Intro:
We kick off tonights PPV with a classic Aussie versus British clash, Renee Herbert takes on Vicky Pattison, both wanting a win to get themselves back on the right foot after a rough patch, both talented fighters so expect they will be back in contendership status before long.

Heading into the bout, both women post their opinions on this fight on their social media, Renee posts "heading to Cardiff to fight some old reality star, I don't know what the f**k Geordie Shore was, all I know is Vicky is the person I will be knocking out, because everyone knows us Aussies are simply hotter and tougher" certainly showing no respect to her opponent.

Vicky known to not hold to her tongue, she responds with "oh honey I wouldn't be so confident, we all know it's Elisha who got all the talent pet, don't worry though I'll give you a picture to remember, my foot on your tits as you lay knocked out, as my fellow Geordie Cheryl (Cole) would say, Geordie power!" Not afraid of the younger woman at all.

Fight night with Renee out onto the stage, she has her coach Nicky Whelan to her right, strutting down the aisle as she wears a turquoise bikini with matching gloves, her hair tied into a ponytail, she steps into the ring getting a mixed response from the crowd, she doesn't care as she smirks.

Vicky now steps through the curtain with her coach beside her to her right, Vicky grins as she flexes her arms for the crowd as she gets whistles and cheers, she is wearing a black bikini with white trim, white gloves and her hair tied into a ponytail, she climbs into the ring with her eyes firmly on her opponent, stretching her arms as her coach tells her she has got this.

The referee orders the fighters to them at the middle of the ring, they come together chesting up as they get into each others grill, referee needing to push them apart, there is soon a crack of leather when they hammer their gloves into their opponent's set, they then jog back to their corners, once everything is ready the bell rings to start 10 rounds of bantamweight action.

Round 1:
At the bell both fighters are exchanging early flurries, trying to get control of the action right away, fuelled by anger as punches slam into cheeks, several finding a home on the others chests, crowd is fired up as both women take a step back, eyeing their opponent up as they circle looking hateful.

After that fiery opening minute, Renee steps in with a right cross that only finds air, Vicky sees it a mile off, leaning out the way before pounding in a straight to the face of the younger fighter, whose temper might have gotten the better of her, leading to the English fighter grabbing control of the middle of the ring, bashing Renee through her mitts with the cleaner shots, while Herbert is landing mostly single punches OK, her power punches not so much.

Last thirty seconds sees Vicky up the tempo after landing a straight into the lips of Renee, a left cross follows into her chin, forcing the Aussie to cover up as Pattison begins to unload on her, good solid defence from the model as she is able to hold off most of Vicky's punches to the bell, great start for Vicky as she jogs back to her corner, Renee tapping her gloves together as she returns to her stool.

Round 2:
Changing tact slightly, Renee is crouching down more and landing almost fencing like straight punches into the chest and body of Vicky, whose caught off guard by the moves at first, having to retreat back to the outside part of the ring, Vicky does start to catch her opponent with several straight punches to her face in reply once she gets a handle on it.

Another switch comes though as Renee crouches, coming over the top this time with a left across the chin of Vicky, whose straight lost it's power there as it taps Renee on her head, another looping right smacks Vicky onto her jaw, suddenly Renee now has momentum as she forces back her opponent to the ropes, whacking in hooks till Vicky can hold onto her.

Broken apart with Vicky looking annoyed, the action heats up with around forty seconds to go, both lashing each other across the face with cross punches till they both step in and clash heads, referee checking them over, seeing both are OK but the bell rings before they can do anything more, Pattison now getting to see the real test she has in front of her.

Round 3:
Back out they come trading more stiff punches, cheeks marked up with a little redness forming, Vicky parries aside a straight to land one into the nose of her opponent, then slams in a left cross onto the chin of her younger opponent, making Renee back off as Vicky stalks after her.

Renee showing some poise to box off the back foot, again though her temper shows as she throws an ill timed right hook that finds air, Vicky slipping it and then landing an uppercut that knocks Herbert to her heels, Pattison pressing her opponent into the ropes, where she tests the abs of the youngster, who needs to hold onto her.

