Before: With Priyanka Chopra’s win over Melissa Benoist, HISC has now evened the Stable War at 1-1 --so here comes the first tie breaker. Young “DC” Campbell takes on storied veteran Natalie Portman. That current conflict with the PLP seems to have started with Natalie loss to Puncher Brec Bassinger now faces another young member of that stable.

“I still say Bassinger was lucky,” Natalie says resentfully. “I am sick of hearing from the PLP trolls about how I am ‘over-the-hill’ and ‘ready for the FCBA Retirement Home’. I am GLAD Campbell is so much younger, It will that much more satisfying beating her down. I am READY and EAGER for this fight.”

Danielle just smiles: “Aren’t these old timers cute? She actually thinks she’s still got what she had years ago when she was a lot younger and hasn’t lost her stuff. Brec showed that, but being a stubborn old coot, Natty just can’t admit it. I don’t like beating old people like her, but she’s got it coming because she needs the reality check. So am more than happy to be here and teach ‘Old Natty’ a lesson.”

Natalie glaring at DC: “You are SO going to regret talking to me like that. It obnoxious young punks like you that need to be taught a lesson, You WILL be taught one by ME!”

DC just keeps smiling: “Like I said: isn’t she cute when she makes threats like she was still young and sassy? I could say they sound pathetic now, but why be mean? OK, Natty, you;ll have your chance shortly, See you in the ring.”

“You most certainly will!” Natalie says in a low menacing voice. The two then leave the stage through opposite wings.

The two enter the ring the crowd in wild excitement now the score is tied. Natalie is in black one piece swimsuit with white gloves and books (black laces). Hair pulled back in a simple ponytail. Danielle Campbell in hot pink one piece with a lacy look. Black gloves and boots with pink laces. Cropped hair is loose, but wetted down. Grim, determined look on Natalie’s face. DC is seeming to pull Natalie’s chain by smiling at her confidently. Nevertheless they get through the instructions, Curt glove tap and then they depart for their corners. The bell rings….

R1: Natalie and DC out rapidly and move to center ring. Dani comes pressing in, aiming at Natty’s head with her opening shots. Natalie neatly blocking the incoming and then strikes back hard and fast to Danielle’s chin. Clipping uppercuts take the energy out of DC;s attic and the younger fighter retreats. Natalie moves smoothly in pursuit now jabbing Dani hard to rips and breasts. Dani trying to fight her back but takes a cracking right off the jaw. DC’s legs shiver and she retreats further. Natalie crisply working Danielle’s torso to the bell and gets a wide win on the round.

R2: Danielle continues to be aggressive despite the punishment she took in the previous round. She wades into Natalie’s defenses and slings stinging jabs into the HISC veteran’s face. Then she goes for Natty’s midsection. Natalie feeling the impacts, but then replies with body hooks of her own. Two are circling each other in close just banging away to the body. Punch for punch trading much of the way, but then Dani sneaks in lightning strike upperfut into Natalie’s chin. Batalie’s head jerked back and she stumbles back. DC attacks the body with fresh vigor to push Natalie back, but Natty then rallies with counter body hooks of her own. They are banging away when the bell sounds and they afe forced to step back. It is a close round, but judges mark it for Danielle Campbell by a narrow margin.

R3: Natalie and Danielle circle each of at mid ring and start exchanging probing punches. Back and forth action almost lulling, then DC strikes with a whacking right/left ton Nat’s jaw. Nat falling back but Dani firing in more shots to strike at Natalie’s forehead and the bridge of her nose. Then Natalie manages to block further head shots, so Dani smoothly shifts into solid smacking hooks to Natalie’s rib cage and stomach. Natalie hunched up trying to get out some counters, but now Danielle is circling around her just punching away wherever she spots an opening. Natalie stays on her feet, but she under heavy fire from DC to the bell. Danielle wis this round wide.

R4: Danielle comes out with a confident bounce to her step. Natalie seems more wary, letting the younger fighter come to her, but as soon as DC is in—Natty strikes! Right/left! Right/left! Right/left! Three combos in a row catch Danielle by surprise and her head gets swiveled from right to left and gave again. Then as Dani falls back, struggling to get her mitts up and looking confused, Natty strikes again. This time Natalie able to slip behind DCs gloves and smite her to the chin twice and then a cracking off the jaw. Danielle nw has her gloves up but Natalie is whacking her hard in the belly. Dani doubled up and pushed into the ropes. Dani can only bury her face in her gloves as Natalie methodical pounds away at her writhing torso in wave after wave of vengeful leather. Dani somehow still standing at the bell, but she looks quite unsteady as she heads for her corner Natalie Portman back on the judges cards by winning this round wide.

R5: PLP corner crew do their best to try to repair the damage inflicted on DC by Natalie, but Dani moving slowly and tentatively at the bell. Natalie moves in cautiously at first. Natty probes with opening jabs and DC is sluggish in reacting. All the sign Natalie needs. She smashes forward with driving rights and lefts that burst between Dani’s mitts and straight into her face. Dani’s nose and lower lip spurts blood. Then Natalie RIPS a right uppercut into Dani’s chin with such force that Dani is lifted off her feet and sent CRASHING onto her back. She hits—bounces and then lies there groaning softly. Natalie turns on her heel and marches to the neutral corner. The referee starts counting, Danielle stirs and rolls to one side, and then tries to push herself up on one arm, but the arm gives way and she stretched out with her cheek wet against the canvas.

“NINE!...TEN!...YER OUT!” cries the referee.

THE WINNER OF THIS THIRD STABLEWAR BOUT: NATALIE PORTMAN OF THE HAEKEYE INTERNATIONAL SPORTS CONSORTIUM DEFEATS DANIELLE CAMPBELL OF THE PRETTY LITTLE PUNCHERS BY KNOCKOUT IN THE 5TH ROUND.

After: Natalie warmly congratulated by her HISC teammates. She looks longingly across the ring at Danielle Campbell, but medical staff wants her back in the dressing area.

“I guess I did my job too well, “Natalie says regretfully. “I was really looking forward to Walking that mouthy kid, but looks like she’s in no shape for that. So I will settle for putting my team in the lead and showing everyone Natty P can still beat the snot out of a disrespectful young punk!”

PLP spokesperson Autumn Reeser reassures fans: “Dani is all right. Our medical staff likes to be cautious. She wants me to tell everyone how much she regret losing to Natalie and reminds everyone there are still two fights left in this war.”
