BEFORE: Romanian singer Elena Gheorghe might have lost the national supremacy battle to Inna last fall but she's determined to rebuild her stock by knocking off UK-based competition instead. She dispatched Nadine Coyle in three rounds on the Boxing Day PPV and she squares off against another fan favorite with questionable hitting power Frankie Bridge tonight. BBU TV's Denise van Outen realizes Frankie will never reach a certain level of performance and she might be the least accomplished member of The Saturdays but female celebrity boxing is as much about fan service as the actual results so nobody will tell the East Londoner to reconsider her position on the BBU market.

Elena Gheorghe wears a purple crop top, matchint hip-huggers & white gloves. Long auburn red hair tied in a half-up ponytail. Frankie Bridge wears a light blue bikini set & silver gloves. Shoulder-lenght dark brown hair straight. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the flyweight division.

Round 1:
Redhead gets on behind the early charge and picks Frankie off in a speedy exchange before looping a left cross on the eye to stagger the Brit onto the ropes. Frankie had serious issues with her defense over the years and it doesn't get any better here as Elena shakes the rust off her the hard way. She clobbers the Londoner onto the ropes and glues more leather into her face much to the crowd's dismay. Romanian manager Corina Caragea urges more slugging attacks and Elena duly obeys to the advice as she thumps a couple of visible shiners underneath each eye before Frankie finally secures the clinching stalemate. Woof. That was a nasty one for the local fans and...

Round 2:
...it doesn't get any better early in the second as Gheorghe cranks up the jabbing volume and dishes out more hard hits straight into Frankie's face! The pocket dynamo from East London has to dance her way around the slugging pursuit but she eventually stumbles onto the ropes where Elena slams a left/right combo on the chin and lifts Frankie off her feet with a booming uppercut smash moments later! DOWN GOES BRIDGE!!! Uh-oh! The younger singer simply folds under pressure in the corner and has to embrace a standard eight count while Elena high-fives her manager and looks more than relaxed already. The slow count helps Frankie to recover from the knockdown daze but she does very little to stop the Romanian slugging and only dances around on her toes in pure avoidance for remainder of the round. The crowd doesn't like it and the atmosphere only gets worse when Elena makes some gestures aimed at the fans during the interval.

Round 3:
Elena tries to smash more leather into Frankie's face and she does just that as the brunette seeks a heads up attack to upset the odds but only walks into a booming combo that spills blood from her nostrils. Uh-oh! Frankie gets stuffed upon impact and eats another left/right combo before the redhead flies in with a right hook on the ear that SENDS BRIDGE DOWN FOR THE COUNT again! Disaster for the partisan crowd as Frankie remains down on all fours during the otherwise slow count and there's more blood coming from her nostrils too. The comeback is heading for the exit door fast and Frankie only sits down on her heels when the ref screams "TEN" into her face. KO3 Elena Gheorghe!!!

AFTER: The Romanian Invasion gears up for the Inna vs Ewelina Lisowska showdown but their inferior flyweight fighter proves to be anything but a field filler. Those kind of performers are always very difficult to rank and BBU TV's Denise van Outen claims Elena could establish herself as a very prolific gate keeper in her own right. However The Saturdays crew has other ideas and Vanessa White vows to "f### this bytch up soon" on social media! Game on?
