Abigail Breslin(25 / 5’1” / 8-3 / Free Punchers)https://img.wattpad.com/fe2f4b002ce7b7e0b8fc5e47fb17bee2f9e76759/68747470733a2f2f73332e616d617a6f6e6177732e636f6d2f776174747061642d6d656469612d736572766963652f53746f7279496d6167652f4a684c392d41495a52776c7479513d3d2d3334363031323834362e3134393434646366386262306565343935333633323538363531322e676966
Pre-Fight:

Kunis when asked about not fighting in about a year, “Yeah, it’s… been surprising that nobody wants me on a card anymore. I mean, I know I’ve lost 10 in a row but… I’m still Mila Kunis, dammit! I’m a former champ. I deserve more opportunities than I’ve been getting.”

Breslin when asked about fighting a veteran opponent, “Mila is definitely a legend. Not a Hall of Famer or anything like that, but she’s got name recognition still. And she is a former champ. I haven’t fought in two months, so getting in the ring with someone as experienced and savvy as her will definitely be a challenge.”

R1:

The two boxers touch gloves and it’s on. Kunis swiftly moves to her left in a pair of white trunks, matching sports bra, and gloves. Breslin mirrors her in her own all-black with yellow trim attire.

The two fighters circle a bit, tossing warning shots at one another. Kunis with the reach and she uses it early to dictate the pace. That’s going to be a problem for Abigail in her young career and something she needs to overcome. She can’t seem to get much momentum going in the first round, however as Kunis’s jab keeps her at bay. Every time Breslin tries to come inside, Kunis is able to fight her off and slip out of range.

Not a super active first round, but one that Kunis takes with her savvy approach.

Kunis 10-9.

R2:

Mila throws more at the same at Abigail. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Kunis fires off a few nice jabs that Breslin’s defense can’t block. Mila is finding some rhythm now.

Abigail has to guard-up, which puts her on her heels. Mila controls the action now. Jab after jab slips through Breslin’s guard. It feels like Kunis is setting up something big. She fires off some more jabs, getting Abigail to the ropes. Here comes Kunis with an overhand right… that whiffs completely!

The older actress is exposed, and Abigail pivots with a huge uppercut to the jaw. Mila is definitely hurt! Abigail goes in for the kill. She walks Mila to a corner, busting her body up as the veteran keeps her guard up. Abigail ends the round with a few vicious blows to the body.

Comeback round for Breslin and it’s 19-19.

R3:

Abigail comes out confident. She tries to get back inside to work the body, but Mila is too slick. She uses her reach to fire off some more jabs that snap Abigail’s head back. The smaller girl needs to be careful as she’s eating a lot of quick jabs.

Abigail is able to get a left hand cross in and tries to carry that momentum. She hits a ton and it’s clear the power is impacting Mila. Abigail comes in, works another couple of shots to Kunis’s body. Mila bent over a tad. Abigail has her in a corner. She aims for an overhand right, but Mila is able to block it and now it’s her uppercut that puts the blonde on her heels!

Fast fists flying as Mila walks Breslin around the ring at will. She gets her in a corner and starts to tee off. She hits her with a really brutal looking right cross that makes Abigail collapse into the ropes. Just as it looks like Kunis has a chance to finish her off though, the bell rings.
Kunis takes the round 29-28.

R4:

A bit of a surprising display as Abigail realizes she was seconds away from getting knocked out. She comes out conservative, which Mila uses to her advantage to coast for the first two minutes of the round. She’s racking up points, firing off jabs and moving around while Breslin just sits in defense mode.

If this were the Kunis of five years ago she likely continues with this tactic… but she’s 0 for her last 10. It’s her first fight in a year. She wants to make a statement. Mila gets aggressive, and plays right into Abigail’s hands.

As Mila steps up, Abigail swings a left hook that breaks through the brunette’s defense. It has the former champ stumbling to the side. And Breslin is on the hunt. She throws a few battering left-right combos that have Kunis all out of sorts. Then… the body. Abigail’s blows almost lift Kunis off of her feet and as the round comes to a close Kunis is clutching her right side as she shuffles back to her corner.

Breslin ties it up 38-38.

R5:

Mila does her best to try to keep her distance the entire round… but she can’t. Breslin’s blows to her body have her hurt and as such her movement is compromised. Mila tries to punch her way out of trouble, but soon finds she doesn’t have the power to just stand with Abigail.

It’s a really rough fifth round for the former champ. Mila looks overwhelmed. She’s clearly suffering. Every shot Breslin hits to her body is followed with a sharp yelp of pain. Mila is showing grit by continuing to stand… but it’s not going to make a difference.

Deep into the fifth round and it’s getting ugly. Mila isn’t landing anything and Abigail continues to sink her gloves into her abdomen and ribs. Mila’s guard drifts down. Breslin hits her with a brutal right hand that knocks Mila to the ropes. Kunis’s guard comes back up.

Left. Right. Uppercuts to the body.

Kunis goes down to her knees, clutching her stomach. Her mouth guard falls out as she is taking heaving breaths. She doesn’t even attempt to get up as the ref counts to ten. She’s simply had enough abuse.

THE WINNER IN ROUND 5 VIA KO: ABIGAIL BRESLIN

Post-Fight:

Kunis, when asked what went wrong, “A whole lot. You know, I had her in round 3 but just couldn’t seal the deal. I’d like to think a few years ago we’re talking about how this is a dominant performance against a young up and comer… but instead the narrative is going to be the opposite. She can really hit hard. And I just couldn’t take the blows anymore.”

Breslin, when asked what it means to go 2-0 with her new stable, “It’s huge, but we’re not done yet. I don’t want to make it sound like I was overlooking Mila, but to be honest we were going over fighters who we thought were similar to Rachel Brosnahan. Mila was one of the top at the list, so in a way this fight was to help prepare me for the PPV this month. I’d sure love to start out 3-0 under Free Punchers!”
