Intro:
We kick off tonights event with future Tractorpull Hall of Famer Minka Kelly looking to write another chapter in her legendary career, she fights the tough Geordie Vicky Pattison, who is looking to make the biggest night of her life a happy one to remember.

Only five more fights for Minka to get into the Hall of Fame, she already has the amount of wins needed, it's all about getting to the hundred fight mark, several pundits wonder why she picked Vicky for this, Minka was asked about the fight by FCBA reporter Alicia Atout at a press event for the card being held in a nearby to the arena in a ballroom, smiling Minka wipes a few strands of her hair behind her ear as she stands in a red ballroom gown.

Minka answers with a little story, telling Alicia "to keep this short, basically when Vicky was part of the Global Boxing Syndicate stable, when we were in the FCBA PPV after parties I would ask Cheryl (Cole) whose that loudmouth, it turned out to be Vicky, I haven't forgotten and I want a little fun before the Hall of Fame" Alicia nodding with a grin, knowing Minka is usually all business, so it shows that Vicky must have gotten under her skin.

Minka adds "I don't think Vicky will want to come to my Hall of Fame ceremony after we fight" winking as she shakes the hand of Alicia, then heads off as her manager waves her over to talk to more journalists from national TV stations.

Vicky meanwhile shakes her head as she watches Minka head off, she stands in a white dress with hands on her hips as she walks to talk to Alicia, telling the reporter "that bytch annoys me, she doesn't think that Cheryl wouldn't tell me some of the things she has said about me, if it wasn't for the fact I am being paid well to kick her arse tomorrow, I would go over and yank her around by her hair so you can all see how tough she really is" hands on her hips as she speaks, an annoyed tone to her voice.

Alicia asks if she really can be that confident of showing up someone who has had such a great career, Vicky snorts before replying "honey she has been lucky I wasn't boxing in her prime, now she is living on reputation, I'll be glad to rip the veil off her supposed greatness pet" then marches off as she gets a wave from Cheryl, Alicia asking the camera whose side Cheryl is on here.

Fight night here in Madison Square Garden, the crowd are on their feet applauding Minka as she heads onto the stage with her coach Claudia Schiffer, she walks down the aisle wearing a red sports bra with white trim, matching trunks and shoes, white gloves, as her hair is tied into a ponytail, she steps into the ring going on a lap of honour, nodding to the crowd her thanks for their support.

Here comes Vicky wearing a Newcastle United shirt, she bounces on her toes on the stage, eyes on the ring as her coach stands behind her, after she marches down the aisle with purpose, her coach helps her take off the shirt to reveal a black sports bra with thin pinstripes, matching trunks, black shoes, white gloves with black thumbs, her hair is also in a ponytail, she climbs through the ropes not getting the same reception as her opponent, Vicky doesn't look bothered as she has only eyes for Minka.

Both women come to the center of the ring, hands on hips as neither wants to back down in this clash of wills, soon enough the referee finishes their instructions, there's a swipe of gloves between them before they return to their corners, soon enough the bell rings to start 10 rounds of bantamweight action.

Round 1:
Classic orthodox (Vicky) vs southpaw (Minka) issues to start off, toes getting stepped on as lead foot meets lead foot, it's a scruffy start to the fight as both snarl, Vicky calls Minka a cow as they thrust out their jabs, when they do land clean it's on the chin.

Vicky gets annoyed as she swings in a right hook that finds thin air, Minka showing off her counter punching prowess as she lands a right onto the chin of her opponent, a left cross follows to turn the head of the Geordie, with Minka quick to establish herself the Queen of the center ring, doubling up her jab to keep Vicky at range.

Frustration already evident on the face of Pattison, while she is landing some good single punches, most of her punches are grazing the cheeks of Minka, who is landing some crisp two punch combos to control the action, showing the class that is going to make her a Hall of Famer.

But as Vicky shows late on in the round, you can't snooze on her as she lands her best punch of the round, first landing a jab into the chest of Minka, then a right cross catches Minka onto her chin to turn her head, rushing back her opponent to the ropes across from where they were, Vicky throws a flurry at Minka, who keeps her guard as tight as she can till the bell rings, a solid start from Minka as Vicky is being told to control her emotions.

Round 2:
While there's still a little toe stamping early on, both are starting to get there rhythm going as they trade stiff single shots through gaps in their opponent's defence, Vicky bringing her right into play more to catch Minka out, especially with more to the body as she wants to make it harder for the veteran to dodge then counter.

Minka is still dangerous though as she catches out her opponent with a right cross when Vicky lowers her left a little too low, a straight from Minka follows as she again begins to push forwards to the center of the ring, with Vicky throwing back hard shots in response as they exchange.

A missed right by Minka allows Vicky to club her with a short left hook to the jaw, a straight then follows to snap back the former champions head, Vicky pressing back Minka to the center of the ring, landing some good clubbing blows to make Minka shell up a little more.

A straight to the chest opens up Minka to a left hook on the jaw, Vicky driving her into a neutral corner as she unloads on her rival, Minka able to clinch up as they press their bodies tight together, Vicky wanting to make the clinch an uncomfortable one with the turnbuckles in Kelly's back, at the bell they are broken up with Vicky flexing her right arm as if to warn Minka not to try holding onto her because she is going to get bullied, Minka shaking her head before they head to their stools.

