Intro:
Tonights main event is a massive match up between two of the best pound for pound fighters in the world today, Madison Square Garden fittingly hosts this bout, with the Hall of Famer Amanda Righetti on one side of the ring, on the other side is future Hall of Famer Taylor Swift, who is the better fighter right now?

The press conference for the event saw both fighters be front and center with getting photographed as they stepped into the hall, walking down a red carpet to the stage where they were to talk, first up Amanda wearing a red dress and heels that match her auburn hair, she smiles to the cameras as she gives a few waves to each side of the aisle, Taylor looking more like she is on a catwalk as she wears a white dress with black heels, posing with hands on her hips as she stops.

Soon enough they are both on the stage for the first face off between them, hands on hips as noses touch, eyes locked in an intense stare down as both proud women show their future opponent they have no fear for them, the handshake after is a little tense too as both know that they are fighting truly one of the best in the world.

Separating to opposite sides of the stage as a podium is placed at the center, first to be allowed to speak is Amanda, who walks up to the podium looking like she has something on her mind, telling the journalists "this is a very important fight for me on so many levels, I have respected Taylor for a long time, she has really found her groove at the Fates stable and I am sure I will welcome her with open arms into the Hall of Fame" giving a nod of respect to her opponent.

She then continues by saying "but it is more then just about us though, if I need to beat my fellow pound for pound elite level fighters to be recognized as one then so be it, I have never hidden from a challenge, even one set by a pundit, so I will punch my way through Taylor and anyone else I need to regain my spot as the best in the FCBA" a little barb thrown at a certain Tess Valmore, heading away from the podium as Taylor looks at her a little annoyed.

The singer gets to the podium with her hands either side of it, telling the journalists "first I want to say thank you to Amanda for the comment about the Hall of Fame, it won't be long till I add another achievement to my career, one I wouldn't have accomplished without the support of my stable" blowing a kiss to the nearest camera as a thank you to them.

Then she turns to look at Amanda, asking her "so you really think you will walk through me? If you think that then maybe you've taken too many hits to the head" with Amanda shrugging her shoulders in response, not looking interested what Taylor thinks about her opinion.

Taylor clearly annoyed by how Amanda is acting, moves to head towards her, security is quick to get between them as Taylor tells Amanda "I can't wait to knock your ass out, nobody walks through me" as Amanda replies "we'll see" before heading off the stage, not interested in getting into a brawl with Taylor, saving her energy for the actual fight.

Fight night, Amanda is the first onto the stage, gold and red sparks come up either side of her as she stares down to the ring with her usual intense look, marching down the aisle with Nadia Bjorlin behind her, Amanda is wearing a red sports bra with matching trunks, shoes and gloves as "Big Red" goes all red, her hair tied into a braid as she steps through the ropes, banging her gloves together as she paces in her corner, looking very motivated for this clash.

Now here comes Taylor as she has photographers on top of the aisle taking her photo as she shows off multiple poses, then she begins her walk down the aisle with her coach Ana Beatriz Barros beside her, Taylor is wearing a white sports bra with black trim, white trunks with three thin stripes down the sides, matching shoes, black gloves, while her hair is tied into a ponytail, she gets into the ring bouncing on her toes in her corner, Ana telling her she has got this as they look confident.

Referee waves the fighters together at the center of the ring, intensely they lock eyes as duelling chants ring out, even the coaches stare each other down as there is a lot of pride on the line here, after the instructions are finished, they do touch gloves with a crack of leather ringing out, jogging back to their corners as they are ready to start 10 rounds of 135lbs catchweight action.

Round 1:
"Ding!" Out they come to a loud roar, feeling each other out around the middle of the ring, Taylor snapping out stiff jabs through the mitts of Amanda when she sees openings, Amanda thrusting several of her own punches towards the body of Taylor, testing out the singers proud abs.

When Amanda starts to land a little more heavy leather, Taylor begins to use her long legs to create a little more distance, firing in a one-two combo to the top of Amanda's head, then sidestepping the actress before landing a counter right across the face, followed by a left cross.

it's Swift starting to control the pace with her movement alongside a beautiful jab, rifling in combos when she seems openings, Amanda's best shots are mostly single punches up the middle once she can target the blonde in front of her, crowd cheering for both fighters as the atmosphere is electric here.

