Scouser is sitting on a bench getting her hands wrapped in red wraps, ready for her gloves as she is sitting with a red robe on, her coach waving Anna to pull up a stool near them, where the cameras hear the coach tell Jodie "this is where you prove you are the real deal" Jodie nodding to them.

Anna asks how confident she is about tonight, Jodie answers with a smile "very confident, I know you'll ask how I felt about Indira calling out my performance, well to be frank this is probably the most relax I have been going into a fight, I know what I can do now, Indira can call me ordinary, overhyped and all the other crap she has said about me, she missed her window to be a great fighter, now she is trying to get a pay check off me, I'll happily give her an arse kicking for it" checking how the wraps feel as she clenches her fists, nodding they feel good to her coach, Anna thanking Jodie before the cameras leave the room.

Fight night, out first comes Indira as she walks down the aisle wearing a black robe with yellow trim, Gina following behind her smiling as she looks relaxed about this fight, the robe is taken off as Gina stands at the ring steps, revealing a black sports bra with yellow trim, matching trunks and boots, yellow gloves, her hair tied into a braid as she jogs up the ring steps, getting into the ring tapping her gloves together as she bounces on her toes looking focused on the fight to come.

Here comes Jodie now with her coach, nodding to her fans who've traveled to Wales as they cheer her on, giving her red robe to her coach, Jodie is wearing a red sports bra with white trim, matching trunks and shoes, red gloves, her hair tied into a ponytail, she steps through the ropes looking at her opponent with a icy stare, bouncing on her toes shadow boxing to get herself ready for this tough test.

Both women head to the middle of the ring at the urging of the referee, both bouncing on their toes to keep loose as they shake their arms, nodding to the referee about the final instructions, then when it's time to touch gloves, they give each other an uncompromising look as they thud their gloves into their opponent's, then jog back to their corner, the bell rings to start 10 rounds of Lightweight action.

Round 1:
Kicking off with Indira looking to press the action right away, working on the inside as she slams in a double jab to the body of Jodie, who throws back over the top, with both trying to force their will on the bout, an overhand left catches Jodie on her chin, making the Liverpool lass cover up as she is driven back onto the ropes, Indira finishing the first minute strong as she bangs away at the body of her younger opponent to make her groan out.

Jodie giving Indira a shove to her face, moving away from the ropes as she now starts to open up more, both drilling away with combos, Jodie stabs a double jab into the nose of Weis to slow her charge down, still though she can't find her way away from the ropes with them behind her.

Leading to a straight landing into her chest, then a clubbing left/right hook combo onto Jodie's jaw, left forearm in her chest as Indira bangs in her right to the body, Jodie clinching up with Indira, referee needed to split them up as the German singer is looking to rough up her opponent, broken up and able to work, again Comer is able to land a few solid punches into the face of Weis to hold her off till the bell rings, Indira starting the fight in great fashion, Jodie sitting not looking flustered yet, nodding to her coach as she is told to get her head into the game.

Round 2:
Back out they come looking determined as again Indira looks to close the distance on Jodie, stabbing her punches into the top of the smaller fighter, dancing more side to side to keep Indira from closing her down as easily, controlling the pace of the action better.

Still Indira keeps on coming forwards, tightening her guard up to take punches on her gloves, seeing her chance she drives Jodie onto the ropes with a little shove to her chest, slugging away at the body of the actress as Jodie swings back at her head, both women fighting hard on the inside but Jodie again has to hold on to force the referee to split them up.

Less then a minute to go with both women boxing nicely around the center of the ring, Indira just misses with a left hook and eats a counter right across her cheek, a follow up one-two combo knocks her back a step as Jodie starts to put her punches better together, forcing the veteran to the outside part of the ring, soon the bell rings with Comer looking satisfied with her effort, Weis nodding to herself as she returns to her corner, knowing she isn't going to win that easily.

Round 3:
Coming back out their corners with Indira slipping a jab early on, landing a stiff right into the body of Jodie, making her groan before an overhand left then and uppercut lands up upstairs to send Comer to her heels, Indira bullies her into a neutral corner as Jodie covers up, the singer is swinging in hard hooks, some landing till she is dragged into a clinch.

After being split up Jodie looks cautious not to make a mistake, Indira looking that apprehension against her as she herds Jodie back around the outside part of the ring, landing several good thudding blows to make her corner team look excited, watching their girl dominate the action.