Round 3:
Back out they come to fight with more punches starting to drill through their guards, Vicky looking better now she is using her legs to create more angles to strike from herself, showing some of her own boxing technique after going head on against Minka through the opening two rounds.

Again Minka though looks the better pure boxer, crouching under a jab to hammer in a short right hook to the body, then brings her left under the chin of Vicky with a straight to knock the English lass back two steps, Vicky finding herself now being crowded by Minka, who shows some of her own muscle off to keep Pattison pressed near the ropes.

Needing to push Minka off of her, Vicky barks in effort as she comes firing back at Minka, both women landing some nasty looking punches as faces are being marked up, Minka getting a cut on her bottom lip as the crowd are loving the competitive rivalry these two clearly have, neither wanting to back down.

Slipping under a jab again, this time an uppercut catches Vicky on her chin as she is knocked back, Minka drives Vicky back into the reality stars own corner, where Minka rifles away to the body, Vicky shelling up as her coach is urging her to withstand this assault, knowing that the bell is coming, at the end of the round no celebration or taunting by Minka, she simply jogs to her stool after making her point in the ring, Vicky sitting on her stool with a little pink hue around her body, staring hard at Minka as she simply doesn't like her.

Round 4:
Slinging in more combos as they circle around the center, Vicky showing she won't go away so easily as she drives in a straight to the bloody lip or Minka, who hisses out before two short left hooks dig under her ribs, Minka landing a straight into Vicky's face to knock her back a step.

Back and forth they go in the opening minute as Vicky seems to have found another gear to match Minka's intensity, a straight catches Minka to the top of her head with a left hook again landing to the body, Vicky looks to be trying to take the legs out from Minka, before she can press forwards.

Minka showing she is made of tough stuff, sticking in to trade with Vicky, finding herself being shoved back though by a left forearm to the chest, a right smacking into the bloody lip again, with a left cross going across them, causing more blood to trickle down Kelly's chin to her chest as she grimaces when her lips are being smacked.

Final forty five seconds to go with Vicky on top, herding Minka around the ropes, switching up her targets nicely to the delight of her coach, problem for Vicky is she soon misses with a sweeping left cross as Minka sees it coming, leaning back Minka then strikes with a jab onto the nose of Vicky, followed by a left hook onto the jaw to send some sweat flying, Minka then gets in close to Vicky to pound the body with hooks, at the end of the round the referee needs to split them up, Minka might have thought she'd have an easy nights work her, she is being pushed here by the reality star, whose gloves are stained with Minka's blood.

Round 5:
Swapping punches to faces as they move around the middle of the ring, Minka keeping her left more tightly near her lips, doubling up her own jab as Vicky tries to land some hard right hooks, just missing as Minka sees them coming, smartly dodging back out the way of her younger opponent's punches.

A jab lands on the chin of Vicky, who throws a right hook that just misses Minka's nose, instead a left hook lands on the chin of Vicky before another jab is followed by an uppercut as Minka steps up another gear herself, Vicky looks a little rattled as she is leaking more punches through her guard.

Gamely Vicky is trying to fight back, she is looking sloppy though as she is missing more often now, another uppercut knocks Vicky into her own corner as her coach yells at her to clinch, A JAB LANDS SQUARE INTO VICKY'S SOLAR PLEXUS TO MAKE HER WHINE OUT, A CLUBBING LEFT HOOK THEN LANDS ON THE BUTTON! VICKY'S HEAD TURNS AS SHE SLIDES DOWN THE TURNBUCKLES! LANDING ON HER BUM WITH THE TURNBUCKLES LOOKING TO BE HOLDING HER UP!

Minka nods to Claudia across the ring before heading to the neutral corner, referee begins their count 1...2...3....4... Vicky's coach yelling at her to get up, 5....6... Her mouthpiece drops out her mouth as she looks out, 7...8.. Vicky's coach shakes their head as they look to the ground, 9...10 with good reason as Vicky is out cold!

Winner Minka Kelly KO Round 5

After:
The Minka Kelly steam engine is powering its way into the Hall of Fame, she turns to the crowd to raise her arms in the air to celebrate, her supporters applauding and whistling for her, Minka can be heard saying "thank you" to them, nodding to the fans before she returns to her corner to be met with a hug from Claudia.

On the other side of the ring Vicky needs smelling salts to be brought back around, she looks at her coach a little glassy eyed, wondering what the hell hit her, the ringside doctor gets into the ring to check over the beaten fighter, Minka said she wanted to shut up Vicky, looks like mission accomplished tonight as Vicky isn't saying much now.

The ringside doctor wants to do more tests on Vicky, with her coaches help Vicky is helped out of the ring, her legs still seem shaky as she is led to the back, this was a massive night for Vicky to make a statement, while she pushed a legend of the FCBA bantamweight division, that extra level Minka has to call upon was too much for Vicky tonight.

The winner meanwhile isn't jumping for joy exactly, she waves to the camera as she thanks her fans at home, then gets her left hand raised by the referee to make win number sixty eight official, Minka looks unstoppable right now as she edges closer to the Hall of Fame, that goal seems to have refocused the former champion.

Who soon enough leaves the ring with Claudia beside her, it's onto the PPV now for her next fight, tonight they hope has been a good warm up for the next few tests ahead as who can stop Minka's momentum?
