BEFORE: It's almost desperation time for Lily-Rose Depp who still searches for her maiden BBU victory. Maybe seven is the lucky number after all as the young model hopes to finally break the losing streak against Ulster veteran Nadine Coyle of Girls Aloud fame. BBU TV's Denise van Outen claims Lily needs to beat the Irish singer or just admit she's a lousy punchbag who might be better off working as mud wrestler if she's really desperate for attention. No response from Depp as she realizes the joke is on her for the time being while Coyle believes she will dispatch the lacklustre youngster in no time. The Cardiff Arena is set for After Dark action so here we go!

Lily-Rose Depp wears a black bikini set with pink trim & pink gloves. Long dark dark blonde hair tied in a sleek ponytail. Nadine Coyle wears a red bikini set & black gloves. Long dark brown hair with bangs tied in a curled ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the flyweight division.

Round 1:
Lily bursts into a high-octane jabbing drive that Nadine controls with her superior reach as genuine power punches are hard to find during the initial tangle. The Lioness entourage realizes how desperate the young model is and Nadine withstands the early challenge despite being well-known for her glass chin handicap. Depp focuses on the head-hunting attacks and lands some single punches along the way before Coyle comes back at her through the overhand response. The action is full of determination but lacking precision before a clash of heads throws the singer off the range wholesale. However Lily-Rose just can't step on the gas in the closing stages and lets the brunette escape into safety.

Round 2:
Lily keeps working on the head-hunting route but she bounces off the singer's forearms and gets picked off with another overhand delivery instead. Nadine is almost getting these free shots too easily as the blonde's high-guard remains non-existent during the second round as well. If only the singer had a genuine power punch on display.... she has to clobber Depp onto the post via sheer volume of her attacks but Lily spins out of the trap at the last moment. She tries to rattle the older woman upstairs come the final minute again but Coyle's superior reach allows her to stay on top of the jabbing effort regardless.

Round 3:
More back & forth swinging without much revenue until a clash of heads slumps Nadine on her heels while Lily-Rose finally lands a power shot into her chin. Ugh! The singer slumps to the side and can't recover fast enough for Depp not to take advantage of the circumstances. She pounds the brunette onto the ropes and laces her with more shots to the body before a drilling uppercut nails the older girl on the chin outright. Nadine scowls in pain but refuses to bail out into earmuff coverage; she drops a couple of hooks into the blonde's face and avoid a complete disaster while Lily-Rose tries to plug her in the midsection in the closing stages. She does claim the round on points amid some angry shouts from Lioness coach Mel B.

Round 4:
More gut-checking efforts from Lily who suddenly finds herself hurting the Irish singer in genuine fashion. She carries a stray elbow into her breasts before a left hook nails the brunette on the jaw and slumps her into more trouble. Lily-Rose gets vocal as she sprays the leather around and outworks the older foe; Nadine swings over the top and can't quite stop the model working from the inside. Both girls fly in with some quick punches but Depp hurts the singer to the body in more efficient fashion and clobbers her behind a lenghty earmuff come the final minute. She adds a couple of harpoons around the liver area and leaves the former Girls Aloud lead singer in a spot of bother at the bell.

Round 5:
Nadine tries to knock Lily's head off in pure slugging fashion but only walks into a right hook on the nose that stuffs her into loud spasms as Lily-Rose finds another left/right combo on the chin. She fails to fold the Irish singer but then has enough time to plug one on the solar plexus that Coyle doesn't see coming. Ugh! Nadine tails off on soft knees and can't raise her mitts fast enough before another right hook tags her on the nose. She wobbles forward so Depp has a free shot and she SMOKES the ailing brunette on the chin one time too many! Nadine crashes flat out on her back with eyes closed and coach Mel B. just throws her arms in the air in pure disgust. She knows what's coming here... Nadine is cooked and doesn't even make a genuine effort to beat the count. It is over! KO5 Lily-Rose Depp!!!

AFTER: Seven IS the lucky number for the blonde model who leaps in the air and even hugs the referee when she realizes her losing streak is finally over! Okay, so maybe Nadine was the low-hanging fruit but a fighter with 0-6 record can't take anything for granted after all. Lily refuses to reveal her upcoming schedule - and she's been a busy little bee in 2022 already - but vows to strike on that iron while it's hot so expect to see more of this determined free agent sooner rather than later.
