BEFORE:

"It's been a LONG time since I've been to Asylum," says Danielle with a smile. "And, I plan to make a BIG splash in my return!"

"This girl is a top-level flyweight," admits Ariel. "There's no doubt about that. Gonna have to bring the 'A' game tonight. And, that's JUST what I plan to do!"

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "Back at ringside and that's 'Welcome To DC by Mambo Sauce, and here comes PLP's own Danielle 'DC" Campbell!"

McCarthy: "Second non-tomato can in a row. Weirdo must have been hitting the PBR more than usual this month..."

O'Dell: "Campbell wasting no time getting down the aisle and into the ring. And, the crowd popping for the lovely DC in that white bikini. And, that's 'I Knew You Were Trouble' hammering through the arena, but, that's not the Taylor Swift version. It's the cover by the young lady coming to the ring right now, Ariel 'Dangerous Curves' Winter!"

Cassie: "And, speaking of girls who are looking to make moves on the title in 2022...and, in Ariel's case, more than ONE title..."

Tess: "And, a win here might go a long way toward getting her some opportunities..."

O'Dell: "Winter into the ring and helped off with the robe to reveal that familiar curve-hugging white number she prefers. And, the ladies are about ready. Time for some picks. Tess likes Ariel. Mac?"

McCarthy: "Campbell's not exactly great, but even SHE can beat THIS Dancing Hooker!"

O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "I agree with Tess!"

O'Dell: "There's the bell and Campbell aggressive early stepping right to Winter and Ariel just fine with THAT! She's letting the hands go right away and backing up the taller brunette with some heavy shot! Winter stepping forward, landing another hard flurry here, and she has DC on the defensive..."

McCarthy: "Not sure what Campbell's thinking, fighting this Dancing Hooker's fight..."

O'Dell: "Danielle is an aggressive fighter. She can move well, of course, but she likes to take the fight to her opponents. Not working so well in this one thus far, though, because, as you point out, this is Ariel's game. She likes the inside work, the power shots, and she's giving Danielle a licking..."

Cassie: "Campbell will adjust. No doubt about that. This is a VERY good fighter who's put together an undefeated year and earned a couple of title shots..."

O'Dell: "At the moment, though, she's taking a THUMPING from a determined Ariel Winter. Front Streeter backing up her fellow brunette again and again with hard shot. Just seconds to go in the first. GOOD right from Winter and there's the bell, and a great round for Ariel to start things as she takes it wide."

Tess: "And, grabs the 10-9 lead."

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "Second underway and Campbell making that adjustment. She's moving the feet, circling, not allowing Winter to square her up as easily, and it's making a ton of difference. Now, we're seeing two-way stuff, with Dani getting the jab on, following with right hands, while Winter works the feet to square, then gets off..."

Tess: "Campbell has a little reach advantage here, and she's using it well."

O'Dell: "Definitely is. Winter, meanwhile, showing the ability to work at range, because that's where Campbell's keeping her. Ariel not trying to close and bang. Instead, angling, moving feet, squaring, getting off. It's good stuff from both of these young brunette flyweights..."

Cassie: "And, you see why both have had title shots and both remain threats to wear the gold."

O'Dell: "No doubt about it. We're into the last fifteen seconds of a very competitive second round. Nice combination, Campbell. And Winter now steps to, works a little body. Danielle ties up. Referee breaks them, and there's the bell. Close this time, but it's Danielle."

McCarthy: "And, we're even at 19."

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "Third begins with Winter pressing the issue more. She's now stepping to Danielle, cutting the ring, squaring her up and moving her backward with hard shot. DC hanging in there, trying to bang back, but she's once again being thrown into the defensive by the shorter brunette..."

McCarthy: "Campbell going to have to punch for respect here..."

O'Dell: "And, Danielle CAN punch, but, she's not been able to get much going when it comes to power shots in this one. That's been all Winter, and she's bringing the physical right now, backing up her rival again with a hard combination to the head and even working some body."

Tess: "Campbell just completely out of rhythm now..."

O'Dell: "And, Winter keeping her there with sustained aggression, head, body, head. Setting up punches, keeping the pressure on as the final ten seconds tick off of this one. This has been great stuff from Winter, and there's the bell. Ariel and very, very wide in the third."

Cassie: "And Winter goes back on top 29-28."

ROUND FOUR:

O'Dell: "Winter right back to work pressuring Danielle. Campbell trying to hold canvas, giving some ground but banging back some. She's not trying to get bullied around the ring, but that's Ariel's plan and she's executing it pretty well right now and THERE'S A RIGHT HAND BY CAMPBELL!"