Final forty seconds sees Amanda land her best punch of the fight as she feints, dipping under a right as she buries in a short left hook to the body, an uppercut follows to knock back her opponent to her heels, Amanda pressing Taylor to the ropes with twenty seconds to go, using the time to work the body of Swift up until the bell rings, both women can take positives from the round as they return to their corners, more so the Fates team judging by how upbeat they are.

Round 2:
Back out they come more open now they are getting a feel for each other, Amanda looking to create an opening with little feints, happy to exchange jabs with Taylor as they box around the ring with the redhead stepping forwards behind her punches, Taylor more on her toes as she does so.

After the opening forty seconds of finding their range, a jab snaps into the chin of Taylor, who finds an overhand right slamming across her face, Taylor now getting a real taste of Righetti's famous power, being knocked back towards a neutral corner by cross punches flying from both fists, when Taylor's back touches the turnbuckles she pulls Amanda into a clinch to slow her down, referee needed as both women try to wrestle the other onto the ropes.

Once apart Swift is back on the move but Righetti isn't going to let her off the hook so easily, stalking the younger woman around the ring, leading to some meaty exchanges as punches slam through gloves into faces, Taylor needing to stay away from the ropes by using little shoves to Amanda when the Bonzo Gym fighter starts to close the distance between them.

Late in the round again Amanda is coming on the stronger, crouching under a jab to fire in a straight to the body, she lands an overhand left this time followed by another uppercut that doesn't quite land flush, it does though knock Taylor onto her heels, crowd roaring as they see Amanda throwing in short hooks, there's definite thudding sounds being heard as Taylor grimaces under the pressure, at the bell she gives Amanda a shove her off of her, Amanda staring hard at her before returning to her stool, Taylor taking a breath with her eyes shut to keep calm, Ana telling her she has this, not to worry.

Round 3:
Trading more two punch combinations out the gate, they are definitely getting a feel for the others power now, Amanda needing to dip under a right to slam in two short lefts to the body, getting clipped with a left cross to her head before a right shoves her away.

Crowd chanting both fighters name as there's some louder cracks of leather as the intensity ramps up, Amanda being aggressive, targeting the body of Taylor with some beautiful looking punches, taking some across her head in reply as Taylor plants her feet a little more to generate power through her rangy arms.

Past halfway in a closely fought round, Amanda comes in with a short left to the body that just misses, instead it's a right cross slamming to the side of her head followed by a double jab to knock her back two steps, Taylor claiming the center of the ring for herself, using it to dictate the action as Amanda finds herself being head hunted by the leggy blonde.

Crisp punches keep snapping back the head of Amanda as she tries to move into the pocket, instead Taylor is doing a great job on keeping her to the outside, moving back before flashing in one-two combos when Amanda does get a little closer, limiting the power punches of Righetti up until the bell, Amanda nodding to her coach as she knows that was a bad round for her after a good start to it.

Round 4:
Taylor comes out the blocks a little faster this time, catching Amanda through her gloves with a one-two combo, then moving back when the smaller fighter tries to catch her with an overhand left that just falls short, instead Taylor slams in another straight to Amanda's face for her troubles.

Before she can get too comfortable Amanda is able to deflect a jab to hammer one of her own into the body of Taylor, who finds herself being muscled onto the ropes by the hard hitting actress, after taking several hard body shots, Taylor pulls Amanda into a front headlock, forcing the referee to step in to split them apart so the fight can resume.

As they exchange it's becoming a bit of a headache for Righetti, who is finding herself eating some stiff straights into her face, while she is being held each time she manages to get to the inside, Swift frustrating her with her tactics but they are working as Amanda's cheeks are getting marked up more.

Amanda manages to land a good jab followed by a right hook through the guard of her opponent late on, pushing her back so Taylor can't grab her as easily as an overhand left smacks the singer across her face to make her shut her eyes, the Fates fighter finding herself pinned to the ropes as Amanda returns to the body, wearing down Swift as the round comes to an end, Taylor knows by now that she won't keep Amanda off her so easily, Ana telling her to be patient, with both corners of a similar mind as they discuss wearing their opponent down if they are to win this.