But a missed left hook leaves Indira open to a clubbing right to her ear by Jodie, a left cross then lands before an uppercut from Comer sends Indira reeling back three steps, that gives a spark to the younger fighter as she bashes back Indira to the ropes, this time Weis has to hold on, both women snarling as they try to wrestle each other against the ropes, at the bell they push apart with a furious expression on both their faces, referee ordering them again to their corners before they head to their stools to get cleaned up.

Round 4:
Indira has certainly pushed the pace of the fight so far, but Jodie is landing some nice counter punches now as she let's the veteran come at her, Indira landing more glancing then serious blows as Jodie moves more on her toes before planting her feet for her counters, maybe working out what to do with Weis.

Who barrels into Jodie, causing a clash of heads as they nearly trip up as well into the ropes, referee breaks them up and checks them, luckily no cut as both shake their heads, as they resume though Comer makes the mistake of trading in a rage with the heavier handed Indira, leading to her being knocked back onto her heels, Indira whacks in a right cross that busts the bottom lip of the English fighter to groans from the "Killing Eve" stars fans.

Late in the round Jodie pushes off Indira, landing stinging jabs into her face as she remembers to keep on the move, Indira looking annoyed when her power punches find air, mostly single straight shots landing from the German fighter, at the bell both fighters glare at each other before jogging to their corners to sit down, Jodie grimacing as her bottom lip is cleaned up, Indira looking at Gina as she is being told she has Jodie on the ropes, the Black Eagles Boxing corner looking the more confident at the moment.

Round 5:
Resuming fighting around the center of the ring, Indira is looking to step in more but Jodie times her dipping down, a right hook crashes onto the temple of Weis, who stumbles two steps to her right side as her eyes shut, a left hook knocks her head the other way as her legs look like jelly, GINA IS SCREAMING AT INDIRA TO HOLD! INSTEAD ANOTHER RIGHT HOOK TO THE SIDE OF INDIRA'S HEAD SENDS HER CRASHING DOWN ONTO HER SIDE!

"F**k yeah!" Screams Jodie as she raises her arms in the air while staring angrily down at Indira, then jogs over to the neutral corner so the count can begin, 1...2....3....4... Indira rolls onto her back, eyes shut as she is groaning, 5....6.....7... Arms out at her side as she lays spread eagle, 8....9....10 it's academic as she is counted out!

Winner Jodie Comer KO Round 5

After:
As soon as the bell rings Jodie is jumping for joy, a beaming smile on her face as she overcomes her toughest test to date, you can't question Indira's toughness as she pushed the younger woman around while taking punishment, Jodie jogs over to her corner to hug her coach, they tell her good job but also that there are things to work on, Jodie nods looking excited to keep on improving.

Indira is helped to sit up by Gina after being checked on, she admits to being buzzed badly, head spinning till now, Gina pats her legs as she kneels in front of her, telling her "you fought well Indira, it was just a lucky punch tonight, you'll be back kicking ass soon" Indira smiling as she gets a kiss on her cheeks by Wild.

Then with help from one of their corner crew, Indira is slowly helped out the ring and to the back, wanting her to be checked over away from the ring celebrations, Indira doesn't look overly concerned by this defeat, she pushed a woman thirteen years younger then her and undefeated, the cougars in the BBU better watch out for her.

In the ring Jodie has been wiped down, bloody lip has started dripping claret, hair is freed as she gives her fans a wave from her corner, then she goes to the center to make this result official, getting her right hand raised in victory, Jodie can be seen mouthing "thank you" to the crowd as they cheer her.

Then Jodie asks for a microphone with a smile, one is handed to the referee to give her as she clearly has something on her mind, once the microphone is in her hand Jodie says "thank you all for your support tonight, I want to first say Indira you are a tough old broad, my lip certainly doesn't love you right now" touching her lip with her left hand and wincing as some in the crowd laugh at her joke.

"Seriously though I have heard all these comments that I don't fight enough, I don't test myself, I am f**king undefeated in five now, so Crossover is coming up next month, I'll keep this simple, any one from the ACB or FCBA wants to fight me then call my agent, there will a contract waiting for you, I am ready to get to the next level and then get a title shot in the BBU" Jodie says looking fired up, before reverting to smiling as she thanks the referee for giving her the mic, handing it off before she leaves the ring with her coach.

Jodie certainly looks motivated to prove the doubters wrong about her boxing career not meaning anything to her, the big question now of course is who will accept the challenge from either organization, already Crossover is looking intriguing and we are not in July yet.