McCarthy: "THAT'S the respect punch!"

O'Dell: "Winter wobbled! Covering up. DC going all in immediately letting the hands go and DOWN GOES ARIEL AFTER A LEFT HOOK! What a shot by Campbell! Winter down on her left side. Danielle to a neutral corner. Count at three. Four. Five. Ariel to all fours at six. Seven. Eight. Winter to her feet at nine..."

Cassie: "I was not at ALL sure she was going to beat that..."

O'Dell: "Ref giving Winter the mandatory and he WAVES ON DC! Campbell all OVER the shorter woman now, banging away with both hands. Ariel backed up to the ropes. She's keeping the guard high, trying to ride this out. Final seconds ticking away. GOOD right from Danielle gets the ref's attention and there's the bell! Winter survives, but Campbell takes it 10-8..."

Tess: "And not only grabs the lead 38-37, but turns the fight around."

ROUND FIVE:

O'Dell: "Campbell after Winter early, backing up the shorter woman with hard flurries. Ariel still wobbly and DC knows it. She's effecting a nice clean up, here, but that' not the goal, the goal is to get Winter out of there, and Danielle prosecuting that to its fullest right now..."

Tess: "Winter just trying to work clock here, get the legs back under her..."

O'Dell: "No doubt about it. She's jabbing back in spots, but doing little more than that. Danielle backing her up repeatedly, landing good shot to the head. Now Campbell pins Winter to the ropes and goes body, banging tummy before going back upstairs. Winter tying up now..."

McCarthy: "Ref ought to take a point! She's not releasing the clinches when ordered!"

O'Dell: "Ref breaks the fighters apart. Campbell goes back to work, hooking some body, but mainly working upstairs as she tries to end this thing. Winter keeping the guard up, doing enough to keep the ref at bay. Five seconds to go. Solid right from Campbell, but there's the bell. Shutout, Dani."

Cassie: "And, Campbell leads 48-46 at the half."

ROUND SIX:

O'Dell: "Campbell pressing the action as we start the sixth. Ariel holding ground now. Looks like Winter has shaken the worst of the damage as she's giving as good as she gets as the ladies trade fire. Campbell now easing off the gas pedal. She's back to creating range with the jab, moving laterally..."

McCarthy: "Smart. Don't push too hard and get caught."

O'Dell: "Winter stepping to in spots, cutting the ring, working body, head, body. DC giving some ground, circling, trying to create some space. It's a good, two-way round after a couple of dominant stanzas from Danielle. Both fighters getting some work done here in the sixth..."

Cassie: "And, nobody gaining much of an advantage."

O'Dell: "Down the stretch we come. GOOD right from Winter there backed up Danielle. Ariel steps to and works body with some hooks to the ribs and midsection. Campbell ties up. Ref going to step in to break them and Danielle circles away. And, there's the bell. Close. Winter."

Tess: "But, Danielle still leads 57-56."

ROUND SEVEN:

O'Dell: "Campbell jabbing and moving the feet, Winter looking to cut, close, and bang as we start the seventh. Campbell showing nice speed and excellent feet here, but Ariel playing the angles well, getting to spots, and getting off. Good, two-way stuff yet again between two of the best flyweights in the FCBA..."

Tess: "Campbell working the jab more in this round."

O'Dell: "Definitely is. Looking to dictate pace and distance. Winter moving well herself, working hard to get the geometry she wants and wasting no time when she gets it and THERE'S A RIGHT HOOK, WINTER and CAMPBELL IS HURT! DC wobbles and WINTER DROPS HER WITH A FOUR-PUNCH FLURRY!"

Cassie: "Right hook in there was NASTY!"

O'Dell: "Ariel to a neutral corner. Danielle dropped to her back. She's staring up, wide-eyed at the referee as his count reaches three. Four. Five. Campbell rolling to her belly at six. Seven. She's pushing to all fours at eight. Nine. TEN! It's OVER! Danielle still on hands and knees as the count passes her by and it's OVER! And your winner by KO7 is Ariel 'Dangerous Curves' Winter!"

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Tess Valmore!"

Tess: "I have our winner, Ariel Winter, and, Ariel, heck of a fight tonight..."

Ariel (nodding): "Knew it would be with her. DC is the real deal. She's a top-shelf flyweight. It was never going to be easy against her. But, I found a way. Because, that's what I DO."

Tess: "Tomorrow Front Street 3.0 begins..."

Ariel (smiling): "Which just means even MORE opportunities for me. And, I can't wait!"