Split apart with under a minute to go, Renee forces the issue as she steps inside, banging in her own body shots to try to even that score, Vicky giving her a little shove, then rams a double jab into the face of Renee to make her back off, both boxing on the outside as things slow down a little with more methodical punches being exchanged up until the round ends, another solid round for Vicky as she returns to her stool, coach praising her as they talk about how things are going, Renee is told by Nicky to keep her cool, nothing to worry about yet beyond that in their eyes.

Round 4:
The fighters are both fired up for this as they nearly clash heads early on, after they reset and resume Vicky stuffs back Renee on her heels with a flush jab/straight combo on her lips, Vicky presses back her opponent to the ropes after following up with a clean left cross to the jaw of Renee, clinching up with the reality star to slow her down, both grinding impressive bodies together till they are pushed apart.

Vicky is too keen when they resume to try to keep the heat on Renee, missing with another left cross as the model dips under it, landing a jab square into the solar plexus of Pattison to make her groan out, then an uppercut knocks Vicky onto her heels, suddenly the tables are turning on the Geordie as she finds herself taking a three punch combo square into her face, knocking her into a neutral corner, where she covers up but Renee stuffs in more body punches till she is held onto.

Less then forty five seconds to go after they are broken up, Renee is quicker off the mark again as she rifles in a clean jab/straight to the face of the older fighter, Vicky finding herself being outworked as Renee looks to have found her flow, making Pattison cover up more tightly as seconds tick away, the bell rings to end the round with Renee looking disappointed that she is being stopped right now, jogging to her cover to see Nicky smiling as she is enjoying seeing a determined Renee tonight, Vicky meanwhile gets wiped down as she scowls over at her opponent.

Round 5:
That body punch to the solar plexus of Vicky might have took more out of her then first noticed, she isn't matching the work rate now of Renee, with the Aussie landing two punches to her one, forcing back Vicky after cracking her with a left/right cross combo onto her cheeks, getting her corner fired up as they cheer Herbert on.

Vicky is trying to slug back as she plants her feet, a wide right hook though opens her up, Renee making her pay with a short right into the solar plexus again, THEN A FOLLOW UP SHORT RIGHT SLAMS INTO THE LIVER OF VICKY, DOWN SHE CRUMBLES TO HER KNEES!

Renee bounces on her toes with her arms in the air staring at Vicky with a smirk, referee needing to nudge her to a neutral corner before the count can begin, 1....2....3... Vicky cradles her body as she groans, 4....5...6.. Cheeks red as she pushes to her right foot on the canvas, 7...8... She shakes her head towards her coach, 9...10 in too much pain to get up.

Winner Renee Herbert KO Round 5

After:
After the final bell Renee heads over to Vicky, giving Vicky a push to her back before pressing her right foot into the stomach of Vicky, flexing her arms for the cameras as she gives Vicky a taste of what she planned for Renee; the tables turned, Vicky is groaning out as tears fill her eyes, once the winner is satisfied with making her point, she heads off over to her corner with a smile a Cheshire cat would be proud of.

Vicky on the other hand curls up on her left side, spitting her gumshield out as she sheds tears, her coach needing to come into the ring to console her and use an icepack on her stomach, easing the pain as Vicky nods that she will be OK, wiping the tears away after around a minute of laying sobbing, sitting up to the delight of her fans.

Gingerly Vicky is helped out the ring, not wanting Renee to get any other ideas, it's a bruising defeat for the Geordie Shore alumni, she wanted to prove herself superior to this young gun, instead finding out why the ACB is proud of it's up and coming fighters, so she will need to lick her wounds and look to come back stronger next time she steps into the ring.

The winner meanwhile is washed down, gloves off and given a hug by her coach Nicky, Renee walking to the center with a beaming smile, her left hand being raised as her supporters roar, others not so happy to see another Aussie take down a British star, seems to be the way lately in most sports.

Out the ring steps Renee now, who hit a rough patch lately but has arguably claimed her most important victory of her career tonight, beating someone who just challenged for the BBU bantamweight title a few months ago, could it be her or her sister Elisha who might bring home more gold for the family? Time will tell as both fighters grow into the sport but the ACB has certainly found stars of the next decade it seems.
