Round 1:

The crowd cheers as Jamie and Queenie go toe-to-toe for the second time. Queenie’s agility gives her the early advantage but Jamie soon catches up to her pace. While Jamie’s counter punches have some success, Queenie’s speed edges out slightly and closes the round with a narrow advantage.

Round 2:

Queenie made the rookie mistake of going out too early and found it hard to maintain the speed she had the previous round. Even so, her speed is to be reckoned with. Jamie cautiously approaches Queenie and maintains her focus as she tries to thwart her offenses and take measured punches when possible. Queenie slips and becomes increasingly frustrated as the round progresses, and Jamie capitalizes on her mistakes. The round ends with both girls hardly hurt but Jamie is able to land more clean hits, giving her the lead.

Round 3:

Jamie lunges out in round 3, making her intentions clear as day, to knock Queenie out! Despite eating blows after blows, Queenie proves to be tough as nails and brushes them off. The round progresses with a little back-and-forth between the two fierce competitors before Jamie goes all out and overwhelms Queenie. Even with the last spurt of offense, Queenie survives the round and it appears that the tables have turned with Jamie huffing and puffing as she returns to her corner.

Round 4:

Sweat collects at their brows as their faces flush. Jamie eagerly attacks and lands crisp jabs to Queenie’s body but finds it hard to keep up. Her muscles burn and her chest tightens as she tries to keep the pressure on Queenie. Queenie keeps her guard tight, betting on Jamie losing steam - and she does! Queenie comes back with two clean swipes to Jamie’s face as her focus dulls. The two dizzying blows lay the groundwork of Queenie to plough through Jamie’s raised guard before sending her into the ropes with an uppercut! Jamie barely keeps herself up with her wobbly legs before a right cross sends her to the canvas for the 10 count! Queenie raises her arms in celebration as she expects to pick up a second win over Jamie..but no! Jamie is up by the count of 8! Jamie continues to defend weakly through the rest of the round, barely surviving the onslaught from Queenie.

Round 5:

Queenie comes out hot, taking advantage of the dizzying blow from the previous round to inflict more punishment on her opponent. Despite the dire circumstances, Jamie defends to the best of her ability. Jamie eats blow after blow with sweat and drool spraying out of her face but refuses to go down. As the round progresses, the power behind Queenie’s punches begins to dwindle. Jamie clinches on to stop her offense several times. Despite the best efforts, Queenie is still unable to put her rival back down. A distraught Jamie returns to her corner with her face all puffed up and her coach begins whispering into her ear.

Round 6:

Time for round 6 and both competitors have their faces puffed up from the beating they have given each other. Jamie approaches cautiously and adopts a defensive strategy, allowing Queenie to swing at her while she evades and blocks as necessary. Queenie breaks through Jamie’s defenses several times but Jamie rolls with the punches, putting her determination to win on display. And just as Queenie gases out, the tables turn! Jamie mounts on the offense and pressures Queenie into the corner, tenderizing her midsection with her leather mittens. Queenie winces and bites down her mouthguard to withstand the pain. Not able to bear any longer, Queenie clinches onto Jamie and moves out of the corner. As the ref breaks them up, Queenie shoves Jamie away and immediately distances herself away from her opponent before the bell clangs. An amazing comeback from Jamie!

Round 7:

The battle-weary fighters meet at the center of the ring, gas almost running on empty as they trade blows. Queenie lands a critical uppercut into Jamie’s chin that sends her backpedalling into the ropes but she quickly collects herself in time to respond to her opponent’s follow-up attack. Jamie evades the hook and answers with a left jab and a right cross that sends Queenie stumbling and spinning. Queenie raises her guard as she turns around and blocks the flurry of punches from Jamie. Jamie’s arms are burning from exertion but can’t seem to chew through Queenie’s defenses. Queenie finds an opening and lands a body blow, putting a pause on Jamie’s offense before swiping her chin several times. Jamie reacts out of instinct and fires a counter punch that lands! And just when they are about to take each other’s head off, the bell clangs, signalling for the end of round 7.

Round 8:

The sweat-glazed battlers meet in the center of the ring. Once again, the fight has dragged to the 8th round. Even in their befuddled state, neither of them are backing down. Groans and moans from both girls echoed through the arena, sweat and spit fly as they smack each other around. Jamie gets into trouble as Queenie corners her. She keeps her head protected at all times before finding the opportunity to slip away. Jamie pulls away from Queenie, luring her in for a counter jab! Jamie follows up quickly with a one-two punch and an uppercut, sending Queenie to the deck! The ref counts….6...7...8...9...10! The winner by knockout! Jamie Pang!

Post-match:

Jamie throws her arms up as the bell clangs, coming out of this war as the winner. Going through hell and back with Queenie in the ring, the crowd quickly calls her “The Comeback Queen” and solidifiying herself as one of the top celebrity boxers in Singapore. It goes without question that the crowd wants to see a rubber match between these two.