Round 5:
"Big Red" looking to live up to that nickname it seems as she comes out looking to use her muscle, closing in early with a left forearm to the chest of her opponent to knock her off balance, two overhand shots slam into the jaw of Taylor to send sweat off her brow.

Herding Taylor around near the ropes, Amanda is landing the more forceful punches, snapping back the head of Taylor when she lands straight through her guard, Taylor landing several cross punches as she tries to stand her ground, needing to pull Righetti into a clinch, forcing the referee to break them up.

On the move Taylor lashes out a double jab to the top of Amanda's head, a right cross catches the redhead across the cheek, with Taylor wanting to show Amanda she won't be so easily bullied, trading stiff punches from midrange, Amanda needing to dip under a jab to hammer in a short uppercut to the body that makes Taylor groan out.

Last minute sees Swift get caught with an overhand right that turns the head of the singer, who finds herself muscled into a neutral corner, Amanda rifling in short body shots that have the blonde looking uncomfortable, at the bell Amanda having her best round of the fight, getting a nod from Nadia as the Bonzo corner looks a little more relaxed, Taylor getting her shoulders massaged to keep her loose, Ana telling her to keep her focus as she can see Taylor is getting annoyed by Amanda's rough house tactics in the round.

Round 6:
Now it's Taylor starting to throw the heavier leather, planting her feet when throwing at range, with both women slamming in punches through the others guard to redden up cheeks, a missed straight from Amanda leads to her eating a counter left across her face, with a right hook knocking her onto her heels.

Amanda finding herself bullied onto the ropes, needing to hang onto Taylor to slow her down, they are broken apart by the referee as they snarl at each other, moments later Taylor catches Amanda around her left eye with a straight, THAT OPENS UP RIGHETTI TO AN UPPERCUT THEN A LEFT HOOK THAT SENDS AMANDA DOWN TO HER LEFT SIDE!

Taylor jogs to the neutral corner with a rye smile on her face, 1...2...3.. Sweat dripping from Amanda's brow as she turns onto all fours, 4...5... Shaking her head to clear her head, 6....7.... Pushing up to her right foot, left knee bent, 8... Amanda pushes to her feet, taking a deep breath as she raises her fists up, nodding that she wants to fight on.

Taylor looks to push the pace as she steps after Amanda, who shows her toughness as she takes a few clean hits to her face, dipping under a right hook she comes up with an overhand right that smacks Swift onto her chin, suddenly momentum switching as Taylor is now being hammered onto the ropes with punches across her face.

Pulling Amanda into a clinch, Taylor lands a few rabbit punches with her right fist behind the head of her opponent, Amanda landing to the right kidney of Taylor as both are showing they will do anything to win, broken apart as the bell rings, they are warned to keep things clean, they nod with eyes locked on their opponent, as they return to their corners it was a massive round for Taylor, still Amanda is thudding her gloves together showing why she is one of the greatest to step into an FCBA with her stubbornness to go down so easily without a fight.

Round 7:
Looking to take the lead on the round, Taylor stepping in with a double jab that Amanda gets her gloves up in time to block, Amanda needing to focus on making sure she doesn't get caught out so easily like the last round, both landing stiff single punches as Amanda moves around the outside part of the ring.

A missed straight allows Amanda to get in tight to Taylor, landing an overhand left to the jaw, driving the taller woman onto the ropes, where she bangs away to the body till Taylor can drag her into a clinch, Amanda pressing her forehead into the chin of Taylor, referee breaks them up with both women giving the other a little shove, eyes intensely locked together before they resume fighting.

Taylor manages to catch Amanda with a straight to the top of her head, a follow up double jab/straight combo knocks back Amanda towards the ropes, Taylor looking determined to end this when she starts throwing right hooks, problem is Amanda manages to deflect one and pound in a straight to snap back the head of her taller opponent, a left cross on the chin opens up Swift to a left/right hook combo that sends sweat flying.

As they enter the final minute of the round, Taylor has to give Amanda a shove, both trading hard punches into each others beautiful faces, parrying aside a left cross Amanda land an uppercut, as Taylor is knocked onto her heels, Amanda then lands a right hook that opens a cut under the left eye of Swift.

