BEFORE: Veteran lingerie model Jessica Michibata has agreed to test out the new Italian prospect Alessia Uva who looks to further expand her profile following a couple of wins back in the spring. Alessia realizes she has to gain enough experience to be considered a real contender and the Italian lightweight market is crowded enough already. There are some big fights out there scheduled to take place sooner rather than later but BBU TV's Kate Abdo claims the Milan-based model can sneak in among the established names once she defeats the otherwise struggling Michibata tonight. The fight has been set in undisclosed location on the French island of Corsica.

Alessia Uva wears a light blue one-piece swimsuit with yellow & red floral theme & white gloves. Long black hair tied in a sleek ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the lightweight division.

Round 1:
Alessia tries to secure an early advantage and rips into the fellow model's body but Jessica withstands the initial test and loops a meaningful response over the top catching the young Italian on the chin. Both women settle into a close range jabbing dispute which remains even until Jessica cracks a left hook on the ear and wobbles Uva on her heels. She jumps into immediate follow through and clobbers the brunette onto the ropes where Alessia finally comes to life and bangs a couple of hooks in response. This isn't enough to stop the Japanese model though and Michibata enjoys a rare dominant spell in the final phase when rips more clean shots into the younger brunette's chest and leaves her slumped in visible discomfort at the bell.

Round 2:
Jessica seeks more slugging success and squares up to the fellow model to drop in quick jabbing strikes and force Alessia out of her comfort zone. The lanky Italian neutralizes the danger in mid-range and gradually begins to land her shots as she picks Michibata over the top before hacking a left cross on the nose that wobbles the Asian model forward. Alessia cracks an immediate uppercut and buries her right glove in Jessica's breasts before another left hook on the ear drops the older brunette onto the ropes. Jessica tries to regain the slugging prowess but the younger model is simply too quick for her now and cleans her up in the corner landing more hard shots to the body.

Round 3:
Alessia intends to take over the jabbing volume and she's fortunate Jessica tries to make up for that poor second round and accepts the close range gauntlet. Both women dish out high-octane punishment alas they can't quite land the head-knocking punch before Uva switches her targets and drills a harpoon double on the exposed midsection. Jessica gets stuffed on her heels and swings wide off the mark but she doesn't have the mobility to escape a furious rush up the middle thereafter. Alessia works the uppercut count and digs deep into Michibata's cleavage trapping her on the turnbuckle come the final minute. Jessica tries to avoid the damage by clinching the Italian into a stalemate but Alessia still cracks some good shots and punishes the ribcage until the bell finally halts the action.

Round 4:
Jessica is asked to match the Italian's slugging delivery again and this time she has a hard time answering the challenge. Alessia pummels her from both sides and lands several clean hits up the middle to the point she glues the Japanese foe to the spot in the center of the ring and has a free series to further extend her advantage. Jessica is unable to clinch the Italian anymore and tries to keep her honest in mid-range but Uva dominates the action and bangs the cumbersome foe onto the ropes where she slams more quick hooking outs until she buries the veteran behind a tight earmuff in the closing stages of the round. Italian coach Martina Colombari urges Alessia to drop more shots while Jessica looks so vulnerable but the young prospect lets her off the hook and claims she's got this covered anyway.

Round 5:
Alessia flies in with another gut-checking drive and cripples Jessica upon impact. The older model tries to float one upstairs but meets a brutal uppercut from the inside and wobbles into spasms while Uva turns it from the hip and slams a right hand on the solar plexus to finally breaks Michibata's resilience. Uh-oh! Jessica takes a couple of steps back and lowers her head just so Alessia can SMOKE her with another hard hook on target. DOWN GOES JESSICA!!! She crashes flat on her back hard and spits out her gumshield during the count. Alessia caught her flush on the jaw and it will take more than ten seconds to recover from this incident. It is over! KO5 Alessia Uva!!!

AFTER: The Milan-based prospect claims her third victory but refuses to over-celebrate the result and points to bigger opportunities on the horizon if she can make it on the Canalis vs Gregoraci beach boxing undercard next month. "This is where the real beef is but I'm coming there in the best shape of my short career. I know Martina (Colombari) can pull some strings. Boxing fans need new talent on TV... like ME and not some past-prime hacks like Manuela Arcuri or Ilary Blasi. Then again, I can knock both of them out so who knows what happens?" (winks).