At the end of the round Taylor feels the cut on her right cheek, seeing the blood on her glove and curses her luck, returning back to her stool to be patched up by Ana, across the ring with Amanda is being wiped down, Nadia talking to her about keeping the pressure on her opponent, with Amanda nodding as she bangs her gloves together.

Round 8:
Sweat making both fighters glistening as they step back out to fight, not as quick to engage as they fire out single punches, not wanting to make a mistake this late in the fight, Taylor landing the cleaner punches due to her reach advantage, a double jab lands square onto the nose of Righetti causes blood to start trickling from her nostrils.

As Swift looks ready to push forwards she is met with a straight onto the cut under her left eye, both hissing out when they get caught to their wounds, an overhand right slashes across the cut again, Taylor eyes half shutting as she winces, a left hook on the jaw rocks back the singer as Amanda's power is starting to come through.

While several punches do keep Amanda at range, it isn't long before another power punch catches Taylor again on the chin, sweat and blood is starting to come off Swift's head as Amanda is backing her up towards the ropes, Taylor's trying to fire back but is getting caught with nasty hooks to start wobbling her legs, Taylor needing to hold onto Amanda, finding herself being muscles onto the ropes as both fighters grapple around the ropes.

Broken up so they can fight on, Taylor tries to work back Amanda, problem is she is being caught with nasty hooks, another uppercut has Taylor reeling into a neutral corner, the bell rings to end the round with Taylor wiping blood from her cheek, the cut looking worse as Ana has to work hard to patch it up as the ringside doctor in their corner watches closely, across the ring Amanda taps her toes as she stares at Taylor, getting a drink and a breather as she looks determined, gritting her mouthpiece before the bell rings.

Round 9:
As they engage it looks like the body work of Amanda along with the cut has worn down Taylor, with Amanda getting a second breath as she parries a jab to land a left cross on the jaw, then an uppercut knocks back the head of Taylor, more punches slam into the face of Swift as she can't land a punch to knock back Amanda, A LEFT HOOK SHAKES THE LEGS OF TAYLOR, ANOTHER UPPERCUT LANDS FLUSH TO SEND SWIFT'S GUMSHIELD FLYING BEFORE SHE CRUMBLES FACE DOWN!

Amanda looks to the lights smiling before she heads to the neutral corner, 1...2...3... Taylor groans but is barely moving, 4....5....6... Ana shuts her eyes with Taylor turning her head to the right side with eyes shut, 7...8.. Amanda leans against the turnbuckles in the neutral corner watching Taylor for any movement, 9....10 it's over!

Winner Amanda Righetti KO Round 9

After:
Another marquee victory for the living legend, Amanda taking a deep breath before she raises her arms in the air, taking the round of applause around with her fans chanting for her, Amanda heads back to her stool looking happy to be getting cleaned up along with getting a well deserved rest.

While Taylor has to be helped up to her knees after being given smell salts to bring her around, ringside doctor checking her over, helping to patch up the cut under her left eye, Taylor winces when she is being touched, with the doctor saying that she needs to be checked over in the back

Soon Taylor is on her feet, she gets a well earned round of applause as she is helped to be taken out the ring, Amanda even gives her a clap to show her respect, Taylor fought well but just couldn't quite handle the raw power of Amanda, though she will have learned a lot in this defeat, still it has to be sore losing a big fight like this.

In the ring Amanda gets her gloves off and hands them to Nadia, thanking her coach for her hard work in getting her ready for this fight, Nadia joking "just don't give me a heart attack like when you were put down again" winking at Amanda, who chuckles before heading to the center of the ring.

Getting her left hand raised by the referee, the crowd chant "Big Red!" Repeatedly as she flexes her arms with a big grin for her fans, enjoying the attention, pointing out the ring at Tess Valmore as she asks "does that put me in the top ten?" Before getting an answer she heads off on a lap of honour.

Soon enough stepping out the ring with Nadia, while she will be sore tonight, it was an important victory for her, Amanda waves to her fans as they whistle and cheer her on, who else is on Amanda's hit list to remind the FCBA who the face of the organization is.
